I am writing as I am very frustrated with how my entire suiting experience with Indochino went from very beginning. Before I write anything, I belong to the service industry myself and there is no way that I would handle a matter like Indochino has with 0 accountability and probably the worst service ever. From the very beginning when I went to give my measurements the person who was taking the measurements did not listen to me several times. When he took measurements of my chest I told him that he is going way beyond my actual size and he replied in manner which basically meant that he knows my body better than me or I have never worn a suit before. Hence, when the suit came after stitching it could fit one and a half person of my size easily. Somehow alterations for the first time took way more time in which the suit was stitched and even they were not accurate and I had to argue with the tailor and the staff to get the desired alterations done. Why do you have staff that acts like they know better about what fits you and how is your body than you? What kind of an offensive training and approach is this to the customer? Does your company even realize how offensive it is to behave this way with regular people let alone customers? Finally, why did I have to argue with the tailor multiple times to have the desired alterations done? If you think it ends here it does not. When finally everything was ready, I go tot the outlet to pick up my clothes and I do not know how but somehow the staff misplaced my vest and I in a hurry did not even check what was packed and left. Went to the cleaner to find out that it is not a 3 piece but a 2 piece suit right now. I came home and checked everywhere but the vest was no where to found. I checked in my closets, laundry bags, car and parking but could not find it. Called them and no one responded. No one even called back. So, I had to drive again. When I went there they could not find it and gave me several excuses of what might have ended up happening. At the end of the business day I get an email from their staff saying that they have decided to refund m e the amount for the vest and that's all. Do you even know how offensive that is? Do you think I am greedy that I need your money? I need what I paid for and if you cannot do that take your entire order back. What is this insult? I am not going to let my $600+ go to waste like this on such a terrible experience like that and I am posting this review of them everywhere so as man y people can know about this and avoid this brand entirely as this is the lowest of the low of services and very low of a brand to treat their customers like they do not matter at all. I am also complaining about this formally to the company and if an appropriate action is not taken I will push this even further. This whole experience has ruined my best friend's wedding and the chance for me to participate in it comfortably and I will make sure that I make this known to as many people as I can. UPDATE: After contacting the customer service several times my issue still hasn't been resolved. The last time I spoke to a representative he told me that the case has a memo that says the District Manager has reached out to you which is absolutely not the case. No one has reached out to me. Neither any sort of resolution has been offered by them for the piece of my suit that their staff misplaced. UPDATE 2: The customer service of INDOCHINO is a joke and keeps on wasting my time even more. I have filed a complaint against the this branch on their website but absolutely no one has contacted me. They keep on closing the case on their own without even offering me any resolution and I keep reopening it. I got tired today and reached out to the facebook page and they told me go contact the shop. The shop never picks up the phone and when I go there everyone over there acts clueless. I do not have time to waste to drive to Tysons. I will rather drive to a consumer court lawyer and let them figure this out with Indochino. ATTACHING SOME OF THE SCREENSHOTS

I gave Indochino the benefit of the doubt. Terrible reviews but any company that wants to survive in retail should heed complaints and improve. So I went ahead and bought a 3 piece suit. The first time i got it, everything was off. The jacket sleeves were too long, the jacket length was too long and the pants were 3 whole inches long. I'm NOT an amateur suit shopper, I specifically told the specialists every detail I wanted. 1/8 inch cuff, no break, length down to middle of palms, slim through torso, etc. I had to drive 2 hrs back to this location because they did not provide free return shipping for problems they f***ed up on. After receiving it back, I look like an even bigger clown. Check the photos. $600 down the drain. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

We had an appointment on the end of June at 2pm. My fiancé and my son. Of course we had to wait over an hour. My fiancé had specific ways he wanted the suit tailored. We spent almost 3 hours. Two suits were ordered. I did not order any for my son, due to the half ass way the lady measured him Rick did the measuring FYI My fiancé's suits came in and he looks like he is wearing his Fathers suit, pants not tailored, too long. The jacket was sooo long, sleeves past wrists! Both suits awful! We went back into this store and the manager was so rude. Looking down at her screen. We were just asking a simple questions that she had no time for. Now we have to return, re-measure because no refund! Awful! This was to be his wedding suit, now we have to start all over. Don't USE THIS COMPANY

Store isn't open for my 11am appointment.

