Shame. I used to drive 45 minutes for my favorite dish..the lamb pasanda. For years it was sliced, tender lamb meat. They are now serving this dish ( at $23 chef special) like any curry with the dried cubes of mutton. I happiky paid more for this "chefs special" because it was a better cut of meat and only Indian Palace serves a non mutton dish. I have gotten this dish over 20 times. I ordered this dish from my initial male server. When I enquired I was told I was wrong and it was never sliced despite it stating it on the menu and the ONLY reason I would drive 45 minutes for Indian. I felt gaslighted, being told repeatedly I was wromg and that is how the dish comes. At this point a female server came by. I was in the middle of my meal and she asked if everything was okay and if finished. I said it was fine. She asked if I wanted dessert and I said no. She was rude and condescending and rushed me throughout my meal. It was 5pm on Monday night so not busy. I still was eating and drinking my beer when she asked me if I wanted boxes. Then dropped off the boxes and bag ..which they never used to do. They used to wrap up my meal. What am I paying a tip for? Why can't you box up my food? Covid is over. The bill was dropped off and I told the female server I would like to stay and finish my beer while I packaged up my meal. For context ..I was in my nursing uniform. I'm a hospice RN and I had a very stressful, sad day and all I wanted was to wind down and get served the food I ordered. Instead I felt like they were anxious to get rid of me. I put my card down but after no one came to process my bill I went up to the take out stand to pay. I spoke to my initial male server and asked to speak to a manager. I was told he was not working. He asked what was wrong and I re-explained the lamb pasanda was not as advertised nor as previously experienced. I explained they used to wrap up your food and no longer do this. I explained I felt rushed..all in a calm manner. The female server was rolling silverware but left to.confront me. She moved the male server out of the way and stated " if you don't like it don't pay". I calmly stated the dish was different and she stated they had a new chef and it's not her or the male servers fault. I was happy to pay for my meal and would have tipped 10% and honestly, I found her attitude insulting. I didn't complain to get a free meal. I asked questions and was gaslit and treated like an inconvenience. I didn't want to talk to her but she made a point to confront me. After working 13 hours today with dying people the last thing I need to do or want to do is write a review. But Indian Palace..you deserve it. I won't be coming back. read more

Having worked in restaurants before, I could kind of understand the attitude if it was minutes before closing time (it was not) or if I had ordered during a mad rush of customers (I had not). My wife and I come her pretty often. They always have the best buffet and very clean. Very great service and I'll tell you great music ( even though I can't understand it). This buffet is a little more pricey them others that I have been too. But it's the most tasty to my opinion. Always have everything labeled and always keep my water filled. Usually with buffet there is so much running around the service gets a little thin. Not here! Plus seems like there food is never ending even with all the foot traffic they get. Went for a quick lunch. I was really craving Indian food so decided let give this place a try! When I walked in i stood there for a couple of minutes before anyone acknowledged me. They had a couple of people passing by but then I finally got attention of someone who sat me quickly. Although quick, they didn't say anything just pointed to a table and I sat there for a few minutes so I went ahead and took the initiative to start at the buffet. After I sat down with food I waived someone down for water. The food has good flavor. At first they needed refreshes on the meats but once they refreshed it they were good flavor, not dry chicken also. I almost forgot the naan which is a staple imo and the man was definitely worth it. The buffet was about 18 bucks and had a variety of options including some desserts. I would recommend this place for a quick bite to eat with friends but not a business meal. Perfect to satisfy my craving. The ambiance also was good, had some younger and older groups of people all enjoying the food and good spirits. read more

This place charges an 18% service charge, even they don't take your order or serve the food to you--since it is a buffet. They did not tell us in advance of the 18% service charge, nor when we were paying, so we all included our usual tip in the 15% range. Even if we had noticed the service fee, 18% is ridiculous for a buffet. It feels like they do not care about our repeat business. The place was nearly empty. Now we know why. They also charge 3% if you use your credit card. The food was okay. I will not be surprised if this place is closed next time I drive by. read more

