Awful. Horrible. Terrible. Slop! We invited friends to our house. Since we liked Indian food we decided to try this place for take-out. One of our friends is from India and when my husband and I lived in NYC, we ate Indian food frequently. We wasted over $100 on the worst Indian food we ever tried. We threw it out and went to Uncle Sal's, our go-to emergency spot. It was Saturday night so there was no excuse for serving such horrible food. Everything looked and tasted the same. We couldn't tell the difference between cauliflower, potatoes, eggplant or chicken. Mysterious, overcooked chunks were swimming in oil. Tomato based sauce tasted the same as butter sauce and tandoori flavors. BaganBartha looked like green vomit. Other dishes looked like diarrhea that had sat on a steam table since their lunch buffet. There were no discernable nuts or raisins in the Biyrani. We asked for Mango chutney but they couldn't find it. We asked for mild to medium heat level but it was as hot as the hottest Vindaloo we've ever eaten. To top things off, they asked us to call back in 5 minutes to order because the cash register was broken. Seriously? On a Saturday night? We should not have called back and we won't be back. ICK. We're glad we went elsewhere or we might have gotten ill. Spare yourselves.

3/8/2025 Wife and I stopped for Lunch today. Parking 5/5 Arrived 5 minutes before opening so the lot was ours. There is plenty of private parking including Handicapped spaces by the front door. Ambiance 5/5 We were greeted immediately by a pleasant Gentleman and were seated in the waiting area. The waiting area is nice and includes a separate seating in-the-round with a map of India with photos on wall. We were seated in the dining area which is always very nice (redecorated). The white linen table dress wasn't present possibly reserved for the dinner service which is when we've visited in the past. Menu 5/5 We took a walk on the wild side, meaning we ventured from or normal order-off the menu go-to's decided to try the Lunch Service Buffet. It was time to checkout other proteins and "flavoFlavs" ! Food 5/5 Provided with the buffet is an order of Garlic/Regulr Naan and multiple trips at the Buffet. My Wife 1st trip was for the Goat Marsala and Rice, I tried the butter and mixed vegetable Marsala and jasmine rice. Absolutely amazing flavors and delicious! We both tried other flavors and proteins on our second pass. Again, everything was great. Frequent flyer tip: If you know your Indian dishes and have a favorite order from the Menu. We decided to be more adventurous today but will order our favorite (Worlds best Chicken Tikka Marsala) from the menu next trip and yes many more visits! This is the very best Indian restaurant in the Valley Keep on Yelping my Friends!

Just spent over $60 for a 2 person meal. Horribly small portions for the $$ with so much better Indian food out there. Will not ever buy from here again. Triple portions of rice and one naan. Complete and total ripoff.

This Indian restaurant is still a 5 star for me. Here's an updated review since it has been a few years! Did an early Valentine's Day lunch buffet and as always the food was delicious. A few items had a bit of a kick. A buffet is a great choice to try several dishes that might be new to you! There was a fried cabbage dish that I had not tried before. Chicken seemed to be the main meat offering in many of the dishes, so if you want something not chicken related, the main menu might be a better choice. Service at noon was quick and our dirty dishes were whisked away quickly. I enjoy the interior, as there is always lots of tables.

Came here for the first time for Phoenix restaurant week and I liked the different variety of vegan and non vegan options. I really enjoyed the aloo matar, it was very flavorful. I got the spice level of 5 and I personally didn't think it was spicy so if you like spice I would recommend a higher level. The staff was very attentive and brought out our food quickly, the service was great.

The food is so good! The servers were attentive and kind, and the place was clean and overall beautiful. We had a nice time and the food was well priced

So rude and lies about the tone the restaurant closes. Came from far away and 40 minutes to close, they wouldn't do a Togo order... come on.

I came here for a really large work party and the best way to describe the ambiance was a nice wedding reception without a wedding. We had beautifully decorated tables with assigned seats, fun music, a bar, and photo ops. The drinks were good - in my opinion they were pretty standard event cocktails. Definitely tasty, but not craft cocktail level drinks. When it came time to eat and we all went through the buffet, I had pretty low expectations since it is a buffet to feed over 100 people. I have to say though, the food was really and truly wonderful. Best event food I've had hands down. Overall if you're looking for a fun place for your next large party this is a great option. I'd be happy to have a reason to go back!

