My husband purchased two suits at the end of November and, more than two months later, still does not have a wearable product. We first came into the store to place the order, returned again for corrections when the initial suit arrived with severely uneven sleeves and disproportionate shoulder pads, and tried to be patient while a replacement was ordered. Unfortunately, the second suit arrived with similar defects as the original. When we requested a refund, it was denied. The showroom manager offered no meaningful resolution and stated he would email his manager, who might respond within a week. When I explained that we may need to dispute the charge with our credit card company if the issue could not be resolved, he threatened, "If you do, you can never shop here again." He also remarked that situations like this are common and customers sometimes wait even longer. After multiple in store visits and good faith attempts to resolve this directly, the matter remains unresolved and has raised serious consumer protection concerns. Terrible staff experience. One of the "main" gentleman came across as extremely entitled with a major attitude problem - he alone would never make me want to buy anything from that store ever (in-fact, go to Suit Supply a few stores down instead - highly recommend them - we bought a suit from there same day instead!). The gentleman was so strict about not taking anything off the sample fabric racks - how else are you supposed to picture the color on yourself if you cannot look in the mirror with the fabrics. No sample jackets or pants to try on either - quite impossible to put together a suit here. The ladies were nice, but only one came across like she knew what she was talking about. 5 years ago had wonderful experience. Bought 4 suits here over a year. 12 months ago I purchased 2 new suits. Initial measurements were terrible. Despite a second fitting never got the tailored fit I expected from first purchase. Additionally the quality of the fabric and work is way worse. Both pairs of pants have holes despite giving extra room. The fabric is just low quality. I am writing as I am very frustrated with how my entire suiting experience with Indochino went from very beginning. Before I write anything, I belong to the service industry myself and there is no way that I would handle a matter like Indochino has with 0 accountability and probably the worst service ever. From the very beginning when I went to give my measurements the person who was taking the measurements did not listen to me several times. When he took measurements of my chest I told him that he is going way beyond my actual size and he replied in manner which basically meant that he knows my body better than me or I have never worn a suit before. Hence, when the suit came after stitching it could fit one and a half person of my size easily. Somehow alterations for the first time took way more time in which the suit was stitched and even they were not accurate and I had to argue with the tailor and the staff to get the desired alterations done. Why do you have staff that acts like they know better about what fits you and how is your body than you? What kind of an offensive training and approach is this to the customer? Does your company even realize how offensive it is to behave this way with regular people let alone customers? Finally, why did I have to argue with the tailor multiple times to have the desired alterations done? If you think it ends here it does not. When finally everything was ready, I go tot the outlet to pick up my clothes and I do not know how but somehow the staff misplaced my vest and I in a hurry did not even check what was packed and left. Went to the cleaner to find out that it is not a 3 piece but a 2 piece suit right now. I came home and checked everywhere but the vest was no where to found. I checked in my closets, laundry bags, car and parking but could not find it. Called them and no one responded. No one even called back. So, I had to drive again. When I went there they could not find it and gave me several excuses of what might have ended up happening. At the end of the business day I get an email from their staff saying that they have decided to refund m e the amount for the vest and that's all. Do you even know how offensive that is? Do you think I am greedy that I need your money? I need what I paid for and if you cannot do that take your entire order back. What is this insult? I am not going to let my $600+ go to waste like this on such a terrible experience like that and I am posting this review of them everywhere so as man y people can know about this and avoid this brand entirely as this is the lowest of the low of services and very low of a brand to treat their customers like they do not matter at all. I am also complaining about this formally to the company and if an appropriate action is not taken I will push this even further. This whole experience has ruined my best friend's wedding and the chance for me to participate in it comfortably and I will make sure that I make this known to as many people as I can. UPDATE: After contacting the customer service several times my issue still hasn't been resolved. The last time I spoke to a representative he told me that the case has a memo that says the District Manager has reached out to you which is absolutely not the case. No