Came back to Sip Lab recently and it was just as busy as our last visit. We love that they have the Build Your Brew little kiosks to order from so you can see a picture of every item on the menu with a description. I ordered the caramel coconut cloud matcha again and it was just as good as the last visit. We also grabbed a Strawberries and cream croffle for a little snack as well. A delicious sweet treat. Honestly, Sip Lab is a solid spot for any kind of drink from matchas and coffee to smoothies and energy drinks!
There is limited seating inside to enjoy your beverages but there is some table and seats outdoor as well. Their very busy in the afternoon,expect groups and full tables. You can order through their app, on kiosk inside the store or at the register with a cashier. Aside from coffee, smoothie, matcha, tea,refeshers and energy drinks they serve different kind of croffles. I tried there chai tea it was good. The mango strawberry banana cloud smoothie is really good( not too sweet and you can taste all 3 flavors:well balanced). Also I tried the matcha since everyone I know that came here before me said it is the best in Greensboro. I got the caramel coconut matcha cloud it is good but not what I expected..a little disappointed there were more coconut flavoring then matcha itself. Maybe it was a busy day and it was made rushed. The matcha is okay not the best Ive tasted.
This was my first time at Sip Lab, and it was a wonderful and convenient experience! I ordered my drink online and was prompted to download the app to help track my purchase. In glad I did that because any drink was right when the app said it would be. My drink was delicious! It was exactly as I thought it would be, based on the website picture and my own taste profile expectations. The restaurant was clean, I was greeted when I entered, and the staff were polite. I will definitely return to try more drinks!
The coffee shop is very modern. The music was a bit loud so this isn't a place I would come to concentrate on work. There is limited seating. This doesn't mean I didn't enjoy my visit. The croffles are good. I got the s'mores croffle had a lot of marshmallows. The mocha coffee was delicious. I got it warm and I really enjoyed it. My friend got the cold version and it looked great. I would definitely return. Customer service was also good.
Excellent new coffee and treats addition to Greensboro. Fun atmosphere, an insane amount of drink variety and a chill vibe. So many options for drinks it can make your head spin. Coffee, tea, matcha, smoothies, refreshers, you name it. And to add to it, you can build your own from many different bases and additions. The options are endless. I went with a green smoothie and my wife chose a brown sugar coffee, light on the sweetness. They were delicious. The only constructive criticism I'd give is the sweetness level. My wife asked for light sweetness but it was still heavy on the sugar. No option for sweetness level for my green smoothie, also a bit too sweet for a refreshing "green" option. Nonetheless, both we very tasty. And if you have a super sweet tooth, this is your place. Now on to the 5 star croffles. Croffles you say?? Yes, yes I do. What a fun and unique item! Best way to describe it...a shout out to DJCuisine who nailed it perfectly in one of his recent videos: it's a perfect mix of a hot and fresh waffle and a fair funnel cake. I mean this thing had flavor bomb written all over it: gooey goodness oozing all around, crunchy and crisp edges, hot and soft interior. Every bite had all of this going on in a perfect way. We will be coming back for these unique croffles over and over. Go try them, and enjoy a great variety of drinks with it.

Sip lab uses local coffee and tea from local vendors and has a creative menu. I got the coffee first go round, then had to come back for a refresher. We also tried their "croffles" which were tasty and unique. I got the Biscoff latte and I could taste the coffee, it was just sweet enough, and I thought I was gonna have to go back and get a second one. I then kept looking at the menu and really wanted a refresher, which turned out to be just as amazing. Our server was patient with me trying to make decisions. And made sure we had exactly what we needed. The only critique I have is that the music was loud, and didn't fit the vibe of a Sunday morning. But this is a personal opinion. I'll definitely be back.
Came here as girlfriends with our kiddos, people in the counter is soooo amazing! Super patient and helpful while we choose our drinks. If you're coming as a big group, the space might be limited but the drinks are totally worth it! We ordered Biscoff Lattes!!!
A new venture from the owners of The Ice Cream Factory, Sip Lab is a lot, in many senses of the word. Positives first: the menu offers tons of options. There are lattes, mochas, cold brews, shaken espressos, matchas, chais, energy drinks, and smoothies (as well as croffles for those craving a sweet treat). Locally sourced ingredients - beans from Vignette and teas from Vida Pour - add to the appeal. Sip Lab also offers multiple ways to order, from standing in line to using an in-store kiosk to ordering ahead on a dedicated app. Speaking of ordering, the baristas here are friendly and will gladly customize a drink to match your preferences (including sweetness level). Despite the high volume of customers (more on that later), they turn around orders quickly. My wife and I went with a sea salt maple cloud cold brew and a banana cloud latte, respectively, and we were both very satisfied. The coffees were smooth, and the creamy cloud toppings added an extra touch we didn't know we were missing. Banana syrups can be hit or miss, and Sip Lab's version lands squarely in the "hit" column. So what's not to like? Perhaps because it is new, Sip Lab seems to keep very busy. You probably won't be able to score a table, and you might have to maneuver around people while waiting for your drink. While some might really appreciate the energetic vibe here, the appeal is limited for those who turn to coffee shops as reading/study/meeting spaces. Finally, the foam toppers aren't the only things in the clouds at Sip Lab. At $8 or so for a medium drink (and $5 or so for a small), prices are not for the faint of wallet. For better or for worse, Sip Lab is far from your usual coffee shop. If you want a unique drink made to your liking, don't mind the cost, and are taking it to go, Sip Lab has much to offer. Those looking to sit and sip, however, may want to look elsewhere.

