i have never written a review because i am simply not that person, however , this place was divine. our wait time was 30 minutes and we got seated in 5. The service was that of a fine dining restaurant with the FOH staff going above and beyond. You can tell they genuinely enjoy their position. The food was extremely delicious and portions were huge. if the price scares you away, then please reconsider as its 100000% worth it . The ingredients in both the pizza & pasta were incredibly fresh and you could taste the quality. BOH really knows how to cook!!!! My only dislike was I live 4 hours away from this place and cant go at least once a week! The restaurant was cute and ambiance was very chill and music wasn't too loud so you could hear your party. I am not sure why this place is so busy. We had to wait for about 30 minutes to get a table since they don't take reservations. While the place is lovely, the servers are clueless and we had a few of them come up during our dinner. I asked if there is any pasta made in house and she said she did not know so I asked if she could check with the kitchen. Turned out they make cannelloni and ravioli in house. They were out of cannelloni so we ordered ravioli and veal Parmesan. Veal Parmesan was too breaded and spaghetti and marina were simply not tasty. Ravioli on the other hand were very good. The Caesar salad was not worth the upgrade since the lettuce were somewhat wilted. read more

​How was the food? We'll never know​! We were a party of six and called ahead for a reservation, but our call was never returned. Deciding to give it a try anyway, we arrived at 4:30 p.m. and were third in line, waiting in the hot sun for the 5:00 p.m. opening. When the doors opened, we were told that of their 11 tables, the only one available was a table for four. The remaining tables had been reserved for parties of five or more. No alternative was offered--not even a later seating, assuming one existed. We left and went to El Charro Beer instead, where we were promptly seated despite having no reservation. We enjoyed excellent service, drinks, appetizers, entrees, desserts, and coffee--all for roughly one-third to one-half the cost per person of a single entree at The Pasta House. Another delicious dinner and great service at the Pasta House. They never fail when you need a dinner for a special occasion. Seated in the patio room provides the perfect ambience for a romantic dinner. Tonight I started with the extra dirty martini and blue cheese olives, we shared the calamari and the sauce is divine-perfect for dipping your bread in, followed by the Caesar salad, then the Veal Saltimbocca-that basil sauce and of course we had to finish with bananas foster and the chocolate torte. Trisha was the worst server I've had in a very long time. She took our order and never returned. The rest of the staff was amazing. Nice ambience and staff were pleasant. Food left much to be desired. The pesto pizza was a bobli crust from the supermarket with a pile of melted cheese. Pesto sauce was nonexistent. Pasta House is a charming little restaurant in Pinetop! Service was friendly and attentive. Entrees come with light, flavorful garlic bread. Everyone in my party of 7 enjoyed their meals. I had the scallop special with garlic linguini. Scallops were buttery and perfectly cooked. Noodles had a nice spoonful of sliced roasted garlic on them. Very yummy! OMG!!! If I could give 10* I would! Absolutely amazing...ambiance, service, food, drinks & desserts, ALL OF IT!! We're only in town for 2 nights but I have a feeling we'll be back tomorrow night! There weren't many restaurants open on a Tuesday night and boy am I glad because that led us here! My husband got the sausage/spaghetti combo & I got the Ziti, both were sooo good! Large portions to have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The house salad & the large portion of garlic bread was excellent! The martinis and Mexican Coffee were the best! The pasta was phenomenal, and that is what truly carries this review. I got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and my fiancée got the aglio. It was delish. The Alfredo sauce is real authentic -- don't expect the garlic of an Olive Garden sauce. The aglio had a large amount of fresh garlic, which we were very pleased with. They serve free garlic bread at the table that was warm, soft and flavorful. We requested olive oil and balsamic, and that wish was granted. We tried the tiramisu for dessert, and my partner, who's Italian was a little underwhelmed, but it was tasty. My partner had a strong lemon drop martini that she gave 3/5 stars bc she likes hers sugary. But if you like strong alcohol taste she'd say 5/5. We waited an hour and 45 minutes for a table but it was New Year's Eve. It is a smaller place -- a cute house -- so call and make a reservation. The staff, with one exception, was very kind and warm and accommodating. We were happy with their service! The older woman on staff made a rude comment while we were waiting for a table, that the other staff members were quick to correct. Kudos to them for their hospitality. When seated, the older woman had warm conversation with every table but ours -- could just be that we're "out of towners". We have a cabin here, and will be back, so maybe next time the vibe will switch up and we'll earn her warmth. read more

