3/8/2025 Wife and I stopped for Lunch today. Parking 5/5 Arrived 5 minutes before opening so the lot was ours. There is plenty of private parking including Handicapped spaces by the front door. Ambiance 5/5 We were greeted immediately by a pleasant Gentleman and were seated in the waiting area. The waiting area is nice and includes a separate seating in-the-round with a map of India with photos on wall. We were seated in the dining area which is always very nice (redecorated). The white linen table dress wasn't present possibly reserved for the dinner service which is when we've visited in the past. Menu 5/5 We took a walk on the wild side, meaning we ventured from or normal order-off the menu go-to's decided to try the Lunch Service Buffet. It was time to checkout other proteins and "flavoFlavs" ! Food 5/5 Provided with the buffet is an order of Garlic/Regulr Naan and multiple trips at the Buffet. My Wife 1st trip was for the Goat Marsala and Rice, I tried the butter and mixed vegetable Marsala and jasmine rice. Absolutely amazing flavors and delicious! We both tried other flavors and proteins on our second pass. Again, everything was great. Frequent flyer tip: If you know your Indian dishes and have a favorite order from the Menu. We decided to be more adventurous today but will order our favorite (Worlds best Chicken Tikka Marsala) from the menu next trip and yes many more visits! This is the very best Indian restaurant in the Valley Keep on Yelping my Friends!

Korma?

Awful. Horrible. Terrible. Slop! We invited friends to our house. Since we liked Indian food we decided to try this place for take-out. One of our friends is from India and when my husband and I lived in NYC, we ate Indian food frequently. We wasted over $100 on the worst Indian food we ever tried. We threw it out and went to Uncle Sal's, our go-to emergency spot. It was Saturday night so there was no excuse for serving such horrible food. Everything looked and tasted the same. We couldn't tell the difference between cauliflower, potatoes, eggplant or chicken. Mysterious, overcooked chunks were swimming in oil. Tomato based sauce tasted the same as butter sauce and tandoori flavors. BaganBartha looked like green vomit. Other dishes looked like diarrhea that had sat on a steam table since their lunch buffet. There were no discernable nuts or raisins in the Biyrani. We asked for Mango chutney but they couldn't find it. We asked for mild to medium heat level but it was as hot as the hottest Vindaloo we've ever eaten. To top things off, they asked us to call back in 5 minutes to order because the cash register was broken. Seriously? On a Saturday night? We should not have called back and we won't be back. ICK. We're glad we went elsewhere or we might have gotten ill. Spare yourselves.

This Indian restaurant is still a 5 star for me. Here's an updated review since it has been a few years! Did an early Valentine's Day lunch buffet and as always the food was delicious. A few items had a bit of a kick. A buffet is a great choice to try several dishes that might be new to you! There was a fried cabbage dish that I had not tried before. Chicken seemed to be the main meat offering in many of the dishes, so if you want something not chicken related, the main menu might be a better choice. Service at noon was quick and our dirty dishes were whisked away quickly. I enjoy the interior, as there is always lots of tables.

Just spent over $60 for a 2 person meal. Horribly small portions for the $$ with so much better Indian food out there. Will not ever buy from here again. Triple portions of rice and one naan. Complete and total ripoff.

Came here for the first time for Phoenix restaurant week and I liked the different variety of vegan and non vegan options. I really enjoyed the aloo matar, it was very flavorful. I got the spice level of 5 and I personally didn't think it was spicy so if you like spice I would recommend a higher level. The staff was very attentive and brought out our food quickly, the service was great.

The food is so good! The servers were attentive and kind, and the place was clean and overall beautiful. We had a nice time and the food was well priced

All day Menu, and a Lunch buffet from 11:30-4:30

Do they have a bar irea? Do they have any draft beers?

No bar area that I see but they do serve alcohol and beers - I don't think they have draft

During our meal we were each asked if we wanted a dosa and we replied "heck ya!" There were two choices and I got the one with potato inside. Sorry, I wasn't sure what the other choice was. The only thing that wasn't as appetizing was that we had to use paper plates on the buffet. We saw some of the other diners had real plates so I am not sure if they either ordered from the menu (which is an option) or if the restaurant just ran out of clean plates. Mental note to self, go down a level in heat to a 2 when ordering because they do it spicy! Their garlic naan was awesome, and the Chicken Tikka Masala was wonderful. The portion size was just right. The true winner however was the Tandoori chicken. We did a half order of it, and decided next time we would do a full order and an order of the Butter chicken to split. Our server was probably one of the worst servers I have ever had. Zero personality and literally never said one word to us. Several to go orders and Uber Eats people came in and out while we waited about 10 minutes. We finally told the man at the front desk that we needed to order and get some drinks. Server came over with his notepad and looked at us to take orders, didn't say a word. When he brought the dishes, a few minutes later, he literally plopped all of them in one spot in the table without making any attempt to remember which dish went to which person. Very odd behavior The dishes on the menu are clearly marked vegetarian, vegan or contains meat. We had two dishes that were supposed to be vegan, one was a saag dish which they had placed butter over the top of. It looked delicious to everyone, but the vegans who could not eat it. When we pointed it out, they made no attempt to offer us another dish and just said oh yes, that's ghee (clarified butter) we said the menu indicated it was vegan, but again no response. The two vegans at our table just decided rather than argue, they will share the rice dish, which was also indicated as vegan. As they started to eat it, they realized there were several pieces of paneer in it. I really hope this was a one off because this was one of my favorite places to eat Indian food. Very very disappointing and no accommodation for the inedible dishes.

We started with drinks, my friends had the mango lassi and chai while I had a Rumana cocktail. Both of the other drinks were so yummy but not exactly what I'd drink with dinner, my Rumana was super tasty and very strong! Our table started out with the hamachi crudo - crudo is one of my absolute favorite dishes so I was very happy to have this as an app, the sauce the fish was in was so good I almost licked the plate clean. For the main dishes, we had kashmiri lamb rogan josh, pork ribs vindaloo, home style butter chicken, chicken dum biryani, and a lot of garlic naan. I can't say enough good stuff about the food here, they really elevate Indian food and it feels very authentic. We ate up everything, I think we had one small take out box and that was it. We couldn't sleep on dessert though, we ordered one of each of their 3 options - piña colada, chai & biskoot, and phirni - I think the overall fave was the chai dessert but the others were close contenders. Overall I'd 100% try this place again and had a great time trying dishes I normally wouldn't since I'm so committed to tikka masala and butter chicken.
