We ordered 8 Chapati

We ordered 8 chapati and all chapatis are uncooked We are not able not eat them totally worst here

Mixes for Dosa (rice flour crepe) and Uttappam (savory pancake) - just add water and fry.

Well, I fixed our first totally vegetarian Indian meal, almost all of which came from items purchased here, and most were selected with the help of the fine folks who run this store. The fare included my first Uttappam, a Zucchini & Sweet Corn Stir Fry, A Cucumber & Tomato Salad, Rajma, our own Riata, Coconut Chutney, and Tomato Chutney. All in all, this was a nice meal, a nice change. The Uttappam came out well, though a bit "mealy", but it was prepared from a mix, and I think making it from scratch next time will be my choice, but for a first time effort, I was not displeased with the result. This version included slice tomato, sliced onion, chopped green chili peppers, and chopped Curry Leaves. Liked it overall, but I'll work some dead animal into the next meal - probably lamb or goat, something with feathers removed, or such! I'll post updates 'cause deep down I think you want to know!

Aloo paratha with butter, pickles, curd and onion.

This review is about the restaurant within the store. The menu is mostly Punjabi cuisine and very authentic. The aloo and Gobi parathas are my favorite! 2 parathas are served per plate and they're quite filling. They comes with butter, pickle, and curd. Yummm! I usually get a salty lassi or sugar cane juice to go along with it. Just thinking about it has me drooling for some right now.. Haha! The Chaat here is pretty good too especially the chole bhature and samosa Chaat. The rajma chawal is an authentic Punjabi dish too. They serve it separately on the same place (not mixed) and with some pickles and onion. They are very accommodating and the service is great too. Everytime I pass Greensboro, I look forward to eating here.

Stop - look - listen!!!! This is not your typical Indian convenient store... THERE IS A CUTE LITTLE RESTAURANT INSIDE. You will never be the same again after you step inside the Indu C-store. There is no other in Greensboro that can compete...let me break it down like this: 1) Do you like Indian food? 2) Do you like spicy? 3) Do you like cheap prices? 4) Do you like a great sanitation grade? 5) Do you want a healthy fast lunch? If you said YES to all the above, get off your butt and drive over there and be blown away...the small restaurant inside is what Indian street food is all about ......keep in mind the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Aside from that jump on the INDU Party Train! Let's roll!

Came out to try Indus famous chaat. I heard so much about it. When I walked in the store was packed and there was people standing in the door way so I had to squeeze my self in. I ordered a samosa chaat to go, I didn't really want to sit in the rush and eat. The samosa chat cost about $6.50 and was 2 crushed samosas and a cup of garbanzos with yogurt and green sauce. It was ok after taking a couple spoons I felt something funny in my mouth and it was like a piece of plastic a 1/2 strip, at first I thought it was the garbanzos or the samosas but I couldn't swallow so I spit it out and it was a strip of plastic I honestly could not eat anymore after almost swallowing this thing. I ended up throwing the rest away and I felt like something was in my throat for the next hour, but I made it. Over all the customer service was great the lady taking the orders was very sweet and nice, I just got a good feeling when she spoke to me. The service was quick!! I don't think I'll be back to have any of the food, samosa chaat etc. The food, I give it 0 stars and 3 stars for the wonderful service.

Samosa chole chaat

Indu Convenient Store has a good assortment of South Asian ingredients, fresh produce, groceries, etc. You can also buy religious articles, DVDs, and some accessories too. They also have a loyalty program which is simple and rewarding. They also serve Indian snacks through the kitchen that has been recently added. We ordered chole bhature and Samosa chole chaat. Both of them were delicious and spicy

The samosa!

Bajaj Almond Drops says it's a hair oil... and sure, fine, you can put it on your hair. But…read morelisten...on the skin?! ELITE. Supreme. Five-star behavior. I've been using it for a year and my skin is smoother than my life decisions. No greasy mess, no weird smell, just soft, glowing, "what lotion do you use?" energy. If my skin could talk, it would write this review itself. Head over this store and grab you a bottle.

Great store with great prices! This store specializes in Indian and south east asian grocery goods…read more There are so many wonderful products available that are twice the price in most grocery chains. I'll purchase many of the spices I need for day-to-day cooking here. Most recently I got a huge bag of peppercorns for about $10 and ended up with the equivalent of $50 of fresh ground pepper after grinding and storing them. Also, they have bulk quantities of rice, beans, chickpeas, and other dry staple goods. I haven't found anywhere else that gets close to the value they have on a 10lb bag of red lentils. Also, they have fantastic frozen meals and lots to choose from in the freezer section. The store is daunting to navigate for someone unfamilar with the cuisine. However, it's well worth your while to do your homework in advance and come in with a list. The staff is friendly and will help you locate what you need. They have some tasty to-go food in the front of the store. Typically, they have samosa and various savory puff pastries. I always buy a couple of these tasty treats when I'm checking out so I can have a car snack! Overall, I'd absolutely recommend popping in, even if it is your first time in a specialized grocery store. You won't be disappointed!