one has reached out to me. Neither any sort of resolution has been offered by them for the piece of my suit that their staff misplaced. UPDATE 2: The customer service of INDOCHINO is a joke and keeps on wasting my time even more. I have filed a complaint against the this branch on their website but absolutely no one has contacted me. They keep on closing the case on their own without even offering me any resolution and I keep reopening it. I got tired today and reached out to the facebook page and they told me go contact the shop. The shop never picks up the phone and when I go there everyone over there acts clueless. I gave Indochino the benefit of the doubt. Terrible reviews but any company that wants to survive in retail should heed complaints and improve. So I went ahead and bought a 3 piece suit. The first time i got it, everything was off. The jacket sleeves were too long, the jacket length was too long and the pants were 3 whole inches long. I'm NOT an amateur suit shopper, I specifically told the specialists every detail I wanted. 1/8 inch cuff, no break, length down to middle of palms, slim through torso, etc. I had to drive 2 hrs back to this location because they did not provide free return shipping for problems they f***ed up on. It's boxy and you'll HAVE to take it in to be tailored. That's how they play you. on top of this, the vest we ordered was left out of the order and we now can't use one for the wedding. When we called about the fit of the suit and the missing vest, "THE BEST [THEY] CAN DO" was to schedule us for our "final look"/"fitting journey" 10 days before the wedding because we HAD to fit into their schedule. Tailoring takes two weeks to do at this shop. They wouldn't even guarantee that we'll get it in on time. No sorry or nothing. DON'T shop here. They won't bend over backwards for you. Just finished getting a tux from the Tysons location in Virginia. Experience was everything I could have asked for at that price point. The suit arrived about a week after my measurements were taken and the final alterations were done a few days after going in for the "final look." Quality was better than expected at the price point as well. I will likely also try Indochino's suits to see if they are better than comparably-priced off-the-rack options. The main reason I am writing this review is to provide an additional data point to Yelp users. After reading the very negative reviews of Indochino on Yelp, I almost canceled my appointment. While I didn't cancel, I did bring it up with the sales staff, and they were pretty candid about the percent of first-time buyers that need to have their suits completely redone (they said about one in three). I've purchased two suits from Indochino. The first time (in 2017) went fine - no problems. Suit was well-fitted, to my specifications. The second time? No good all-around. Please go to Suit Supply (conveniently located in the same mall) instead. In late February 2020, I went to Indochino to buy a new suit. The measuring process was fine. However, when my suit separates were delivered, I saw that the jacket was made with the wrong lining and didn't have the requested monogram. When I went back to Inodchino and told them about these issues, they immediately ordered a new suit jacket. Bummer, but they were accountable and responsive. As for the bottoms, I left them to be altered. This was right before COVID really hit the US, and the store understandably closed temporarily soon after that. When did they open back up? I have no idea. There was no notification. I didn't get an email or text. Nothing. I had to email their customer support team to get an update on my piece, because the store doesn't seem to ever answer the phone. Thankfully, their support team told me the piece was ready for pickup. I made an appointment, because I'd also received the re-made jacket in mid-March. When I showed up to the store for my 11am appointment, it was... closed? I had to double check to make sure 1) they were open, period; and 2) if I had the wrong time. A few minutes later (after the store was supposed to be open, regardless of my appointment), someone came to open the door. Turns out you have a 10-day window to bring items into the store for alterations. The multiple salespeople I interacted with failed to mention this policy. And did the policy change with COVID? No, it did not. So even though I had no idea when the store opened, I was apparently out of luck. After a light discussion, the salesperson agreed to make a slight alteration, but come on. Maybe try some automated email notifications? It should not be a customer's responsibility to check when the store opens. We should not have to email customer support to get an update on alterations. We shouldn't find out about a 10-day alteration window, AFTER the window has passed. We shouldn't have to wait outside for the store to open, after a scheduled appointment time. Update here. So I ordered my suit online after getting measured that same day at this location. That was on October 1, 2018. Had all my measurements on file after my visit. My suit finally came yesterday in the mail 10/17/2018. I was expecting it to come towards the end of the month but it came much faster than originally expected! Tried on the suit last night and the measurements were just about spot on. I'm not an expert in suit