Lunch buffet was delicious. Beef vindaloo is a must try. Tandoori chicken is very tender. Would recommend!

We were greeted by Sandeep who owns the restaurant as we entered. It was a snowy evening and we were happy to find an Indian restaurant next to our hotel. Sandeep was very helpful and helped us in our selection. He suggested Missi Roti for my wife who cannot eat wheat. It's made from Chickpea flour. The food arrived hot and was so delicious. I think it's the best Indian food we have had. We had the Tandoor platter which was a sampling of fish, prawn, lamb and chicken. Everything was so delicious. Sandeep gave me tour of his Tandoor oven as I have never seen one. Gratuitous and kind host. We will certainly come again. read more

This is late post probably a month later after dining here , but I still remember the amazing taste of authentic Indian dishes. I came here with a family and we ordered mixed tandoori platter ,lamb biryani ,methi chicken & naan. Food is fantastic, worth paying money for all dishes. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Ambience is too good , One of the best Indian restaurant in the town. I would highly recommend dining here if your in the Vancouver area. Will definitely come back here again!!! read more

Amazing food, service & quality! I came 2x and had the 2 specialty dishes: Methi Chicken and Chettinadu Chicken with garlic naan and rice. My mouth was full of flavour and my tummy was so full. Good portions at very reasonable prices especially in downtown. The naan is light, made fresh and hot. The sauces are creamy and mouthwatering. Highly recommend this hidden gem as it is on the side of an office building but it is completely worth it when you find it! They also do many take out and free deliveries within 5km and have lunch buffets! read more

Great find located by the Vancouver Convention Center. Very fresh, large portions, good price and friendly staff. We had the veggie pakora, vegetable coconut and Chettinadu chicken. In one word, Amazing. I've never wanted to give such a high review before. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Had the lunch buffet. The beef masala was perfectly tender and flavored. Same for the butter chicken. Tandoor chicken was moist and juicy. Great smoked flavor. Not dry like many buffets. You can tell this place knows what they're doing. May be harder to find inside a commercial and residential building but well worth the effort to get here. It's a block from the convention center, Pan Pacific and Fairmont Hotels so great if you want to get away from the high priced tourist traps. Clean and friendly staff. Highly recommend! read more

Ordered chicken tikka masala but the chicken was very tough. And the naan bread was still very doughy as though it was 100% cooked. There was also a lot of small fruit flies flying around my table. However the tikka masala sauce was very nice, and the staff were friendly. read more

My wife and I arrived in the early evening to our hotel in Vancouver (first trip) and were looking for a local spot for a light dinner. She has a gluten allergy which can be limiting on our choices for dining out in an unknown city. We know that Indian food is always a good choice and found Indian Delicacy on Yelp and decided to try it. It exceeded our expectations. Small, but very neat and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was fantastic. Served quickly and expertly prepared, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The restaurant is on the first floor of an office building so I expect it is a great lunch spot. However, while quiet for dinner I would not steer away in favor of busier places because the staff and food is worth it! read more

In Vancouver after an Alaskan cruise and stopped into this Northern Indian place for dinner. They served us the best naan I ever had - hot, light, right out of the tandoor. My lamb vindaloo was nice and spicy hot, while my wife's butter chicken was mild and creamy, as she likes it. Well worth stopping in - if the door on the Pender St office building is locked, walk around the back to get in. read more

I've eaten Indian food from Darjeeling to Dakar and this place served up Fish Malabar and Aloo Palak that was up there with the best of those meals. Really impressed with this new Indian restaurant tucked in behind a nondescript office building. What is lacking in ambiance is more than made up for with amazing and flavourful dishes and exceptional fresh naan. Had a couple of vegetarian curries and the eggplant and potato was a stand out with nice chunks of perfectly cooked eggplant. In any case if you are downtown near coal harbour give this place a try.