I chose a brown butter shaken espresso and the maple glazed croffle. The coffee was really good, I may try it 'Strong' next time (you can choose between Balanced, Sweet or Strong) as this was a little lackluster for me and the price point is a slightly higher than most coffee shops in the area. I probably would not go for the croffle again. While a unique item, it was warm and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, the price point is also a little on the higher side for what you get. I'll return m to try some of their Classic cafe coffee choices.
Went to the grand opening on Friday. The place was pretty full and there was a line. I wasn't mad about it because I understand that they're brand new and people want to try out the new spot in town. There were a couple of baristas working in the back and they seemed to be working pretty fast. The man up front taking orders was super nice and said thank you for being patient. I ordered the brown butter shaken espresso. I was asked if i would like it sweeter or moderate. I picked moderate. When asked if i wanted to get a specific milk I was told it would be free of charge. It did take a little bit of time for me to get my drink since there were others ahead of me but I was in no rush. Overall I would say my coffee was alright. Nothing that really blew my mind. I tasted my friends Horchata Matcha, which is something I will definitely be getting when I go back. Other than that I will be going back to try out their smoothies as well! Nice place with a cute little vibe going on inside.
I had the pleasure of trying Sip Lab on its opening day. This fantastic beverage laboratory offers craft drafts with a creative flair. Each drink is intentionally created and refined with the consumer experience in mind. Offering coffee, matcha, smoothies, and specialty drinks made to perfection. If you are hungry, they offer a wide range of croffles (croissant-waffle). I asked the barista, Josh, for their recommendation on a food and drink item. At their suggestion, I got an iced horchata cloud latte (they use 1883 Maison Routin syrup) and a caramel cinnamon crunch croffle. The drink came out quickly, and the flavor profile was phenomenal. The croffle was exceptional, the exterior slightly crunchy and the interior light and fluffy, with notes of maple syrup. The perfect vessel for holding the caramel sauce and Cinnamon Crunch topping, as it doesn't get soggy if not eaten immediately.
First time here. I ordered a s'mores latte and it was good. Giving them 3 stars because there was very little coffee in my cup which was at least 75% ice, maybe a quarter cup of coffee. Value for money is a 2, flavor of beverage is a 4.

Loved this cute coffee spot. They're owned by the Ice Cream Factory and they both have a similar vibe-clean, pic worthy aesthetic. The staff were all very warm and bubbly. I love when I can ask for recommendations and the staff is excited to share what they enjoy. One standout that I like is that they ask how sweet you want your matcha drinks. Matcha tastes can vary and it's nice to be able to customize your experience. read more

I can tell the buzz has died down a bit since the opening a few months ago. I came in on a Monday and there was no line but several customers were already sitting and enjoying drinks. The employees were all super helpful and eager to describe the drinks and help with any add in's or substitutions. I opted for the caramel brown sugar matcha, balanced. My friend got the strawberry cloud matcha, sweet. I like that they give the option of sweeter or balanced. Hers tasted more like a smoothie than matcha but was still delicious. Mine had a perfect taste of matcha with a subtle sweetness. I'd definitely come back and try some of the other coffee options read more