fittings, but I do know a thing or two. I compared the suit with other suits I have purchased in the past from other stores. Those were great, too. The difference here is that the suit from Indochino fits to my body specifically. And for the price, you can't beat this quality and style. Best suit I have ever owned. Money well spent IMO. FYI: May possibly take it into Indochino for a slight adjustment here and there but we will see. Looks great already from what I can tell. Had high hopes for the place. Not too much for a custom suit. I know what I'm paying for at a nicer place. I'm sitting in the store right now. One sales person is chatting with a customer. TWO others are fawning over another guy. I have yet to be acknowledged after 15 minutes. I just need to pick up my tux for my wedding. My experience with Indochino was underwhelming to say the least. The first custom order suit online didn't fit (my husband is a pretty average fit, and we measured and double measured). We ended up going to this store to avoid a second online order. They didn't have any appointments for 2 weeks. They are too busy and need more employees, there were no appointments available and everyone was too busy to answer the phones much less acknowledge our presence. I will give them credit here for making time for us- seeing that we needed the suit on short turn around. The next suit that came in also didn't fit...take that in for a minute- after a custom fitting, they produced a suit that DIDN'T fit. This is supposed to be their specialty. Inching closer to the wedding we sent the suit out to be tailored (free of charge) with a turnaround of 2 weeks (may have been 10-14 days). They forgot to call to let us know the suit came back in. We called to find out it arrived. My husband picked it up 2 days before the wedding. Overall my experience: Frustrating, added to stress instead of being an enjoyable experience. read more

Would give this place ZERO stars if possible! My husband ordered 2 jackets, 4 pants, and 1 vest 8 months ago and at this time he has NOTHING! He was initially excited to receive the initial order a month after we placed it, but the fit was TERRIBLE! We scheduled an appointment for another day with him before we left the store... Fast-forward... we go to this 3rd appointment and he is NOT THERE! It seemed like there was no note or anything, because the other associate seemed a little confused that we were looking for a specific person to help us. At this time, we just wanted a refund... it had been 8 months and now we had NONE of the items we ordered... They said that the manager would contact my husband since ONLY the manager could handle refunds... After not hearing back from them ... AGAIN... my husband called and tried to contact them 3 times before he was FINALLY able to speak to the manager. The manager was difficult to work with and was quick to become hostile... We then tried to reach out to someone in HQ, who contacted us a week later and said they would only be able to give us store credit..... which would only mean more appointments and this back and forth of ill-fitting suits all over again! We don't understand how they can hold a substantial amount of our money without us even having ANY product at this point in time! They tried to say it was because it had been 8 months, but that is RIDICULOUS!!!! Lydia is the best of this store! My husband has bought two suits here. The first was for our wedding. Excellent advice about fabric, pockets, style details, etc. Great selection and fun linings to choose from too. Suit arrived and needed altering, which was expected. The waistcoat was the wrong style, though, and had to be remade, which made our timeline very tight. Lydia was there to help with the tailoring last minute and really came through for us. That being said, going through the official scheduling channels would have left us up the creek. He now has a second suit. Same general problems with not having a lot of appointment availability same week, but he's pleased with the second suit. I think we got decent advice this time, though I'm not as wowed by the fabric he was advised to take this time around for a multi-use business suit. WARNING: Indochino does not do true made-to-measure suits. What they do is they have these baseline suits they have you try on, and then the guide helps you decide what to take in, let out, etc. The suit is then made custom but not to your measurements, only to the customizations from the baseline. They do take your measurements but that's only for the shirt and pants. If you've ever gotten a true custom fit suit from somewhere like black lapel, you'll be disappointed like I was. Overall, it fits good but not great. If you just want good fitting suits, it's ok I guess. read more

