My first time trying this place, I decided to share the Butter Chicken and the Chicken Korma, since those are easy staples that are hard to get wrong. I usually never write reviews for delivery food, but got on Yelp to say this was probably the best Indian food I've had in New York. There was a lot left to be desired with their delivery service (they came an hour late and left our food outside the building on the street), but the food definitely made up for it. They have a takeout deal for $18 for which you get an appetizer, a bread, and an entree. My husband and I got one of these each, and it was a great value meal. We had leftovers for the next day. He got the chicken tikka masala, with naan bread and vegetable samosas. The curry was perfectly cooked and very creamy, while the naan bread was soft and fresh with a pillowy texture. The vegetable samosas were flavoursome and perfectly cooked, soft on the outside with a crisp exterior. I got the vegetable pakoras with paratha and malai kofta. Everything I had was phenomenal but especially the malai kofta. My husband ate from this place twice in one week, it was so good. I have only ever gotten delivery but it's consistently delicious. This has been my go to place for over a year. They have excellent basics like the Saag Paneer, Butter chicken, and Chicken Tikka Masala and their Naan is nice and fluffy, Peshwari Naan and Cheese Tomato Naan are my favorites. I always get the Aloo Papri Chaat app, it a mix of deliciousness and it's vegetarian. For something different get the Chicken Gassi, it's amazing and pretty spicy. I've also had all the dessert and Lassis, they are all good but the Gulab Jamun is my favorite. Would love to actually eat at the restaurant one day, it look nice from the photos. read more

Really good food. I ordered the take out deal with fish tikka and chicken korma and the food came hot. The naan was huge and soft and absolutely delicious. There was also a side of kheer which was nice and not overly sweet like indian deserts tend to be. I do wish there were more than 2 pieces of fish tikka because I enjoyed it so much but I was told it was gonna be a small portion when I ordered so I appreciate that. There were a few solid cashew pieces in the gravy which I thought would be blended but the taste was so good and creamy that I just chewed the pieces up. Will be ordering again ! read more

We ordered the following from Indika via Uber eats this evening: 1. Paneer Tikka Entree: The serving was comically small for starters. We thought maybe it's a Michelin rated restaurant and hence the small serving size, which got us excited. But then we started to dig into the entree and found that the paneer was so hard it could be used as a foundation to build a 4th bridge between Manhattan and Brooklyn. The toughness of the paneer was probably the reason why they skimped on the paneer quantity in the entree. Maybe they want to build two bridges? My son took a bite of that paneer and he's still chewing it, 30 mins later. The gravy has so much color that my wife decided to dip all her nails and get her nail paint done. Now she's booking a nail spa appointment to get rid of the color. 2. Garlic Naan: Probably the only restaurant that uses rubber to make naan. 3. Peshawari Naan: It's supposed to have nuts, there were none. Also, they used the same rubber that was left over after making the garlic naan. 4. Onion Kulcha: They used the remaining rubber they had to make this naan. In short, indians - please stay away from this restaurant if you are craving indian food. Non-indians, this food isn't representative of Indian food at all, not even close. Just find something else. read more

Ordered from IH through Door Dash while on vacation. We ordered chicken tiki masala, Gobi Manchurian, the Indika mixed platter and two orders of Naan (regular and garlic). Everything was tasty, but the Gobi Manchurian was the star of the show. It had some heat, but was excellent. Would love to get it in the restaurant so the outside is still crispy. The tiki masala had good balance of flavor, richness and spice. We are still working our way through the Indika platter, but it was all good, especially the shrimp. There is a lot of food in the platter - good value. Our only complaint is the naan was tough, tasty but tough. Worth trying again if we return to Brooklyn. read more
