I don't know where to start with this review because this was such an amazing experience. From the food to the drinks to the service... My partner could not have picked a better venue for my birthday dinner. I will just say that if you are in the Dallas area, this should definitely be on your list of places to go. The food is so good and we did not leave a crumb on any of those plates. After I was stuffed, I was still eating that bread. I left stuffed and so happy. Also, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a celebratory dinner or just to get together with friends. Go!

A really great place! A cozy and well-decorated interior, valet, and delicious food. The focaccia was insanely delicious and is a must-order. The pesto pasta was also really good. I got it without the sausage, and it still was amazing. The goat cheese was a perfect tang to pair with it. We sat in the front porch section of the restaurant and it did get a bit toasty during the summer just as a heads up to dress accordingly if you're sat there :)

    Negroni was perfect.

A great place for dinner with outstanding food and great service. This time I sat at the bar, and the bartenders were very friendly, and they knew the menu well. They have a great selection of craft cocktails but can make you anything from the full bar. A good wine list too. I started with the yellowfin appetizer which was truly divine. Next came the short rib, which was extra savory and delicious. The menu is full of a variety of options, including pasta and some vegetarian dishes.

Love Sister!!! Such a great visit. We were seated on the patio, which is still indoors (thank goodness). Favorite dishes were the lobster appetizer, the clam pasta, and the boarnaise pasta. The white amatriciana pasta tasted a little off to me. Out of the duro restaurants, I still favor The Charles and Mister Charles, but this was truly an excellent meal by any standard

The Dallas food scene may be one of the most consistently satisfying scenes. I'd be lying if I said I would have believed that had someone told me. It's either that or I just have damn good taste. I'm thinking it's the latter. Banger after banger, this town does not miss. I'd had Sister bookmarked for a good bit but was saving it until I could go with my Sister ofc! To sweeten the deal my brother took both of his Sisters. It was such a stubbing experience. The menu was superb, dish after dish I seriously was starting to get scared and anticipate the next item to hit the table will be horrible because no one place can be this yummy. We ordered all sorts of stuff (peep the pics!) focaccia, carrots, broccoli, beets and avocado, clams vongole, a red fish dish, a ricotta dessert and a ton of drinks! You cannot go wrong here. The plates are SO scrumptious. Service was great and our sibling dinner was an absolute smash! Ambiance is a solid 5 Stars! Literally obsessed with every nook and cranny. I love Italy and ceramics so I couldn't stop admiring every last item. Who ever designed the place, knocked this shit outta the park. It's perfection. I loved every aspect of our time here, minus the short wait after arrival for our table to be ready.

pleasantly surprised!!! i was dreading it a bit thinking portions would be small and overpriced. however, 5 dishes came out to $33 per and was bordering more than enough for 4 hungry girls on a late reservation! the focaccia was obviously amazing (carbs + oil... what's not to love?), as was the pasta (though I would maybe recommend a different combination from what we got, since both were rather acidic). broccoli was good, but nothing too special. obviously it's gorgeous in there, and all of the staff are on point and knowledgeable! tldr: best italian food ever and worth the price? maybe not. but a nice spot that's not too exorbitantly priced? absolutely

Sister is becoming a Christmas tradition. I love their modern take on Italian food. For starters, everything is meant to be shared. So for foodies, come with a group and try as much as you can! Beware, there is really no coursing. If you don't want everything at once, pace your server and don't order everything at once. The service, while friendly, does feel a bit like NASCAR with constant urgency. I get it, they are popular and busy. Ahh the food! The Za'atar focaccia is a must have. We also ordered the Arugula and Fennel Salad and Beets and Avocado. If you are not a huge fan of beets, definitely go with the former. It's a ton of beets! The Veal and Pork Meatballs were also tasty and the focaccia was handy to mop up the sauce. For pasta, we shared the pesto fusilli and the white Amatriciana. Both were tasty, but I preferred the white creamy sauce of the Amertriciana over the fusilli. The Wagyu beef was incredibly tender and a fantastic finale for our flavorful meal. Cocktails: tequila mockingbird and Old Fashioned. Amazing! They use clear ice, which is a detail I love in a cocktail bar.