SIP Lab is a newer spot under the same ownership as Ice Cream Factory, and I was excited to try it since Ice Cream Factory already has great desserts and treats. SIP Lab offers coffee, matcha, energy drinks, smoothies, and croffles in a modern, clean space with both indoor and outdoor seating. I went on their second day open and it was already very busy, so it's definitely getting a lot of attention. Hours of operation are: Monday-Friday: 6 AM - 10 PM Saturday-Sunday: 8 AM - 10 PM Parking is the biggest downside--it fills up quickly, so plan ahead. Ordering is easy with kiosks for customization or staff at the front, and screens that show your order status, which keeps things organized even when it's crowded. The service is really good--staff is friendly, attentive, and everything moves smoothly even when it's busy. The drinks come in cute cups and are well made. The croffles are delicious but a bit small for the price. I also love that it's a local shop--I really enjoy supporting local businesses like this. Overall, it's a great stop, especially if you're heading to work--you can grab coffee early since they open at 6 AM on weekdays. I'd definitely come back for the vibe, service, and drinks. read more
OPENING APRIL 13, 2026!!! This place is the companion business to The Ice Cream Factory, located in the same parking lot. It's a very chill atmosphere. Workers are very helpful. They carry energy drinks, smoothies, matchas, teas, lattes, mochas, shaken espressos, & cold brews. Everything is served over ice. Right now they have one food option -CROFFLE! Delicious blend of a croissant + Waffle. They come in 6 flavors for now. Come visit Johnny and take a cool sip!! You won't be disappointed! read more

I recently stopped in to try Sip Lab and it was great! They have kiosks that you can order at so we ordered there. We were able to take our time and really look at the menu. They have a a good variety of options including coffees, smoothies, matcha, energy drinks, and refreshers. I went with the brown sugar matcha and it was so delicious! I loved the combination of the brown sugar with the matcha. I also got the caramel cinnamon crunch croffle. I loved the light and airyness of the croffle and the crispy exterior. The toppings added a nice extra caramel and crunch to it as well. Our drinks came out pretty quick and the staff were friendly. My only negative is that the prices did seem a little high, specifically for the croffle. I do think I'll be back regardless because the quality was good. read more
Update, I tried again and tried a cold coffee and it was delicious! Cold drink was filled then the brim! I ordered through the app which helped make it be completed in a timely manner ! I'm glad I didn't write this place off! The aesthetics of the drink were so good too! This will probably because a staple in my routine because it's near my gym as well! If you're looking for a refreshing drink... here's your place to customize! I tried the Iced Horchata Cloud Latte and the Watermelon Cucumber Mint refresher. They give you the option of sweetness level... which I did "Balanced" and would say they air on the side of pretty sweet. The refresher hit the spot perfectly for a hot day! The croffle is basically like an airy croissant with toppings... the smores one was sweeter than I could handle, but if that's what you're looking for it's delicious. I'd get the plain cinnamon sugar croffle next time. Staff are incredibly friendly and the owner was very kind. Happy to support this team and love that they sourced locally with Vignette Coffee and Vida Pour Tea. read more

The sip lab is definitely the place to go! The smoothies are very delicious! My husband and I will definitely go again! The employees are super friendly and sweet! One young lady answered all our questions as first timers. The ambiance is very nice. It was extremely loud in the day we went but that was due to a group of college students being loud inside. Once they went outside it was more relaxing and enjoy. read more
Very friendly team there and a wonderful selection of drinks. Classic coffee drinks with a few new ones to me such as the espresso con panna, a single shot of espresso with a bit of whipped cream. They have 5 booths for sitting plus a few waiting chairs and 6 tables and chairs outside. While I haven't tried any yet, they have a full menu of iced drinks including lemonades, smoothies, teas and fizzy drinks. As the days get warmer I can imagine sitting at one of the outdoor tables enjoying a cold beverage. They have done an excellent job finishing out the space and invested in some very nice equipment. The espresso has a rich, slightly sweet flavor and makes an excellent drink on its own or as the base to something else. You should give them a try. read more

