Indochino is certainly worth checking out if you have the time, patience, and are looking for a high quality suit. I went for a wedding consultation and was very satisfied with the service. The consultants greeted me with a warm welcome, checked me in, and even offered me water. The consultant was very personable offering up suggestions and options for every option of the suit. You really get the ultimate tailoring experience as every little detail on your body is measured to ensure exact fit. Fortunately I knew exactly what I needed to order because I was given a specific instructions from the groom. But even at certain points during the consultation, I was informed there are parts of the order that were meant for my input and customization. I'm glad that was pointed out or else I would have had another name stitched on my jacket. The suit came in about 3 weeks! Overall excellent experience and highly recommend for all if you are willing to spend a little more for a tailored, form fitting suit with all the bells and whistles. read more

Do NOT use Indochino for a suit if you don't have at least 3 full months for them to get it right, find it when they lose it, don't have it tailored when you show up for an appointment when they've said it's done, can't get simple tailoring right, don't call back, ETC ETC ETC!!! My daughter's fiancé made the mistake of having 8 groomsmen (in various states), plus himself, all purchase a suit from Indochino. A NIGHTMARE for all but one person. Literally, until the DAY BEFORE the wedding, we didn't know if one of the suit jackets AND the groom's vest would be there for the wedding. I cannot figure out if the staff in various stores are all incompetent, the systems are inadequate, the company is having growing pains, the internal communication is non-existant, or just what the overall issue is. ONCE you go through the journey of frustration, anxiety, irritation, anger, disbelief, etc. you do end up with a good product in spite of the company. I had scheduled my measuring appointment for 2pm 15JUN. I was traveling to the area just for the weekend from Norfolk, VA. My wife and I did significant planning around this appointment due to our short time in DC. We arrived at 1:55pm and were told that appointments would be delayed as a number of stylists had called out sick. We were instructed to have a seat and wait for one to be available. I asked the representative (Christian) if there was a new estimated time and he became extremely flustered and rude with me. I explained our situation--that we could not wait all day for this--and he said 30min, and proposed that we leave and return at 2:30pm. No problem, I thought, as this gave us time to do some other shopping and return for measurements at 2:30pm. We returned at 2:25pm and I could tell that Christian was doing his best to ignore me. I eventually had to walk up to him directly and make sure he was aware of our return. At this point he admitted that there were now 4 new people in front of me and that I was somehow now behind these newcomers, despite a) having had an appointment that was b) already delayed, and c) returning for the delayed appointment precisely as instructed! I asked, "What now?" and was offered a firm opening at 5pm. Miraculously this actually fit within our daily plans so I agreed to this. I returned as instructed at 5pm and was AGAIN informed that I could not be seen at this time. Worse, Christian claimed that we had never spoken before, despite having had 2 distinct interactions with him that day. He went as far as to accuse me of lying about having been in the store earlier that day, and doubted my story and the validity of my frustration. I was eventually seen at 5:20pm by Miles, who was excellent and apologetic. What is even more aggravating is that, on further questioning, apparently ALL appointments for the day had been delayed due to the stylists calling out sick. My appointment was for 2pm, and the store opened at 10am, but no one called to advise us of this. We could have at least worked around the delay if an effort had been made to inform us at the time that it became clear that I could not be seen at 2pm. I got my measurements done, but at this point I am not going to give this company any of my money. This interaction left such a sour taste in my mouth that wearing a suit with the Indochino brand will just remind me of this awful experience and waste of time. read more