The closest comparison I have is Chico's, though this place is independent and the style is artsier. The pieces here are flattering and designed to be both fun but functional/practical, which I appreciate. I see a lot of pieces I think my mom would adore. That said I have, at 33, found that there is one brand there in particular - Ciara Sun Woo - that is ideal for young professionals and I have bought two of this designer's dresses on sale. They use high tech fabrics that are curve flattering and the perfect balance between clingy and drapey, and also they are super work appropriate but can often go day to night and come in nuanced solid colors. The prices on accessories are very reasonable and the clothing, while a little pricey, comes from smaller lesser known brands and they also have good sales. The staff is very friendly and helpful and it's never crowded so you can shop at a leisurely pace. The only flaw is is the location in the Metro mall and I worry about how well any of the businesses are doing in there. I never go into that mall anymore and sometimes forget this shop is there but when I do remember I think, "oh yeah! That place is great I should stop in." So if you're in Rosslyn check it out and support one of the few remaining small businesses in an increasingly corporate, sterile neighborhood.

They also offer a great selection of unique gifts and other special items that you can't find at the countless big box stores that have taken over almost everywhere else here now. It's like visiting...Etsy...in person. If such a store existed of course. Obviously only a very very small, and very highly curated BIT of Etsy, but still...it's etsy-esque. In a good way. Well worth a visit. Especially for those "extra hard to shop for" and "already have everything" types. They're also great for the many miscellaneous gift needs that pop up throughout the year for coworkers and teachers and other people you might not know very well and whose gift options fall uncomfortably in between even the classiest target dollar bin options your best friends might love, and the fancier more expensive fare reserved for one's own children, close relatives, spouses... The "I don't really know what, but ideally something special and memorable and cool" gifts for all sorts of things like secret Santas, teacher appreciation, miscellaneous baby/bridal showers, office party exchanges, attempts to gain favor or acceptance from cringey or critical or perfectly lovely mother in laws...etc. This place is perfect for all of those and more. I've found awesome Christmas presents for my mother here two years in a row now, and many fun things for myself as well. Best boutique baby clothes section I've seen in the Arlington area, actually. Oh! And Scout bags galore!

We visited around the same time as the Westover Farmers Market, so the inside was a bit packed. At one point, we noticed the line going nearly outside the door--although it is a small location, so at least it moved relatively quickly. My order came fairly quick for the amount of people. However, my friend's order had a longer wait time despite being the same drink with only the milk substituted. We eventually asked the staff if the order was still coming through--they were very sweet, apologized for the wait, and quickly prepared the order. Unsure if maybe the order got lost in the shuffle, or perhaps someone else accidentally grabbed it, but it was nice that they quickly resolved the issue once it became known to them. The drink was okay, which I was fine with because the main appeal was supposed to be the Halloween-themed design. I realized too late that my drink didn't come with the chocolate syrup drizzled on top that others' did, which was unfortunate. The cafe was beautifully decorated, and it's clear that there was a lot of thought and heart put into the design. The shop was also nice to check out, with a great collection of items with a nice mission and message behind each product. However, it is a bit tight to go through the aisles when it is busy. I hope to visit again during a less crowded time to check out other seasonal treats they may have in the future!

When they moved to McLean earlier this year, I went with about 20 items to put up for consignment. (I had made appointment as they require.) I brought in beautiful clothes, in excellent condition. They took the boxes to the back to inspect the clothing and choose which they wanted to take for consignment; and while that was going on I browsed. I couldn't believe the downgrade in the clothing; while the quality was fine, I did not see anything stylish for sale. I was not even tempted to try anything on. After about 20 minutes the owner comes back and says she cannot take any of my items, although she would consider one in the fall (it was a spring/summer item, as were all the pieces, as this took place in mid-Spring) and I "could come back in a few months." Super dismissive and arrogant. The one good thing was the friendly young man at the counter, who I chatted with while I waited. I see the positive reviews here are years old, so here's an update: NTY management is just as or even more snobby now, the prices are even higher -- not just because of time passing but also likely the expensive location -- and they don't even have cool clothes any more.

New To You is more JCrew and higher-end items. Prices seemed to be about 50 percent off original retail. Could you find some of these items thrifting?