Came here for dinner one night and it was also recommended by a co worker. Got some veggie samosas to start and they were very full, flavorful, and fries perfectly. The garlic naan was a smaller portion that I'm used to receiving but it was tasty. It had far too much ghee though. The main dishes were tasty and flavorful. I liked the lamb better than the red curry dish. I would definitely come back and try a few different entrees. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Wonderful Buffett for lunch. They kept refilling and the fresh bread was a wonderful side to lunch. I enjoyed the variety and quality. I really liked that they had a good salad, variety of meat entrees and vegetable entrees and appetizers, then a great desert/fruit selection as well. Ordered through Doordash and this place has the worst indian food ever. Garlic naan was missing from my order. They gave white rice colored with saffron and hardly any chicken and said this is chicken biryani. When we called the restaurant, the guy who answered the phone was not ready to tell his name saying "Why i say my name?" and instead was willing to say Mr. Sodhi, the manager's name. We also had buffet there when we picked the order. They themselves ask us to pay contactless using Toast website on our phone and then the same guy came to us and said you have not paid. Food in general was all pathetic. Chicken in the curry was stale, gulab jamun was so rubbery and the kheer was badly prepared. We must have eaten at some hundred Indian restaurants all around the country and world but unfortunately this was the most horrible experience ever. read more

Stopped by Indian Delhi palace for their lunch buffet mid week early afternoon. Restaurant was relatively busy so they must be doing something right. The buffet was relatively small though honestly. Had the main staples such as curry, butter chicken, vegetable korma and a few others but that was it. Good if you're looking for authentic Indian. As far as branching out and trying something new you'd be better off ordering from the regular menu. Butter chicken was alright. Definitely not the best in the valley but decent. Curry was good. Flavorful and just enough spice to give it a kick but not too spicy where it's unenjoyable. Vegetable korma was good as well packed with flavor given it's a dish with no meat. Standard garlic naan. Service was attentive about refilling drinks and refilling food. Paid $47 for 2 buffet and 2 sodas after tip which is a fair price for all you can eat given that you'd be paying the same amount for one dish off the regular menu. Overall, not the best Indian food in the valley, probably better Indian buffets out there as well, but satisfactory for the price and convenience of it if you're looking for something quick easy and simple. read more

They saved us by being open on Christmas Day, which earns them a whole star. Everything was very decent. We started with the onion bhaji, I was a fan. My favorite thing was the butter chicken, I also liked eating the sauce with the chicken biryani (made the biryani more flavorful). The goat masala had reasonable flavor, but the meat quality wasn't great (not a high meat to bone ratio). I also enjoy my sauces less chunky/blended, but that's not a dealbreaker. I liked the lamb boti in the mixed grill, my family enjoyed the rest as well. The garlic naan was very yummy, one of my fave parts of going to an Indian restaurant. This is the second time I have tried to order f this business. The first time after waiting 45 min the Uber Eats order was canceled with no information. Then again today I placed and order and watch 3 different Uber drivers attempt to pick it up. Finally the third canceled the order. I called the restaurant and after asking for my name, he said well we never got any order because Uber Eats doesn't send us orders. He told me I just need to ask for a refund from them. This place has some of the best Indian food in town. My favorites are the Tika masala, butter chicken, and saag paneer. I have only eaten at the restaurant a few times but it's setup like a castle with the restaurant to the left, an Indian grocery to the right, and a reception hall upstairs. Pretty cool place. One works of caution, be carful with the spice. 4 is really spicy and I can take the heat! 5+ is fire. Be sure to leave a fire extinguisher in the bathroom after ordering anything 5+ just saying haha! read more

So glad to see onion bhaji was in full supply, and the orange-colored sauced dish (forgot the name but it's always there) is my fave over the rice. I tend to get a little of several things, it can't be helped! TODAY though, I tried a dish that I've never had or seen, and it tasted so beautiful that my soul sighed with joy --- Goa fish curry! The garlic naan is also very special to me now. MAJOR flavor on the garlic naan and ALL the dishes. I didn't see dark chutney this time, unless I missed it. Water is served without ice, better for the stomach! Not a giant variety of items, but the basics were there and all were quality and delicious! Rotating items, it's not the same every time except for (what Iv'e noticed) spinach, daal, chicken curry, tandoori chicken, tikka masala and a chick pea dish. I am addicted to Indian food. Whenever I step into an Indian restaurant my salivary glands go into overdrive. This was my second visit to this establishment and the second visit topped the first. Why, you say? The difference was defined by the a la carte experience as opposed to the buffet experience. Please note, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the buffet as it contained all the requisite flavors that make an Indian meal so delicious (although I did leave feeling like a stuffed turkey!). However, at dinner, you can order exactly what you want off the menu, you can savor the precise flavors that you want. You can order garlic naan if you want. You can have a lamb vindaloo as spicy as you want. You can decide on chicken or lamb or shrimp or simply go vegetarian. The decor here is typical of an Indian restaurant. The TV is set to play Indian songs, some of which you may recognize. The waiters are polite. The drinks are reasonably priced. Our overall dining experience was excellent.