I treated myself on a solo date here and had such an enjoyable experience! Leslie i believe was my waitresses name and she was great for my overall experience especially with it being my 1st time. I started off with the pear drink. I saw pictures online where it was accompanied with a dried pear which mine didn't have. It tasted good, was light on the alcohol imo and wasn't unforgettable. I ordered everything from each subsection of the menu. I started off with the INCREDIBLE focaccia. This thing was humungous, the olive oil which had an incredible olive flavor to it was divine!! I ordered their home made pasta which had a creamy sauce and pancetta. It was a little lukewarm but still enjoyable. I ordered a side of the potatoes, carrots and the wagyu short rib. The short rub is sous vide and cooked medium rate. However, my waiter graciously allowed me to order to medium which was much appreciated. The dish has a lot of flavors going on in the dish but the sour apple puree hit me by surprise. It was went well with the protein and I throughly enjoyed it. The accompanying salad was a little sweet for me but was still good! I loved the carrots which I thought was going to be really sweet with the apricots but everything was perfect. The potatoes had a lot of flavor profiles going on there as well. It was a lot for one person and pretty much every dish so please don't overdue it or go with people and share haha. Lastly, I ordered the lemon panna cotta without blueberry compote and the chocolate cake with espresso ice cream. That ICE CREAM WAS AMAZINGG. It was the most balanced ice cream, delicate in flavor, creamy and added the perfect sweetness to the cake. The panna cotta was an enjoyable texture but a little bit on the lemony side for me. I do wish the lemon flavor wasn't too forward but because I'm allergic to berries I can definitely see how the compote aids with the tartness. Service was top notch and I felt welcomed by my waitress who explained the menu well, listened to my allergies and was accommodating and even gave me a nice treat at the end of my meal which I greatly appreciated. Hostesses could be a little more friendly, they did look miserable and didn't acknowledge me when I came in and told them my name and reservation time. They simply looked away as if they didn't hear me and I waited over a min for one of the hostesses to grab a menu and seat me outside. I don't need a smile but simple acknowledgment would've been nice. The inconsistency with the pear drink and the panna cotta were factors into why my review wasn't a complete 5. Aside from this, if you haven't dined here, I would recommend. I came for a solo dinner date but it's also perfect for a birthday dinner, date night, girl's dinner or whatever occasion. I waited 3 years to try it and hitting myself for not going sooner. Texture is a big thing for me and I feel like they execute that well among the experience of eating food. It's an art, believe me lol. I could see this restaurant doing seasonal options with local or national flavors and that would be cool to see. I'll definitely be back!!

This will be one of my go to spots when I'm visiting dallas. The food hear is amazing and is perfect for a date night or for a great catch up with close friends. It's so cozy and has tons of food options. For dinner we had the pasta, roasted carrots, a nice glass of wine and the fish. The plates are shareable and perfect for two people. The staff is nice as well they are very attentive and made great recommendations.

Service was phenomenal, our waitress was so sweet and recommended a beautiful wine pairing to our meal. Even the valet outside was so sweet and nice. Food was heavenly. To start we ordered the Tuna Tartare and it was a great mix of umami and spice. The main courses were phenomenal, and I recommend their Lobster Pasta, I believe it was a special but was so so decadent.

We arrived a bit early for our reservation and were warmly invited to grab a drink at the bar such a great start to the evening. We tried the Tequila Mockingbird and O Sole Mio. Both were delicious, but the Mockingbird was the clear winner for us. The O Sole Mio definitely brings the heat, so it's perfect if you enjoy a spicy kick! While we were waiting, we were chatting about what we ordered on a previous visit, and a waiter named Victor overheard us and jumped in with some recommendations which turned out to be fantastic. Once seated, our waitress Adrian took over, and she was absolutely phenomenal. To start, we had the charred octopus and the za'atar focaccia(the serving is huge) both were incredible. For mains, we shared the white amatriciana, which was slightly salty for our taste but still enjoyable. The true star of the night, though, was the wagyu short rib, it literally melted in our mouths. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Everyone, from the host and bartender to the food runners and busser checked in on us, making the experience feel thoughtful and attentive. Huge shoutout to Adrian for her service and Victor for his spot-on recommendations. We hadn't been back in a while, and we couldn't stop talking about it all night. Such a delicious, romantic date night,we'll definitely be back.

