The only thing that's changed since pre pandemic is that everything is done in the kitchen (behind the scene) including the "make your own bowl". I don't mind this at all however I really wish there were photos somewhere of the options, specifically the sides you can pick. I absolutely loved what I got. I chose basmati rice, braised kale + turmeric cauliflower as sides and the salmon as protein. I recommend the golden curry sauce which is just amazing. Eating it, I could tell that the dishes were modified for that type of person who wants Indian, but is looking out for oils, fats, carbs, etc. I got the I got the golden chicken curry ($11.75) which came with spice rubbed chicken thigh, green hot sauce, and basmati rice. I also ordered a Mango Lassi + MCT oil ($7). Unfortunately, there was no way to prove that I had gotten MCT oil in my Mango Lassi as it was sealed. Inday was a decent fast casual spot if you are looking for a quick meal and a modern take on Indian cuisine. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant and clean. When we ordered, there was no one at the cashier and we simply placed our orders on a tablet, which was efficient. Found it a bit strange that this location does not have naan, but when we asked, it sounded like that was only specific to this location. The Chicken Tikka was alright. Instead of rice, I substituted with a quinoa / cauliflower blend but it was quite cold when it came out of the kitchen, and we dined in. The chicken was a bit dry, but the sauce had decent flavor. We ended up staying until 8:58, when the restaurant closed at 9pm and were abruptly signaled to leave by the lights being turned off from the staff. We found this a bit jarring as we were cleaning up and planning to leave regardless. We got the Gunpowder Potatoes side dish , comes with vegan ranch dipping sauce (I actually liked this even though I avoid ranch flavor anything. ) We got the Tandoori Pineapple side dish, it was hot spice ! For main I got the Complete Macro Bowl and I added salmon, which turned out to be a big portion! This is listed under salad section when you order. It contained many different ingredients from lime beets to the really tasty coconut chickpea curry . My friend got the Golden Chicken Curry with like a green chutney delicious sauce and basmati rice. He finished everything. Also got a side of Red Coconut Curry Sauce, a spicy red sauce that I enjoyed with the potatoes and also on my Salmon. I tried their Lemonaid ginger and turmeric beverage , it's very tart and next time I'd try the cold chai in the drink case . They don't have alcohol or naan though. Got the charred chicken bowl over rice which was very good (4.5 stars). The chicken is nicely spiced and the yogurt sauce is delicious. The bowl basically tastes like halal cart chicken but healthier, and does not make you feel bad afterwards. The only criticism is that it needed heat. A spicy sauce or hot sauce would make this 5 stars. The portion and price are good and I would recommend trying it if you are in the area. read more

It's absolute Insanity how good it is. We went in looking for some takeout for dinner. then we took out the dish just because we wanted to try it first and then have some later. There was no stopping us from eating so much, it is that good. I had the roasted chicken thigh masala mama with the basmati rice. What surprised us is how little oil is left in the dish. Don't know how they do that but it is amazing. It's definitely got a little bit of a kick to it which was a very nice surprise and the chicken was very tender. There are different bases, vegetables, proteins, crunches, and sauces. I ordered double cauliflower rice and the "roots" which are carrots. Seriously, cauliflower rice is my obsession and I loved this cauliflower rice. The carrots were also really well cooked. I think I got cauliflower as my vegetable with some cabbage and I also got chicken for my protein. Topped with tomatoes and avocado crema sauce (at the recommendation of the staff), I set off to sit down with my bowl and dug in. WOW! So good, filling and it didn't leave me feeling guilty or like crap afterwards. I like that they were quick and efficient and that there were so many healthy options. Sick of Chipotle but still want to build your own bowl? Inday can do that for you with all of the spice and everything nice. They have several pre-crafted bowls if you are overwhelmed by the possible combinations. They have both rotational seasonal and permanent bowls to choose from. If you opt to build your own, which I did, the lowest price with no extra add-ons would be $8.25. You start the assembly line with a choice of 3 grains/veggies: I got cauliflower rice (extra $1.50), roasted kale, and charred broccoli. You can then add 2 garnishes, in which I chose pickled onions and cucumbers. For my protein, I ordered the roasted chicken breast, which was unfortunately a $5 add-on. I then asked for a generous drizzle of chili sauce, a sprinkle of cilantro, and a dash of sumac spice. Not only a colorful bowl it was, but also a delicious one! Even though upsetting that the cauliflower rice was an extra cost, it was worth it! It was delightfully spiced and umami, making it the perfect base to my bowl. Although Inday has Indian influence, it is not the traditional comfort heavy curry and naan-filled meal that most of us all love. I do love me some chana masala and daal, but it is also nice having a lighter option, like Inday, as well. Although very delicious and I would definitely come time and time again, I give it a 4-star rating because I think the add-on prices are pretty hefty. However, playing devil's advocate, it is similar in price to a Sweetgreen's salad, but in my opinion, Inday is levels above! Inday is usually bustling on work day lunches, but because we came in on President's day, it was refreshingly quiet with ample seating. I still REALLY enjoy the food here (see previous review), but I've had issues with pickup orders lately that have turned me off. If you place an order that includes a beverage, and you head to the pickup window and ask for your order, they present you with a sealed brown paper bag that usually does not include said beverage. I guess they expect customers to ask for pre-ordered beverages at the register or just grab them from the fridge? I'm not sure what the system is supposed to be, but it's confusing. Have had this happen twice now, of course not realizing the beverage was missing until I was blocks away or already home. TLDR: just make sure your delicious beverage is included with your order before leaving On my most recent order, the sauce was packed separately in a small container inside bowl- which is cool, great idea. Sadly though, they either put super hot sauce in a plastic cup, or a plastic cup on top of very hot food, and when I opened at home to eat, the sauce cup was badly melted and the food had traces of melted plastic on it, so it was inedible (by my standards anyway). The colorful dishes had me. So, on a whim, I stopped in. So many of these little places popping up all over the city. It was very busy during lunch hours with long lines, similar to Chipotle or Chop't. The food assembly is prompt and moves quickly. Be sure to know exactly what you want otherwise you may miss key ingredients. There's lots of variety on the menu. Choose between a seasonal special bowl or make your own - pick your protein base and add the veggies in etc. I went with a special, The Holy Macro Bowl (sweet potatoes, quinoa, mashed avocados, semi raw beets, flaxseeds, charred broccoli and falafel as my added protein, which was decent but I wish I had gotten an animal protein instead. I don't know how they make it but the flavors are perfect. Their falafel is interesting, it is nothing like a traditional falafel. It's more of a veggie ball, but it's really good! The spices they use to give it a really interesting flavor. The carrot hummus is also super good and has a really interesting flavor. I just love all the unique flavors that this place is able to create with its dishes. I walked into a residential building, turned around and started to walk out but the nice door man helped me find it around the corner. I went in between lunch and supper so it wasn't busy but the food still tasted fresh. Service was fast. The portion was generous. As you can see from the picture, the whole bowl was filled with food.
