If you're interested in a quite, family campground with clean restrooms and showers then this is absolutely not the place for you! There are a few new policies in place that appear to be a well kept secret among the park employees. One policy is you must have an armband on to ride the ferry to the amusement park. The armbands can only be obtained the day of use. So if you arrive on Friday evening and want to stroll through the park you can't. Unless you asked for an armband, which no one tells you that it's needed for the ferry ride. Oh and you'll have to wait in line each day for an armband for either the day pass to the ferry and all the rides or a park pass that allows you on the ferry and in the park. The campsites are small and it's a little difficult to tell what the parameters are. There is a quite time, apparently only for the management and security people because you, the camper won't find them anywhere. But don't worry, it gets quite around 2:30 am. Well mostly quite. They offer a laundry. Nasty comes to mind... The restrooms and showers are disgusting. Toilet paper, trash, used bandaids, all over the floors, the urinal privacy/splash guards were barely hanging on the walls by the urine rotted metal brackets. And the worst for last... feces (smears and chunks) on the walls of at least one of the shower stalls. I gave it one star because the parks one saving grace is that there is a clearly marked exit!

This is the nicest thing gere

Despite it being Memorial Day weekend, the beach was closed and was gross, with visible green algae. The Shafer Queen was non-operational and under repair during our visit. We even heard from other guests that they had gotten stuck on a ride and had to climb down. The food was typical of an amusement park, mostly fried foods and desserts. Prices were high, but that is norm these days, unfortunately. Some of the positive experiences were firework show and the Haunted Frankenstein House (requires an additional charge) was definitely worth it. Overall, our visit was a disappointment. The park has not aged well and is in need of repairs, along with better staffing.

It was nostalgic you know but then every time you go back it's the same thing and I know it's got new owners, but basically it's the same thing after a couple hours. You're bored the rise are lackluster there's really no kids area. There's you know what 45 rides now I noticed since I haven't been there in a few years that the variety of food has changed. I'm not gonna say it was great, but it was better than what they had. I was really looking forward to that Italian restaurant but of course it wasn't even opened so I will probably wait a few more years to go back. There's just not enough there to make it exciting. I mean it's like once you've been there that's enough. I preferably would rather drive one extra hour cause it takes me about an hour and 10 minutes from where I live, I would rather go another extra hour to Muskegon, Michigan to Michigan's adventure now that place is worth the same price the Indiana Beach house but they have wave pools and they have wonderful rides and a rapids and I mean it's just you have a lot more to do there for the same price it's worth the extra hour drive!

We spend over $400 for all day rides, game passes and food. 75 percent of the rides were unmanned and we had to search for employees to start them for us. We missed our laser tag appointment because it took 45 minutes for us to get our food of 8 burger sliders. I noticed the same employees taking food orders and also running rides, and delivering food. One cook for dozens of orders they were extremely behind. The employees were rude and did not understand their own job. The food menu stated our slider platter came with fries. We showed them on the menu where it said served with fries. They argued with us that they followed a sheet that did not say that. She did not understand the concept of serving what was sold on the menu to the customers. Terrible service, terrible attitudes and extremely slow service, especially for a weekend when you would think they would have more people. I believe this is a company/management issue not so much an employee one. They were under trained and under staffed. We will spend our money elsewhere.