Since we were planning the event from out of town, having a team we could trust was incredibly important -- and Bailey and the entire staff handled everything flawlessly. Even the decorations were set up beautifully and exactly as we had hoped. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. A special thank you to Bailey, the Event Coordinator, who was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. She was organized, responsive, and made everything feel easy and stress-free leading up to the event and the night of the dinner. The highlight was definitely the Rafter Room -- it was even more impressive in person than in the pictures. The space had a great atmosphere for a rehearsal dinner and made the evening feel really special for our family and guests. We spent time on the…read moredriving range first, then played the course, and wrapped things up with food and drinks at the restaurant and bar. We chose to walk the course for the exercise and slower pace, and they knocked $10 off our rate, that was a nice surprise. Another nice surprise was that golfing there includes a small bucket of balls to warm up on the driving range, nice! Wait, they have "Top-Golf'esque tech" on their driving range too?!?! Yup!! More below. It was a full, relaxed, fun afternoon. Here were my thoughts... * Service: service was consistently super friendly across the board, from the range to the course to the bar. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely nice and welcoming. Two waitresses weren't the most attentive or friendly when we got to the outside bar, but they were brief and the male bartenders more than made up for it, they were awesome. There was one thing that took away from the experience for me, likely not a big deal for those who play more. A course employee asked us to keep up the pace. He couldn't have been nicer about it, genuinely polite and friendly, but I really don't like that kind of pressure when I'm out there to relax and enjoy myself, life has enough pressure outside the course, I'm there to relax, have fun and chill. We weren't playing slow and there weren't groups stacked up behind us, so the added stress just wasn't necessary, it pulled me out of the moment. *Golf Course & Driving Range: the driving range was a lot of fun. A small bucket comes with a game, which was a nice surprise. Shockingly there are tech and digital screens that track your shots and give stats, very Topgolf like, so cool and surprising to see here! The course itself is nice and well kept, relatively short, with a lot of par 3s. There's quite a bit of desert golf, which personally isn't my favorite, I like a bit more grass to catch my not expertly hit balls. *Food & Drinks: the brisket burger was excellent, meaty, juicy, lightly smoky, warm and dripping in the best way. It came with a slice of smoked cheese, lettuce, tomato, and grilled onion, all on a soft, thick, chewy bun. It was delicious! The fries were great, crispy, warm, and thick with a good solid potatoey (is that a word?) bite. Beers were $9 each, not cheap, but they were ice cold, refreshing, and served with a helpful happy attitude by the bartenders. Nice selection too. They were perfect after walking 18 holes and occasionally (cough, cough) chasing a ball off the fairway. *Value: prices weren't cheap, but they also weren't outrageous, some of the lower prices in town. For the quality of the golf, the range technology, and especially the food, everything felt reasonable and fair. *Overall: this was a fun all-in experience with a great driving range, friendly service, decent golf, and surprisingly great food and drinks. Honestly, it was 5-6 hours extremely well spent and I'd happily do it again. I'm looking forward to it. And I recommend you give this place a try! Check out my pics, including their happy hour hours!

Every visit feels a little different depending on the season, and it's amazing to see all the different desert plants, wildlife, art installations, and water features throughout the garden. My wife especially loves coming here for gardening inspiration because this is one of the best places to see what actually thrives in a desert environment. One of the things that keeps us coming back is how often they rotate exhibits and events throughout the year. If you live nearby, a membership is absolutely worth it because just a few visits will pay for itself. Earlier this spring we visited during the FRAMERATE: Desert Pulse installation, which used 3D scanning technology to document desert life. The huge digital displays scattered throughout the garden added such a unique modern contrast to the natural scenery. They're currently hosting the Garden: After Dark exhibit with light installations integrated into the trails and cactus gardens. We visited during the daytime so we haven't experienced it firsthand yet, but it already looks incredible. Another highlight is the permanent Dale Chihuly glass exhibit near the entrance. If you're a fan of glass art or Chihuly's work, you'll definitely want to spend time checking it out. A few tips: definitely bring water, especially if you're visiting during the day. Thankfully there are several refill stations throughout the trails and plenty of shaded seating areas to rest. There's also Gertrude's near the main entrance along with a café deeper in the garden for snacks and lighter fare. The gift shop is also worth browsing before you leave. One of my favorite parts of every visit is the wildlife. On this trip alone we saw prairie dogs, quail, woodpeckers, doves, hummingbirds, and even a roadrunner. It's such a peaceful and beautifully maintained place that never gets old no matter how many times you visit.