Wish I could give zero stars. We made an appointment for my fiancé's suit. As soon as we checked in, one of the two employees working there sat with her arms crossed and completely dismissed us, saying there is nothing for us to look at. the other employee straight up scoffed at us when we said we needed a suit for an event more than a month out. I understand that the suits are made to measure and that it may take three weeks, but this is definitely not how you treat a customer. I have never seen customer service as terrible as this one. This is the worst place on earth! They ruined my wedding. My brother went to get a suit four months before the big day and got it in, fit nicely, went in for the complementary fitting, they offered to altered it a bit to give it a perfect fit. Also, we unfortunately were 5 mins late to our initial appt so they made us wait 1 hour. Two weeks before the wedding, they called us to tell us that they couldn't find the suit. We panicked and they said not to worry, Miles is on it. Another week passes by, my brother receives a call to say his suit is ready for pick up. He goes there and guess what?! SUIT IS MISSING! It disappeared. So without if offering any alternatives or explanations or looking into the matter, they refunded us and said "we can go to Hugo boss and get something off the rack"... how is this place still open for Business!!!! How is Miles still employed? Along with Emily. She was the rudest person I had every met. There was no remorse or sympathy at all but instead threatened to call security if we didn't leave since she refunded us. Three days before my wedding, my brother, the brother of the bride, has no suit. We had to spend double the money (way out of our budget, thank you indochino for doing that btw! I really enjoyed having to cancel my live violinist to make sure my brother had a tux to wear to my reception) and be embarrassed. Do not go to this hell hole. Extremely bad costumer service! I had a wedding consultation appointment at this Indochino because I plan on buying a custom suit for my wedding and wanted to check the place out before purchasing. The person who first greeted me took my name and then told me it would be just a min. A few minutes later, I heard the same person yell at someone. I was thinking it was another employee, but then found out that he was yelling at another costumer. I stayed and went through with my appointment anyway. Throughout the entire appointment, we (my fiancé and I) felt dismissed. We would ask questions and he quickly gave us an extremely short answer and then he would look away from us. At one point, he replied to a text and had a short texting conversation while he was "helping" us in my appointment. I had to ask him 3 different times which fabric was which, because he completely blew off and ignored our questions. I don't know if he didn't want to help us because I wasn't planning on buying at that appointment, or what, but he definitely ensured that I will NOT be purchasing my suit from this location. If I would have had good costumer service, I would have been purchasing my suit from them, not anymore. read more

I knew I wanted to move beyond off-the-rack, so I researched made-to-measure and bespoke suits. After reading a number of reviews, I selected Indochino; I wasn't disappointed. I went to the Tyson's store, where I met Emely. She and her staff did a great job of fitting me for eight shirts, a sports coat, and two suits. I've ordered two suits from online that my friend measured me for and they came in great. I went Into the store to get measured for a tuxedo by what are supposed to be professionals and it was a total disaster. The tux came and I couldn't even get my arms in it. It was like they sent the wrong jacket. I had a week before the wedding so i took it to the store to get it altered. They said their policy was two weeks but because of the situation the manager would get it done. He said he would call me if there was an issue. I went to pick it up a week later and it hadn't even been touched. It's so small there is no way I could wear it. The manager is worthless saying they could get it done this week, like I can just get them to move the wedding. I went to Nordstrom's and got hooked up in 30 minutes. My husband picked out his material and asked her if they could finish his appointment. She let him know that she was busy and could know longer help him since his appointment time had expired! Suit took 2 weeks to arrive. No the fit neither pants nor jacket. Alterations would take another 2-3 weeks. They did offer me the option of a local tailor and they would reimburse me. I should have done that. Unpleasant experience despite the decent price. Update: I heard from indochino and they cleared up the process of the first fitting. I was unaware of their timeline requirements and was told that the first fitting would require alterations after which the next purchase would be correct out of the box. Worst Retail Experience Ever. My daughter's Groomsmen and I all ordered custom-made suits for her wedding through Indochino. Initial fitting experience went okay (after being ignored for a while despite having made an appointment). But weeks later when the suit arrived - it was AWFUL. Jacket didn't fit right. Sleeves were more than two inches too long. Back was wrinkled from collar too low. And worst of all, one pants leg was more than an inch and a half shorter than the other! Ridiculous! Couldn't get a "final walk through" appointment to attempt to have the suit corrected in time, so had to pay another tailor to try and fix it. Turns out almost every suit we ordered was equally disastrous! Wrote a scathing letter to CEO which naturally has received NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. Never again. Total disaster. read more

The suit I received from Indochino fit so poorly that I could barely get the pants over my knees. I have no idea how that happened since I was measured in store at Tyson's corner. I even took it to an expensive tailor, but was turned away because there was nothing that he could do to salvage the suit. I reached out for help from Indochino, but was also turned away because it was outside of time allowed in the company's "fit promise." So, now I have an expensive pile of unwearable cloth. The process of buying a suit from this Indochino storefront has been inconvenient, frustrating, and, so far, unsuccessful. Indochino's responsive online customer service and the store's selection of fabrics redeem it somewhat, but not enough. I bought a suit here because it was $100-200 less than other online MTM competitors like Black Lapel or Oliver Wicks (and also because Indochino had a brick-and-mortar storefront nearby), but at this point (on my third re-make, each iteration a 3-4 week process) I'd rather have paid more for a company that would get it right on the first try. read more

