I was complaining of some pain (cold sensitivity) and expected to need a crown. She took the time to explain everything that was likely to happen and made sure I was informed and comfortable with everything. Erin is very pleasant and extremely competent. By the time Dr. Britt came over I felt like Erin has been a friend for years. And the whole experience was made even better once I saw Dr. Britt. He was very kind and thorough with his examination and explained everything he was seeing until I understood what was going on. And the bonus... he actually recommended I not get the expensive and invasive crown and offered me a more appropriate treatment that cost me nothing! The office is well-decorated and cozy with accent walls and aesthetically-pleasing black and white photos of people with ridiculously white teeth. They have complimentary fruit and drinks (orange juice, green tea, water, etc.), free yummy chapstick, and of course your obligatory floss and toothpaste. The exam/cleaning rooms all have nice, big windows, so you can look out the window or watch TV while you are having work done, your choice. Also, you have the option of dipping your hands in a paraffin wax bath for a nice hand treatment as you get your teeth done. Absolutely genius ... I mean, if you're sitting there for an extended period of time anyway, why not? Everyone I interacted with there was very pleasant, but, most importantly, honest. Dr. Alber has a very frank, here's-how-it-is personality, which I really appreciated. He told me I should consider having my wisdom teeth out in the near future, and when I admitted that I thought I would be doing that on my next visit to Peru, he encouraged me. "Heck, they can do it for a lot cheaper than I can -- and they have good dentists!" he said. I really appreciated that because he could have said something like "Well, the only way you can be SURE to have it done well is to go through me." I loved the no-upsale approach. My visit was very cheap; with insurance, it ended up being $22, but without it would have been $110 for cleaning, xrays, and checkup. I will definitely be going back.

The entire experience was fast and fairly painless. She took care to make sure she knew my relevant medical and dental history, before examining and doing an x-ray to diagnose my gum infection and sinus problem, not exactly a dental issue. She and her staff are also skilled in periodontal maintenance and took care of my fairly minor issue within the hour. They were careful to check in about pain. I do plan to return for regular dentistry and highly recommend Dr. Ikeda's friendly and informative care.

Like most people I hate going to the dentist. After a particularly bad experience with a cavity…read morewhere I was given 7 shots of novocaine and then told to "just deal with the pain" I was completely phobic about the dentist. Dr. Higgins was recommended to me by a friend with the lowest pain tolerance I know. The office for starters is beautiful. They have Planet Earth playing in the waiting room and more books than brochures trying to sell you procedures. The receptionist is always super, super nice. She is chatty if you want to chat or quiet if you want to wallow in self-pity about having your teeth done. Even when I call too early in the morning she is friendly and helpful. A+ The hygienists are great. Friendly and helpful and as pain-free as possible. I hate having cavities searched for by pick. Here they use micoscopes! No unnecessary poking or prodding. The best part is Dr. Higgins though. My first cavity I was a nervous wreck. I was expecting the whole shebang of painful scrapy metal thing, big rubber thing, other big rubber mouth rest, needles, drills, pain, misery. He gave me a demo of his laser tool on his finger. It's that gentle! Makes a loud noise, but otherwise just sprays warm water. It's so cool! He told me "open your mouth, try to hold still." Then zapped it a few times, filled it, and I was out the door in less than 20 minutes. Didn't hurt, no shots, and the worst "pain" I had was water hitting my mouth. You can really tell Dr. Higgins loves what he does. He is not like most dentists who push procedures on you, he has talked me out of procedures numerous times that he thinks are unnecessary. He is passionate about his art and constantly searching for the next cool gadget to make dentistry less uncomfortable and less invasive. If all dentists were like him, no one would be scared of it anymore.

I came here as a 31 year old whose enamel eroded due to poor care and uncontrolled GERD both which…read moreabsolutely wrecked my teeth. I was told that the best option would be to prep and crown every single tooth. Dr. Chae is truly remarkable. His craft and precision are SECOND TO NONE. This entire practice is elite. I know this because I'm a son of a dentist and I can confidently say that this practices the most elite practice that I've ever experienced in my long history of dental care. Dr. Chae crowned every tooth and my smile looks real to the extent that people have complimented me on my teeth not knowing that what they are seeing are actually crowns. I went from an eroded, shortened teeth due to grinding and ended up with a genuinely beautiful smile that sincerely looks 100% real. I have increased my dental hygiene to the extent that I have a water pick and toothbrush at work after I eat lunch. I am so happy with my smile that I want it to last as long as possible as I am 31 and presumably have a lot of life ahead of me. I feel confident in the longevity of the total mouth rehabilitation given the extreme detail that Dr. Chae practices (he redid what was supposed to be an original final crown because they were not exactly how he wanted them to be at no extra cost, but just because of his demanding of perfection to the extent that is possible). It was a long process, the full mouth rehabilitation took around 15 visits over 6 months of multiple sets of temporary crowns, each improving on the last. I would trust Dr. Chae with my mouth forever because I know that he simply demands perfection and I have responded to his enthusiasm by implementing a strict floss 2x daily, waterpick 3x daily, brush 3x daily because I want my mouth to look exactly how it does now for as long as possible. I am confident that this rehabilitation will last a very long time given my new dental hygiene routine. If anything were to change, I would only go to Dr. Chae and this practice. There are several prosthodontists and their performance I can tell is similarly detail oriented, and elite. But given the fact that Dr. Chae completely rehabilitated my mouth, I would go nowhere else. I supremely recommend this practice more than five stars. It is as top notch as you can get. I can confidently say that if I were a patient, I would trust Dr. Chae's treatment plan and work over anybody else. I am very grateful to the practice and I was extremely warmly received and I will never forget how good of an experience I had at this place.
