Let me say this rating is based on ordering through Uber Eats. They had a special bogo deal for chicken tikka masala, $22.49. It came with each meal in pint sized containers. We patronize Indian Hut quite frequently mainly as we are Asians. I want to let the owner of this restaurant know that his staff makes the order after checking the TIP. Everytime I come to order Biriyani I normally tip them around $15 . But today when I came to get my order I tipped them below $5/- and when I went home and served the rice there weren't any chicken in the rice whereas other days there are good amount of cooked chicken in the rice which is standard for chicken Biriyani. This situation is not acceptable at all. please look into this matter seriously. in fact the same issue had been experienced by some friends of mine and they warned me before hand when I was trying to promote the place. if you do not eat meat please do not go here! i ordered veg biryani and vegmanchurian and they literally gave me chicken. i figured it was a mistake and called the store and the guy argued me down saying it was veggies and hung up on me. i recited it because it was clearly chicken. i guess i was right because the next morning the manager called and agreed to redo my entire order. he told me to give a call when im on my way. i did and they told me i had to pay for my rice again and can only get the veggiemanchurian but i explained i didnt eat any of it after being turned off cause i ate chicken after avoiding it for personal reasons with my health. once i threatened to call the manager back the worker agreed to just give it to me only to call back five minutes later and tell me he can only give me chicken biryani. i explained again i can not eat the chicken!!! so after arguing in his language with i'm assuming the cook he said forget it he can "just give me the veg biryani" at this point i didn't trust them at all. i received the food and now the biryani seemed off. please do not allow them to play with your food. i am extremely disappointed and will never return. Horrible food, ambience, and hygiene!!! I am an Indian (South Indian) and was visiting Orlando. I had taken a cab to this restaurant so I can eat some hot fresh dosas (rice crepe). As soon as I entered the restaurant, I could feel the ambience completely off. But I was extremely hungry and had spent for the cab to come all the way there. So I decided to ignore my gut and give it a shot. WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE!! First of all, they don't serve. It's a pay at counter AND collect at counter. This means that you pay for the food upfront - first red flag. So they don't even make an attempt to make good food. We ordered samosa chat, sev puri, and onion rava dosa. The samosa chat was made with frozen samosas (which was spoilt for all I know) and was soggy as a tissue drenched in water! The sev puri was sad, just sad. Indian chats are supposed to be tangy, spicy, sweet/sour - like a flavor bomb. But this just had a stale set puris with some tamarind and green chutney and sev on top. And the rava dosa was SALTY and.... yes soggy like that wet tissue again!! Now let's come to the hygiene part - they had kept foam cups on the table near the water dispenser for patrons. When I took my foam cup, another one fell down by mistake. I had too many things in my hand, so I wasn't able to throw the cup into the trash can. A waiter comes after a couple of minutes, picks up the cup from the floor, and puts it back on the cups pile on the table for other patrons to use!!! I mean SERIOUSLY??!! And I don't even want to talk about the cleanliness in the back kitchen! I feel really bad thinking about those patrons who come in here thinking of eating authentic Indian food and eat THIS instead. I'd give Indian Hut a solid 3.5 stars. It's a quick service setup, you order your food at the counter, they give you a pager, and you pick up the food when it's ready. In our case, since the place was practically empty (I got a craving for Indian food at 4 pm), the kind gentleman brought the food to our table. There's a side table from where you pick up your plates/utensils/napkins. We ordered goat biryani, butter chicken, white rice, and buttered naan. For dessert we had gaajar (carrot) halwa and a slice of eggless mango cake. The biryani was OK, spicy and flavorful. But the goat was on the tough side... the butter chicken was standard fare. The naan was a bit burnt, and not as fluffy/airy as I prefer, but still acceptable. The desserts, however, we both delicious. The mango cake was light and airy, and well balanced so the mango flavor wasn't overpowering. The carrot halwa was fantastic! The desserts reside in a cooler, so I asked them to warm it up the halwa a little before serving it. It was perfect, with lots of cashews and raisins throughout. The restaurant and bathroom were clean when I visited. Service was friendly. Prices were on the higher side for quick service restaurant. read more

I got the Medium Chicken Vindaloo and was spiced perfectly. good amount of heat :) my boyfriend got the Chicken Tikka Masala as mild and his was really great flavor, no heat really at all so if you don't want spicey get mild. The medium did make me sweat a little, which I wanted lol. we got the sev puri as an app, it was good but prob wouldn't get again. The garlic naan was amazing, the butter was okay. My three stars come from my expectation being different from my experience. But keep reading because the food is great! Firstly, the 3 rating is due to the interior and feel of the place. It felt like a Subway or a Wendy's - any fast-food place. The only seating option was table and chairs. The tables have the plate of glass over the brown table top. Not nice looking. I was sitting on my own and kept bumping the glass top out of place. I can't imagine sitting with more people or a child. There were no booth options, which provide a little more cozy and private seating. Also, it was one of the chilliest days in Florida and the Indian Hut was pretty cold inside. The other patrons and myself kept our coats on. I had ordered tea with my meal and only received well after I had been partway through my meal. I had ordered it to warm up and had hoped to have it before my meal. The plates were cheap plastic which kept sliding on the tray or table. Now, the positive! The food was AMAZING. The other customers clearly enjoyed their food choices (clean plates, to-go boxes, and ordering more!) I ordered the Chicken Dum Biryiani. It was fabulous. The heat was perfec. The chicken was tender and well prepared. The whole combination of flavors was perfect. I'm pretty excited to eat my leftovers. All this to say, I will definitely order from the Indian Hut again - I'll simply get it to go!