My husband and his groomsmen had a great experience and loved their suits for the wedding. In fact, he loves the shirt so much that I wanted to order him more of the custom shirts for a holiday present. Negative review comes from a rude and impatient sales person I interacted with over the phone trying to figure out the best way to get his measurements (and still have a surprise gift). I was slightly confused by the process and felt like the person on the phone was exacerbated with me when asking for clarification. As someone who worked in retail, I know this is a busy time of the year and answering phone inquiries can be stressful; however, I only took 1 minute of her time, which is not much to ask. Overall, I think they're very unorganized at this store. We called to make sure the suit was ready for his appointment before showing up, they said yes. We showed up, and the suit was nowhere to be found. They pulled out someone else's suit and then realized that ours hadn't even been touched. I got my measurement done in this store. However, the suit came out as a botch. It's way too tight, and shoulder divot is so seriously my mind can't even comprehend the situation. I mean seriously? It's either the guy who measured me screwed up or it's the indochino factory in China screwed up. Either way indochino screwed up on me. I'll probably try to salvage what I can by visiting the store for alternation and remake, however if the remake came out as sh$t again then this will be my only purchase and I'll make sure to spread the words about my experience among my friends and internet because no one needs to go through the same horrible experience as I did, and worst of all, for lots of money. Btw I ordered a so called "premium" fabric, and the quality looks average at best. Guys try Oliver wicks or black lapel before this brand, they are more expensive but probably for a good reason. don't repeat my mistake! Update: I just received the remake. First, I ordered a full remake of the suit, as in jacket and pants since I have returned the first suit in its entirety to the showroom. However, the remake came with only the jacket. Moreover, the jacket still doesn't fit at all. The shoulder divot is still very prominent, jacket is still way too tight and I can't see or feel any improvement from the first jacket. When I redid my measurement at the showroom, the staff who took my measure did a fairly well job and was patient. I'm relatively confident that the measure he took was correct, and suit my needs. However, given how bad the jacket turned out again, it's apparent that indochino manufacturer in China didn't give a cr@p about the measurement, they probably just picked a random returned jacket which they figured kinda fit me and mailed that out. I'm throughly disappointed with indochino and will not ever order from them again. And like I addressed before, I'll spread the word about my experience so people can make intelligent decision for themselves. read more

Given the negative reviews, on Yelp, I was hesitant to plunk down a few hundred bucks for two suits. I'm sorry that other folks have had a negative experience, but I really love the way my suits came out. Fit great right out of the gate. The gent who measured me (Brian?) was very professional and was spot on with the measurement. Wasn't crazy about the customer service with the saleswoman who helped me pick out fabrics (seemed pretty bored and disengaged from the whole interaction), but this was a minor ding on the overall experience. I drove over 30 minutes to visit the Tyson's Corner Virginia Indochino store and when I arrived the store was completely empty with no customers. There were 6 total employees in the store standing around a computer and having a casual conversation. They did not greet me when I walked into the store. I asked to be helped and the group of employees responded "do you have an appointment?" I replied "no" and that "I was interested in purchasing a black suit." They replied "I am sorry, we are only helping customers with appointments." I responded that "the store was completely empty and there were no customers - and with 6 employees on staff they should be able to at least assist me in some way." The staff declined to help me without an appointment and said I would need to come back another time. There is a SuitSupply in the same building in the Tysons Corner Mall. SuitSupply welcomed me into the store with a friendly greeter which assigned me a tailor and helped me pick out the perfect suit. I was fitted and on my way in under 10 minutes. Overall, the Indochino customer service was terrible and I would never return to the store after being treated with total disregard- even as the only customer in an empty store which was over-staffed. The Indochino website clearly states: "Do you take walk-ins? Of course!" - I would recommend avoiding this location. read more