Let me say Wow! If you love pasta, steak and seafood then you have to try this place. Not only all their sauces are made in- house but so are all their pasta. The pasta was so good, definitely can tell it's homemade. Just has a different texture and beautiful taste. They have a great selection of wines and cocktails. They start you out with some warm savory garlic bread. It's a small cute place in a home setup. Feels like a homey family feel and the staff are so friendly and service was spectacular. I will definitely come back. For dessert we got the Banana Foster (to die for) and the crème Brûlée. I have not one negative or improvement to add. read more

Staff is efficient, friendly and work as a team! The service was top notch. Seating is limited and they don't take reservations, unless there are five or more in your party. Be there by 4:45 if you want to be seated at 5:00 when they open, or your name will go on a wait list. The restaurant is not real big so it might get loud as the tables are pretty close together. Pasta house is a little gem. Menu has many options.. we tried the squash ravioli for an app, Yum. Their house salads were fresh, and one step above your average HS. Everyone's pasta and chicken dishes were tasty and prepared perfectly. The comp garlic bread soft and tasty. And their version of Alfredo sauce was the Best I've ever had, (they put fresh herbs in it, and I don't order that sauce, there was some on the app. I travel A LOT, love finding good places to eat, and I will return to Pasta House when I have the chance. I've had so many amazing dishes here, from shrimp to a basic Alfredo. The pink sauce here is so good I could drink it. Lol! The garlic bread, WOW. The best damn garlic bread that exists. I love that it's an old house and the dim lighting and table are always so cute. The service is hit or miss sometimes and my husband and I always think the cause is our age. We look fairly young comapred to the clientele that you see in there a mass majority of the time. We always see everyone chit chatting and so attentive to the older couples, but we kinda get left around for the most part. Nothing horrid of course, but something we've noticed in the past! This past weekend three couples went to the Pasta House and we could not have had a better meal or better service on the mountain! All three of the men in the group got the special of the scallops...my goodness...that was perfection. I got the pasta combo..Manacotti, stuffed shells and lasagna and the other women got chicken marsala and eggplant parmesan. We all got the ceasar salad, which was a slight upcharge but so worth it! Our wait staff included the following..Trish, Bella, Kyri,Trace, and Brynna. You may ask...why so many staff coming to our table. Well, they all just work so well together and they keep their eyes on EVERY TABLE in the restaraunt so no one is really waiting for anything. What a tremendous team! We have eaten there in the past and really enjoyed our meal. But the last time we were there the pasta sauce was very spicey. It tasted like red pepper flakes were dumped in it. Amazing food and service We've been going here for years! It's a must when you're in the mountains! They desperately need to change their reservation policy The "five or more" need to be there at 5 o'clock and all parties present or they lose their table. We sat down last time and two different parties sat down at two different tables set for six. Only four members of their party were present. The restaurant had to turn away two other parties of two. After a half hour, and the folks of both the tables of four have their cocktails, they tell the staff that unfortunately their fifth person was not going to be able to join them. I came here while visiting showlow, and this was probably my least favorite meal. Walking in, I love the cozy house vibe... but a lot seemed to fall short from there. The bread seemed to lack flavor and was cold (maybe supposed to be that way?). I ordered Alfredo as a side to maybe having something hit opposing the cold bread and felt the same, it was thin with a lot of flavor to be desired. For a meal, my friend and I split the bolognese. I'd say we ate under half of it. I'm not sure what it was but definitely wouldn't call it a traditional bolognese which I should have come to that conclusion when you could choose with or without meat. 3.7/5 stars The Pasta House restaurant is in an old house so you are seated in various rooms. They have a few parking spots on the side of the restaurant and a large gated parking area in back. We were greeted immediately, taken to a table and given menus. We passed other rooms and they were all beautiful. The ambiance is a casual elegance. The only negative was that it was chilly. They said the restaurant is closed all day so it gets cold. They opened the windows to allow it to warm. They need to warm the rooms with a small room heater before paying guests arrive. The menu has many options and they have a large wine selection and a martini menu. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer. My husband chose penne and meat sauce and I decided on lasagna. They brought bread-soft with a garlic herb spread that was quite good. The calamari had a crispy breading that was perfect. The marinara dipping sauce was delicious. The entrees came. The penne was warm but not hot. The lasagna had been in the oven and was sizzling. The meat sauce that was on the penne wasn't near as good as the marinara that cake with the calamari. The lasagna had slices of mozzarella melting that had a weird flavor. I love cheese but it was so strange that I took it off and put it on the side. I wasn't a fan of the lasagna. We took the rest of the meal home (including the cheese I scraped off) and the penne was better hot. The lasagna was tossed out. We would probably go back again and try different entrees. read more

I've never been to a place with quicker service than Pasta house. The prices are a little on the higher end. the pasta combo I had was great, bread was good, I would say they need to up their salad game to match their prices. Love that there were lots of vegetarian options. read more
