Friendly staff, order steak under your temp I got a ribeye, i had asked if they could do it med rare and actually hit that temp, they weren't sure so i went with rare and ended up getting mid-rare which was what i wanted. Veggies were so overcooked they were mush. I would just skip veggies if you can and get something else as a side, even a second salad! Salad bar is basic but it fufilled my desire in salad. The buffet seemed dry and uninspired with limited food choices. I passed on it. Could be they were severely understaffed though as we were told 1 waitress was working the entire place herself with a hostess. The pizza was pretty decent, much better that i would have expected from a casino restaurant.

We went to a mother's day brunch at the Hon Dah Casino with friends who invited us. The brunch was in the Indian Pine Restaurant that is behind the casino. The restaurant is so beautiful and very clean. It had lovely paintings and carvings. It was very inviting. We were greeted and shown to a table. It took a while for someone to take our drink order and since we ordered alcohol, it came from the casino. I asked if they had a Prosecco but I got a blank stare, so I said any bubbly drink. She went to ask then, after a while l, came back and said they had a moscato which was the closest to my request. (?) I just got a glass of wine since my drink order seemed to be holding up everyone else's. We finally got drinks and decided to go get cheese and crackers for the table while we enjoyed the drinks but, by then, the guys were so hungry we all just went to get food. The food was ok. They had a beef Wellington, which I love, but I ended up with an end cut which was dry. The fish was ok but there was no potato crust. Just random, stray potatoes on top the fish. There were some tasty side dishes. The dessert bar was large including some sugar free desserts. I had a teeny slice of a couple pies. (Yes, Russ-all those PIES! :). I likes some more than others. They were as good as pies at other buffets I've had. I'm glad I got to try the buffets at Hon Dah. Maybe it was a bit busy since it was Mother's Day which may have affected service. I'm not really a fan of buffets so I doubt if I would go back.

The chicken wing were very good but certainly not worth over $16. This restaurant is very overpriced.

We took home a dozen wings again tonight and they were perfect. Half drums and wingetts. Cooked perfectly. U got it.

My husband and I went to try this on the fish Friday. We hadn't been here before and didn't realize when you arrive you have to put your name on a list to be seated. But a nice guest informed us. After we got our name on the list, we were seated pretty quickly and didn't have to wait long. The staff was really nice and the food was as good as we have been hearing about for years. We did the buffet and were glad that word of mouth has been so right. Everything was delicious. And for a buffet type restaurant, it wasn't very loud even though it was busy. We will definitely be back.

Good food at fair price. Salads are fresh. Burgers are enormous and fish fry has 5 large pieces.

Not a single smile in the place from employees. I'm sorry I didn't get the names of the two people who were at least helpful.

A little advice: if you are going for breakfast, arrive early--especially on a weekend. Darbi's gets busy! But whether you are waiting for breakfast or lunch, trust me, it is worth it. The portions are enormous, the food is excellent, and this team clearly knows how to serve a crowd. They have the whole operation dialed in. The restaurant itself is adorable, full of personality, and has the kind of lively, welcoming atmosphere that makes a meal feel like part of the vacation. For lunch, Dan ordered the Monte Cristo, served on a French toast bun with raspberry compote for dipping. It was sweet, savory, crispy, and absolutely delicious. We shared it, of course! I ordered the green chile cheeseburger, and it was packed with flavor. Breakfast was a whole adventure. We ordered one cinnamon roll to share, not realizing it was approximately the size of four normal cinnamon rolls! We both laughed, cut ourselves a slice, and immediately asked for a box. It was warm, ooey-gooey perfection, loaded with cinnamon and butter and covered in cream cheese frosting. Honestly, it may have been the best cinnamon roll I have ever eaten. As though that were not enough, we had also ordered a side of bacon--four generous slices--and full breakfasts. We both chose the prime rib Benedict, and it was incredible. The eggs were large and beautifully colored, the English muffin was tender, the sauce was just right, and the hash browns had that perfect crispy crunch. Needless to say, we did not finish everything at either meal. Darbi's definitely believes in leftovers! The prices were very reasonable, and the waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming during both visits. Between the huge portions, creative dishes, fun atmosphere, and outstanding food, Darbi's is a must for breakfast or lunch in Pinetop. Go hungry, arrive early, and save room in the car for your leftover boxes!

Smells of scratch cooking welcome you as you walk in with smiles and the usual knickknacks for purchase to commemorate your trip abound. Seated outside and received our drinks quickly from our buss boy. Waiter arrived and took our order as the menu is large but it's got the staples if you're a breakfast fan it doesn't take long to decide. My buddy went with an omelet hash browns extra crispy w/ pancakes and myself the sausage link with over medium eggs home fries and toast. Large portions force you to take food to make decisions, over indulge, leave it behind, or take it to go. Thankfully we elected to leave it behind though it was all extremely delicious! We were given our check with no rush to leave but the travel plans had just begun so it was perfect. On our way out we just missed a rush as there was a line out the door so our 9:30am arrival was fortunate and awesome though we had no idea it would be. Definitely worth a morning breakfast if you're in this area!

I tried the honey matcha one day and returned another morning for a sugar-free caramel iced coffee. Both were excellent! Finding coffee in Arizona that truly impresses me is not always easy--but Cyclelogical Coffee absolutely delivered! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the shop had such a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Several people were working on their laptops while enjoying their drinks, making it a great spot to relax, catch up on work, or simply plan your next Pinetop adventure. We also tried two of their breakfast burritos, and they were exactly what we needed before heading out for the day. They were big, tasty, filling, and reasonably priced--the perfect fuel for exploring the White Mountains! They also offer pastries, fun shirts, and even a few toys for the little ones in your life, so there is plenty to browse while you wait for your order. We were able to go around the building and park in a much larger lot used by the Showlow municipal complex. We came in a side door followed a party of three. Outstanding service! We were seated and the hostess took our drink orders. My wife wanted orange juice and she said they were out of OJ. We placed our orders. While we were waiting for our orders, the hostess came back over to tell us that they just got some Orange juice in. My wife ordered it and it was delivered a short time later. My wife liked her multi-grain pancakes. My omelette was good as were the new potatoes. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy had a very nice hint of black pepper in it.