Terrible customer service. I made an appointment for a "wedding consultation" today just to view fabric for tuxedos. First strike, I walked into the store to checkin and I wasn't in their system for an appointment even though I showed them the confirmation email. Second strike, they made me wait 10 min even though only one other customer was there. Third strike, when I was approached by an employee, they told me to come back and make a "real" reservation online to look at fabric and get my measurements done. I told them I wanted to just view the fabric. They quickly walked me over to the tuxedo fabric section, and didn't offer any comments. This was the worst shopping experience I have ever had. I ordered a suit back on Black Friday and after 3 months of continued improper fittings and failed promises I just got my full refund on the suit. Attention to details was another issue. I had noticed a stitch mark on my suit which I asked to be removed, when I came back after the alterations were done the stitch mark was still there with the gray chalk still circling it. I also found the employees to be rude, it felt as if I was an inconvenience and they were rolling their eyes the whole time. I never write reviews, I never go out of my way to criticize a company. My initial suiting and measurement appointment was easy to schedule and a pleasant experience overall. I was told to expect my suit within two to three weeks and then call the showroom (Tysons VA location) for an alteration appointment. I received my order within the expected timeframe, but I am having extreme difficulty scheduling my alterations appointment and had to deal with a very unhelpful and borderline rude employee over the phone. I explained that there seemed to be a lot of availability for suiting weekend appointments but no availability for alterations on the weekend. Something did not add up with the online appointment booking system. I asked when a weekend appointment would become available and I was told that there was no availability at all for the foreseeable future. I was told that I was out of luck unless I made a weekday appointment. I am unable to come on weekdays. The employee said that if he needed a suit then he would make the time on the weekdays. Ridiculous thing to say to a customer. No explanation regarding why there appeared to be so many time slots available for an initial suiting appointment and none available for altering my first suit order. Looks like there is a desire to get the customer in the door to make a non refundable order and then the customer never again receives any level of courtesy or help from the showroom staff. I have read many negative complaints about this showroom and its employees. I decided to give it a chance and see for myself. My initially pleasant experience is slowly becoming a disaster like many others have experienced. This is unacceptable and I expect to receive much better service from a company that claims to pride itself on first class service. read more

I had a very frustrating experience with indochino. Went to the store to get a suit for my wedding. I was going out of town and we told indochino when we needed the suit by and they assured us it would be no problem, so I got the suit fitted. We got the suit mailed to our apartment in reasonable time, and I tried it on when I got back into town. The pants lengths were different and the suit jacket did not fit right- I think the shoulders were too narrow. But that's fine, it was a custom suit but I'm sure it's normal to need alterations. We tried setting up an appt online but the all the slots were full, but we tried calling in because we were assured we could get the suit done in time. So we called into the store to try to schedule an alteration. It was very difficult to get someone on the other end; many times the phone went to voicemail- their voicemail box is full so I can't leave a message. Twice I was put on hold then hung up on. When we finally got on the phone when someone, we were told that alterations would be 10-14 days, which wouldn't be in time for the wedding. We called in again and were told to just come in and we would be taken care of. So we came in and the person we worked with was apologetic. He marked the alterations and assured us getting my suit in time for the wedding would be no problem. He told me the alterations would be done no later than Monday- I believe I went in on a Wednesday. That seemed reasonable- I asked if I could make an appt for Monday, but he assured him that I didn't need to and gave me his phone number and told me to just text him to set up the appointment. I texted him later to confirm the Monday appointment and he didn't reply. I texted him again a couple days later and he responded that he wouldn't be in the store on Monday. I asked if it was still okay to go in and get the suit and he never responded. So I go in on Monday and the suit is not ready. I ask when it would be completed and was told it would be done by the end of the day. I ask if there was a rush shipping option in case the suit didn't fit, and the employee I spoke to at the store seemed to be offended that I would suggest a suit wouldn't fit and responded sharply. I was told they would call me when the suit was ready. Later, as it was nearing the close of store hours, I tried calling in, but again was unable to reach anyone. I must have called at least 7 times. The next day around 2pm we get an email saying my suit is ready. I go in, and try on the suit but am told if I didn't have an appointment, I would have to wait to be seen after the other customers, which is a reasonable store policy but didn't make sense to be in light my situation. I expected some sort of communication between store employees, I guess. So I tried on my suit again and the suit jacket still didn't fit and the markings from the previous fitting were still on the pants leg and the pants legs were still off (also, how was a suit made with unequal pant lengths in the first place? Seems a very basic thing to verify). I ask to just speak to someone, but it is at least an hour until someone is free to speak to me. I explain the situation, and the employee confirmed that the suit jacket didn't fit and that they neglected to fix or even look at the pants length discrepancy. At this point I am fairly frustrated so I ask if I can just return the suit because I don't feel I can trust indochino to get my suit done before the wedding. The employee I talked to was apologetic and did the refund. I walked out of the store without a suit, and now I have to get another one with a wedding in 4 days. In summary, had a frustrating experience with indochino. They were difficult to get ahold of, promises were made and not kept, the employees didn't seem to communicate with each other about situations, etc. Ultimately, I am left without a suit 4 days before my wedding, and could not trust indochino to rectify the situation which is the main frustration. read more