Yum!! My girlfriend and I split the focaccia, beets and avocado, pesto fusilli, carrots and Wagyu short rib dishes. To make this short and sweet, they were 10/10. The focaccia was MASSIVE! Did not expect that and the flavors bold. The pesto fusilli was so so good, the pesto was fresh and the cashews and peppers gave a great crunch. We got carrots over whipped feta as a side that was soooo tasty. The short rib was perfectly cooked and the greens on the side were a good addition. We dined on the patio and the ambiance was perfect. Great date night spot or GNO!

Finally, a place that lives up to the hype! We made reservations to visit Sister on a Saturday night and parked valet. We were seated near the entrance, but it was still comfortable. I tried the Spirit Animal and it's a skip for me. The bergamot liquor overpowers everything else. The Aloe-ways Love You is much better. Now on to the dinner menu. The eggplant frites was delicious, and not as greasy as other places. The broccoli is incredible and a must try dish. It's a good texture and sautéed well. The potatoes taste good, but they are dry so it's better to balance them with something like the broccoli. The wagyu short rib is a star dish. The meat was tender and, as everything else, packed with flavor. The clam vongole...I recommend staggering the dishes. Our short rib, pasta, and sides came out at the same time. That could be the reason why the pasta didn't stand out as much. The chocolate custard cake is slightly spongy, and would taste better if it were served hot. However, the espresso ice cream more than makes up for it. Service was stellar and personable!

We started with the focaccia bread (5/5). Wow--this might be some of the best bread I've ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the dip was delicious. I usually try not to fill up on bread before the entrées arrive, but we made sure to finish every bite. We also ordered the burrata salad (5/5), which was a very generous portion and absolutely delicious. I would definitely order it again. For our entrées, my friend and I shared the chicken piccata and the bolognese. The chicken piccata was a 5/5 for me, while the bolognese was a 4.5/5. Both dishes were excellent and I'd happily order either again. This visit was a completely different experience from my first one, and I'm glad I came back. Food: -House made focaccia; this focaccia deserves all the awards you can get for bread because it is so appetizing and savory. The seasoning paired with the whipped ricotta and roasted garlic are everything you could want and more and I had to hold back from ordering more before the main dish arrived -Spicy gemelli; I was looking forward to this dish since it's a highly popular item on their menu but ultimately I was a bit disappointed because the pasta was cooked too al dente for me so it was on the firmer side. As for seasoning, I consider this to be one of the most important details/components of pasta and for me it was lacking in this dish. There was not enough salt and I had to add chili flakes to give it some more flavor, I've honestly had better spicy vodka pastas elsewhere. This may be a dish that is overhyped in my opinion. -Italian Sundae; the dessert was actually quite exceptional here, featuring a sundae with homemade Blue Bell vanilla ice cream, extra virgin olive oil, chopped pistachios, fresh whipped cream, and sea salt, I highly recommend ordering this if you have a sweet tooth but like a bit of savory in your dessert Ambiance: -A sleek and elegant design to their interior with intimate booths, full service bar, and patio dining Service: -The service definitely could've been better. We were waiting to give our order for quite a while when we sat down and then the waiter hardly came by to check in and see if we needed anything. Overall, some good options if you order certain things, but others were a miss.

We called ahead of time as Resy was glitching and were told that we could just walk in and likely wouldn't wait long. Arrived the host was helping someone with a takeout order. We waited. And waited. She never even looked at us or said. "Hi...just give me a minute and I'll be right with you.." 2nd host came to the counter (more than 5 minutes passed as we watched them buzz around and still not say hello). She finally looked up and said, "2"? Then seated us almost silently. We waited another 10 mins for someone to welcome us, say hi, or bring water, then a waiter appeared with a rushed, "Are you ready to order?" Umm....how about drinks? Specials? Anything?? We wanted a beer and were told the taps were empty and the only bottled option was Shiner. Rough start all around. Honestly, we were tempted to leave. It was that uncomfortable. We didn't. For the food: 1. Chopped salad was good, though it's not chopped at all, just a tossed salad. 2. Gnocci was delicious 3. Pizza was very tasty but the crust was strangely soggy/chewy. Maybe that's the style, but I kind of expected a bit of a crunch to it. The flavor all around was great. Our waiter disappeared (I'm assuming his shift ended?) without warning or letting us know someone else would step in. If I had to sum it up, it was almost like we were invisible the whole time we were there. Service can make or break an experience--it broke it for us. I'd consider trying the Richardson location in the future, but I think it'll be a while.