In house tailor does not understand how a suit should fit. Also, they called once to tell me my suit was ready and did not do a reminder call after I admittedly forgot for a few weeks. They made a stink about how they wouldn't do additional alterations because I didn't come pick up the suit timely. I get that it's my fault for forgetting, but a second courtesy reminder call is customary for things like this, and I shouldn't have to deal with attitude for alterations that are clearly provided for in the service. Save your money and just buy a suit off the rack (easily for the same or cheaper price) that's a close fit and get it altered because even though they claim this suit is custom, it still requires alterations, so I don't think there's any point in getting a suit from Indochino. Walked into the store and attempted to check-in to the appointment, right on time, the girl working could not be bothered to greet us or look up from her screen. We went to Indochino at Westfield Mall in Bethesda, MD. My son is getting married and his younger brother needed a suit. We had the good fortune of being waited on by Morgan. He did the fitting and it was a wonderful experience. He is a classic gentleman who knows everything about customer service. After a disasterous encounter with the Columbia Mall site (being stood up for a previous appointment by a no-show call out sick and no phone call employee), we had the opposite experience of a courteous phone conversation prior to the appointment and pleasant conversation during it. Again, MORGAN IS AWESOME!! He is great with fitting, knowledgeable on menswear and smooth with sales. I recently went to indochino to purchase a suit for a wedding. All the groomsmen and the groom were there and we all ordered the same suits including vest. I did not receive my vest and was informed that the liner was out of stock. I was never contacted by then. After 10 calls and finally getting to somone to address my concerns I was told they are sorry there is nothing they could do about it beside talk to a manager higher and see if they could compensate or refund me for such a bad mistake. I never heard back from them. Called again and nothing. I received an email stating the issue was resolved, which was news to me since I never heard back from them. I'm sure they thought this would be something that would be swept under the rug and their response showed me that they want your money but could care less if they ruin such an important day as long as they think it would not come back on them. Product and service are simply crap. Five of five shirts on my first order had sleeves so short that it looked like I had rolled my cuffs up after work at the bar. Four of four pants were so ridiculously small in all dimensions that they looked like clown pants. All needed to be entirely remade as the shirts and pants were so small they were beyond being able to be altered. All this despite the fact that I went there to be measured. I'm not sure what characteristics they use to select management, but it appears that their main skill set is surfing the internet. Entirely indifferent and not engaged. Bottom line: HUGE waste of time and money. Also, I had to delete the extensive profanity I wanted to type into this review. The place is simply infuriating. As an actual customer of Indochino, I can attest to my experience. I live in Washington, D.C. and visited their store in Tysons Corner. I read up about Indochino through various advertisements regarding custom made suits so I thought let me check them out. The store front and customer experience upfront was fantastic. Easy selection of choices and customizations. I quickly chose two suits I liked and left the store satisfied. Here is where the experience did a complete 180. I received the suits and it was immediately apparent the fabric was not the same quality as it was in store. In addition my black suit lacked the shine and "pop" as the fabric I chose in store (see photo). I contacted customer care and they said to go visit the store. In addition the store front tailoring was a 1 month turn around so I had to go to a local tailor for my alterations. Just so happened I was in Chicago for a wedding (yes wearing this black suit because at least the fit is better than the other black suit I own) and inside the hotel I was staying happens to be an Indochino store. I visited the store on Friday and spoke out assistant manager Alex. Alex noted my issues and did not fully commit to the quality and color differential but did note they weren't the same. He said if I was a customer I would be dissatisfied as you. Alex said his district manager Tony would be in tomorrow and would speak with him. So Saturday comes along and I follow up with Alex and he informs me that there was nothing they could do on my level. Given the ease to go visit the store and visit the DM Tony I said let me show him the difference. So my immediate impression of Tony was one who is self-centered, pompous and arrogant. Tony said there was nothing he was willing to do and said that fabric and quality is the same. We put the suit to the fabric up against each other and he said there was not a difference and there was absolutely no remedy. You can look at the photo yourself and the suit that I received is lacking the modern shine of the fabric in the store. Tony offered to take the suit back and I told him it was not an option since I needed the suit for the wedding tonight. In addition, it's not that I am completely displeased with the suit. For $350 it's not the worst suit in the world but it's not what I expected and does not meet the quality that I saw in the store. To me this is a $200 suit not a $350 suit. My navy suit which I bought did meet the color expectations but similar to the black the fabric was not as soft and genuine as the one selected in store. Trust me, I am not the only one who has noted issues with the suits received from Indochino. I first