**OPENS APRIL, REVIEW IS FOR SOFT OPENING** I had the privilege of being present during this soft launch (with free samples), courtesy of the owner! Sip Lab is a boutique coffee shop that bases their drinks off locally-roasted coffee. Besides serving a great cup of Joe, their coffee drinks are superb, with a highly customizable selection of bases (non dairy milks!), and high-quality flavors. The owner splurged on the quality of his ingredients, and it shows in the finished products. Sip Lab took over the space where Starbucks was, and is a vastly superior replacement. The owner decided to foray into coffee after starting the highly successful Ice Cream Factory. The interior is cozy, yet modern and is a more relaxed environment than the action-packed than more family-oriented Ice Cream Factory. I was served a White Chocolate Latte with oat milk, which was well-balanced between coffee flavors and chocolate, without being overly-sweet. There's also house-crafted energy drinks, and the watermelon flavor was superb. My wife said the Biscoff bliss was delicious. The mango-pineapple smoothie (they have smoothies too!) was great. Additionally, Sip Lab will serve bakery goods, and I've been told (by my wife) that the croffle was really good! Judging by the bakery selections at Ice Cream factory (best vegan brownie ever), I'm predicting Sip's bakery options will be sure to please. With the closing of Clutch, this fills and even exceeds the void left. This is destined to be my favorite coffee spot once it opens. Even if you're not into sweet coffee drinks, the base coffee and espresso is high-quality. read more

This is my second time here. Let me say I love this place already ! The first visit I used the kiosk in store to order and got a strawberry cloud matcha which was very good. I wanted another but didn't wanna wait to get one since it was very busy being that they just opened. This second time the kiosk was off so I stood in line which wasn't long. Laci took my order for a lavender cloud matcha + vanilla & macadamia milk and a gift card I wanted for a friends birthday present. She made me feel welcomed and answered questions I had about the different milks, flavors, and of course how to keep my points accruing from my last visit. I love how you can earn points easily and actually redeem them pretty quickly for future visits. I'm almost at my $5 off reward. Love the ambiance and look overall. I do wish they had more places to sit as it gets busy there are no places to wait for your order and it gets a little congested near the front. Other than that I am fully satisfied with my orders I've received. I will be back. Keep it up y'all ! read more

I loved sip lab. I ordered 2 coffees and a lavender matcha for me and my kids, and I was a very big fan. I got to have a sip of each one and they were all immaculate #momtax. The service was quick and excellent considering how busy they were. They took an amazing page out of the chick-fil-a handbook and had a board that tells you the estimated wait time on your drinks. The ambiance in the shop was incredible and I could see myself working there once the opening hype cools down. Overall amazing coffee and cheaper than Starbucks. Would recommend. read more

I went in and the place was packed. I would say maybe around 40 people or so. The space is extremely small which is normal for a new business; However, the kiosks are inconveniently located at the front where everyone picks up and walks in the door so we all had to squeeze together in one tiny space to order and wait on our drinks. I feel like the kiosks would have better served their purpose on the other side. I wasn't sure where the line started and ended as there was no signage to indicate where to go and it was hard to figure out with that many people standing around waiting. Some were sitting in the booths at the tables which made it easier for those who had to stand. The booths are nice..and there are some tables outside where you can sit as well. I'm sure this will (hopefully) not be an issue going forward as they just opened. I ordered one iced brown sugar matcha and one iced caramel coconut mocha latte through the kiosk once I figured out they don't have a cashier so you have to order through the kiosk or through the app. Which is fine....maybe not so much for older or disabled people....Parking is terrible but it's in a multiple business location..so also expected. My matcha came out within 5 minutes and I'm pretty sure it was just straight matcha. It did not taste good at all. I then waited over half an hour for that latte that also tasted like metallic waste. I tried to be patient since they had so many people in there and I'm sure people were ordering through the app too but it got to a point where I had been standing there for half an hour and staff had asked me if I had a latte with it and I said yes. No one asked where it was or did anything about it. I stood there another 5 minutes or so and then I had to ask about it. Staff then made the latte..........After almost an hour. It would not have even been a big deal if they would've just asked me if I was missing something. I was literally standing at the front counter right in front of them waiting. I was looking at them and they were looking at me for half an hour. Again, I know it was slammed. But you can't ask me if I'm missing something when I'm standing there for that long? Others also had this issue as well. And then for everything to taste the way it did...............oh boy. Uh uh. No thank you and never again. Which I hate because I love supporting small businesses but when small businesses don't support me don't expect it in return. That is all. 0/10 read more

Best matcha i've had in greensboro NC by far, the service was absolutely amazing, prices are phenomenal and don't get me started on the vibe. it's a perfect mix of study area and chill night out with friends. Would definitely recommend coming here. read more
