I set up a project here in Yelp for pre-purchase Home inspections. I received about 4 answers…read morewithin a day and this Home Inspection Experts is the one that got my attention and trust right off the bat. The first message is very welcoming and they already tell you what packages they have with the prices and even extra services like termites and general pool inspection. No need for back and forth messaging asking for prices or your number for them to call. I checked their reviews and that's it, I decided I want their services. I messaged back and her reply is almost immediate at a very strange time. I think I messaged her late at night. I just copied and pasted their message to my agent and there, appointment is set. We chose the platinum so the sewer inspection will be included and additional pool and termites. During the inspections, the 2 inspectors came on time. Home inspections took about 2 and a half hours which is really good coz it means they check every detail. They delivered the findings verbally and the written report was sent to my agent and me the next day. I don't even know how to share to you the result because there's a lot. Just trust Home Inspection experts. They got you covered. I recommend this company 100%.

The inspector took us through the home to show us what they had found, and their recommendations. Very thorough, and took the time to explain things when we had questions. Really happy with our experience, definitely recommended.

The area behind the shower was saturated with moisture and needed to be properly dried out before the shower could be rebuilt and new valves installed. Carlos Albanez, the project manager, was outstanding to work with. He kept us informed every step of the way, communicated clearly, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The office staff was equally pleasant and efficient, providing all necessary quotes and paperwork promptly. We were working under a very tight time frame, and Restoration Heroes completed the job on time exactly as promised. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and reliability truly stood out. I would highly recommend Restoration Heroes for water, fire, and mold restoration needs and would not hesitate to work with them again.

HORRIBLE Communication and Project Management. Only the…read morefirst team that came out to repair the pipes was good. After that, every other team was AWFUL. NEVER provided a work schedule, no set schedule, left the place messy, workers left their trash and food in my home and garage. Said they would get a dumpster - NONE! Nails left on my driveway for me to clean. Failed to cover what they promised during construction. Workmanship was mediocre. A lot of finger pointing. Should I go on??? I am still waiting for a call from a manager, but of course nobody yet while my house sits unfinished for 4 months. I will NEVER use them again!!! I wish I could give them a ZERO. Don't be fooled by the first person who comes out - they subcontract all their work and their workers don't speak English (no offense to them because my mom doesn't either), but my point is you can't communicate with the workers and the project manager doesn't respond and check in their workmanship before the day is over.

Alexis came to collect samples and called to confirm before arriving early. He did a very thorough test and was very respectful of my place. This is the second time I've used JLM and I'd still recommend them. I'll list the pros and cons of…read moremy experience. Positives: Friendly customer service. Good communication and quick scheduling. I was able to have a technician come out the same day I called to schedule. The technician was extremely friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions while he was concentrating on the testing, set up etc. He was careful with his words meaning he didn't cause any unnecessary stress or anxiety. He wasn't pushy and was conscious of the cost while also recommending what samples are needed or suggested. He was clean and careful. Cons: Expensive compared to other mold testing companies. The invoice can quickly add up. I originally planned for about $800 ($500 base fee plus $75 for 4 samples). I added on asbestos test and that brought my bill to over $1300. In some ways I see this as a positive though because you get what you pay for (I hope and can't compare to any other company). My whole house wasn't moisture mapped as I was told it would be. The tech said they only focus on the reported areas of concern. Not a big deal but would've been nice to know. I kept getting rescheduled by 15 minutes. The tech was running late then running early so that was a little confusing. I jokingly asked them if I get compensation for the changed appt time since I signed the contract already (they charge $150 for any changes). They said no. The report is a bit confusing as it was the first time. The most annoying is that in the asbestos report they suggested further testing. Likely costing another $1000 or more. I thought I was already paying for the best testing. This feels a bit like a trick in some ways. Overall I'd go to JLM again. I suggest to do some research beforehand though to know exactly what you need done (AND WHY meaning are you renovating or just wanting to know for health reasons etc) so you don't get unneeded tests or costs.