discovered Indochino via Instagram ads. It seemed to be an interesting alternative to off the rack suits and expensive alterations. I checked out the website and was intrigued, so I started an account and submitted my measurements online. When I found out they had a location at Tyson Galleria I thought it would be a great opportunity to drop in and see the fabrics in person before purchasing anything online. While i was in the store location I inquired into what services they provide at the location. So at this location they can do your measurements, provide styling guides for choosing fabrics and options, and do fittings of ordered suits and alterations. I signed up to have my measurements taken by one of the staff and received an appointment for a few days later. When I showed up for the appointment I met Chris. He took my measurements, found out that I was a bit off on my self measurements at home. Then based on those measurements I tried on some silhouettes. The silhouettes were then pinned for more exacting fit. After the fitting, Chris showed me around the showroom to find some fabrics that suited me (pun intended). He was very attentive to how some colors would work with my skin tone. We then went over the suit options, such as venting, buttons, lapel, and lining. Overall the experience lasted about an hour. I ended up ordering two suits and I was told they would be delivered in 4-6 weeks. I received my order 2 weeks later. When it arrived, I tried it on and the fit wasn't perfect. If you schedule alterations within 10 days of receiving your order the alterations are supposed to be free. So I scheduled my alterations appointment for the following day. I arrived and tried on my suits. The tailor took a look and realized that more work would be necessary to get the suits to be the perfect fit. It was another 2 weeks before I received one of my suits back from alteration. It fits well so I'm happy. My only concern is that with such major alterations, if i order another suit through the website, using the measurements stored in my profile, that i'll require further alterations in the future. All in all, it's a great alternative to off the rack suits and for the price, it's quite a deal. read more

This store is poorly managed and the manager, Priti, and tailor should be replaced for poor customer service and quality of work. I bought a suit from Indochino as gift to my fiancé a few months before Indochino opened a store in the DMV area. He had his measurements taken at the New York location during a work. He said it was a great experience and the employees were friendly and offered him something to drink when he came in. Unfortunately the suit came in far too large for him when it arrived. He found out that a new Indochino was opening in this area and decided to have it altered here. After it had been altered, there was something clearly wrong with the seat of the pants and we spent about 20-30 minutes waiting for one of the at least 4 employees to speak with us. Once they looked at the pants, they first tried to convince us that the pants were supposed to have extra fabric in the seat and then after we insisted they called the tailor. The tailor came out from the back of the store and pinned the pants for tailoring and left. Then, the associate told us that there would be a charge for the alteration and would take another 2 weeks. We called for the manager because we did not believe this was reasonable. The manager, Priti, told us that not only would there be a charge, but that it would take longer than two weeks but could not give us a delivery estimate because there was only one tailor and the new orders took priority so we should just take the suit elsewhere. We were able to take the suit to another tailor and Indochino reimbursed the costs, but the tailor said that the suit was pinned unevenly by the Indochino tailor. The whole situation was absurd and the suit really was not worth the hassle and quite frankly, made me feel terrible that I had given my fiance such a poor experience as a gift. read more

First off, I own nine Indochino suits and have almost never had a problem with them. But the last suit I ordered really shook my confidence in the company. The suit showed up with the seams highly visible and looking terrible. I reached out to Indochino support, who didn't bother to read my email but asked me all kinds of questions about fit. The problem is not fit but some kind of issue manufacturing. I wear other suits from the company on a daily basis. So then I figured, why not contact the actual storefront since I live right here? When I did, they were basically unwilling to help me; I had to badger them for about 10 minutes before they'd deign to let me come in and show them the problems with the suit that they made. They wanted me to take a day off work and come in at a time that was convenient for them. I was completely unimpressed given that I've spent at least $5,000 on Indochino products, this is the only time I've complained, and they still tried to brush me off. We'll see how this experience goes; I'm willing to give them another shot but right now I can't say anything good about their willingness to stand behind their product. The suits look great but you better hope you get the measurements right on the first try and that you don't have any problems down the line. read more
