Came here for date night while traveling. The view was very nice it was a bit dark however. Upon walking in we walked up a set of steps to be seated and had a window view. Our server placed our napkins on our laps and immediately went over specials. I had a margarita with gold covered icd cubes that was wood smoked. I had the snapper special in which the sauce was excellent, but fish could have been cooked maybe 2min longer. I also had the chargrilled oysters which I didn't care for because there were grilled onions so you could barely taste the oyster. Sides ordered were Au Gratin potatoes and Brussels which were both plentiful and delicious. My date ordered the vegan steak and stated the seasoning was off, but the gravy helped. When in Texas, go big with Perry's! We love coming to Perry's when we're in Texas, they have some really good meats. Make reservations, location is packed and huge. We had an early dinner due to a toddler. It was loud in the restaurant so we felt comfortable with him. We ordered a cocktail, a thyme lemon drop and a martini. My lemon drop was delicious! For entrees I got the famous pork chop and my husband got the ribeye. Can't get a pork chop like that in CA, so I love coming here and eating it. It's way big! Enough to share TBH. We came Here for a bday dinner with a party of about 16 people. We sat down at our reservation time of 7:15 and we didn't eat until about 9:15. Yes I get it a big party usually has to eat a bit longer, but idk it seemed a bit excessive on the wait time. When we placed our order we ordered a starter as well and it arrived with the food. :/. I wasn't expecting that. Another person in our party ordered escargot for the table so along with bread that was almost enough to hold us over until the food arrived, but we all were pretty eager to eat by the 2 hour mark. Escargot were great by the way. Food arrived. And it was Meh! Lobster bisque tasted like it came out of a can. Spinach dip seemed like it came out of a can and was very bland. It had nothing special to it. Chips were just meh! I ordered the filet Perry and my steak was salty af. And for someone who loves seasoning and salt to say it's salty it like ! But this was by far too salty to eat. Whomever seasoned it went a bit heavy on the seasoning. I wasn't the only person in my party to say this about their steak. I'd give it a 5/10. It's definitely not a place I'm running to tell people to go and try. The ambiance is nice. The views are amazing. So if you want a nice romantic date this would be eat as far as the ambiance goes but the food was definitely a miss not a hit. Go at your own risk, but with low expectations. read more

Updated : Perry's and LAZ have fixed the issue. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this location. We visited this location for drinks, and to see if we liked the Dallas location over other locations. My main issue is that the parking was supposed to be validated. I handed my ticket to the hostess, and she handed it back to me. To my surprise, I was met with a $10.00 charge at the exit, and I had to scramble to find a card, as I wasn't expecting to have to pay for free parking to exit. We weren't there over a time limit - this was a quick stop for drinks and a little chat. I reached out via email to Perry's management (I got their email from a business card) who put me in contact with LAZ parking for a refund. I have been emailing back and forth with them since JULY with no resolution. They requested and received my address and claimed to have sent a check- nothing. I followed up with them, and they said they'd check the status of said check. Nothing. I followed up again, and now they said they'd take care of it personally through Venmo or another method to "alleviate the wait and process." I told them my preferred method of payment. It's been a few days and --nothing. As far as Perry's-- because I still felt that someone should handle this concern appropriately--I reached back out, updating them that the issue has still not been taken care of through LAZ parking, and .... Nothing. This communication was sent 8/27/25. So, I'm receiving no assistance from LAZ parking, nor Perry's. Other than that, I don't like the physical location- it's busier on the street and across from the park. But this is just personal preference. Pros: The drinks were consistent from this location to my preferred location in Grapevine. The bar has a nice setup. The bar tenders were attentive. It's walking distance from the park and other things in Dallas. I'm just saddened that Perry's is associated with LAZ parking-- especially with the horrible reviews and rating they have. And even more disappointed that this issue hasn't been resolved and it's been 2+ months !! read more

I started with the Filet Mignon Lettuce Wraps they were good, but nothing special. My only complaint? There are three. Odd numbers make for awkward sharing; if there are two people, someone's left deciding who gets the last one, and if there are four, you're ordering a second round just to make it even. For my main, I ordered the famous Friday Pork Chop Lunch Special, and wow it's enormous. Hard to believe this is only half the size of the dinner portion. It's served with mashed potatoes and applesauce for dipping, which adds a nice nostalgic touch. We also ordered the Brussels Sprouts and Asparagus, both excellent sides that complemented the meal perfectly. Our server was attentive, professional, and timed everything flawlessly. For dessert, we had coffee and split the Champagne Biscuit Charlotte. It was good, but ultimately forgettable. Overall, Perry's delivers a strong lunch experience. I had the sea bass, and the man had the bone-in ribeye with mashed potatoes as the side. The sea bass was a pretty decent size and was cooked perfectly-- buttery and flaky. If I hadn't had the appetizers, I would have eaten it all. The man ordered the ribeye medium-well, and it was cooked just right for him. It was pretty tender and very flavorful. Despite having an 11 a.m. reservation, we still waited 10 minutes to be seated while the restaurant was empty and three employees were standing at the host stand just chatting. Our plates arrived dirty, the calamari had no flavor, and when we asked if it came with a sauce since it lacked flavor our server simply said no and didn't offer any alternative -- we barely ate four bites, so that was $25 wasted. The beef Wellington was extremely rare and cold in the center, and when we mentioned it, again there was no concern. Maybe she accidentally told the kitchen the wrong thing. Anyway, we let her know that it's incorrect and send it back. A few mins later, we get the same steak back, and this time it's well done! We had to wait a while for our server to let her know it was still wrong, but a manager stops over before she could do we let him know and he sends it back. We waited about 20-25 more minutes for our new steak. At this point our sides are cold, and we nearly finish eating our sides while we wait because we were so hungry. We get the new steak finally and it's medium rare, but it's a much smaller cut than the first ribeye and lacking in flavor despite how colorful the outside of the steak looked. 2. We ordered mac and cheese and creamed spinach as our other two sides. The mac and cheese tasted like hot dog water or vienna sausages. I am not sure what flavors those were but it was very off putting. I didn't taste any cheese what so ever. And they use penne noodles for their mac FYI. 3. Those in between wait time moments. I wasn't crowded in there, so I wasn't sure what was causing the time that it took to get our food back/for our server to return to us to be as long as it was. But while we waited, we enjoyed the weather and views We didn't have the best experience at this location. Don't be over 15min late or you will get a charge :) The only think that we were like "oh noooooo" about was the waitress didn't pack the truffle butter when she packed up our truffle potato wedges :( I was so sad when we got back to the room lol that was the best part of them and we were so full we didn't even get to eat any but one when we were at the restaurant lol so if you ordered the truffle potato wedges, and you take some home, please make sure to tell the waitress to pack the special delicious truffle butter. read more

Had a fantastic time there to celebrate our anniversary. Pretty easy parking, you just need to make sure to drive 'down' a ramp into the basement garage on Olive St. the atmosphere is pleasant and inmate. We asked for a window seat which oversees the Klyde Warren Park. Beautiful scenery on a wintry night. The service was top notch. Food was well worth it, I just wish I had more room to try everything on the menu. The steak was cooked to perfection. It was a good portion size and there surely were some left to take home. Overall a grande experience that leaves the establishment a great choice for any occasion. read more
