A cute candy shop in Newton with so many options from bulk candy to chocolates to festive baskets. The prices for the bulk candy range from $14-25 and you can mix and match and they'll round out the pricing. I got about a pound of candy for around $14 to try a good mix of everything from chewy and sour gummies to chocolate. They have swedish candy that has the chewy marshmallow textures to tiny gummy bears with different flavors. While I was paying, the lady told me they've been open for 35 years, so they are definitely doing well. A great place to stop by if to indulge on some sweets and treats. read more

Absolutely adorable candy store that hasn't changed much in the last 30 years- super nostalgic and adorable! They have many varieties of candies and it is so delicious. My fiance gave me a box of assorted chocolates he picked out from Indulge for Valentines Day. He said the woman working there was super nice and helpful. The chocolates are AMAZING!!! I was sending thank-you chocolates to some friends and stopped in to Indulge. It's a cute little shop featuring a small case of chocolates, and the row of bulk candy containers that are de rigeur for such a place. I got a dark chocolate caramel for myself (to test the waters) and it was amazing! They put together gift boxes for my friends and I was off. Easy as pie. I will say that in response to Megan B-- that since 2006 they appear to have added a section of nut free candy-- but it's not a very large store, so they don't have a huge selection of very much. Great local business. Friendly owner and customer service. I go frequently to get treats for myself, and also love giving candy to friends as gifts. It's more unique than bringing a bottle of wine to a party :) Gummies are my favorites, but they have tons of chocolate too. I went to indulge! To get favors for my fall themed engagement party...they were extremely helpful and had tons of great ideas! they really seemed to have as much fun as I did coming up with perfect favor. We decided on fall colored mesh bags with chocolate foil leaf candy. When I picked up my favors I was beyond pleased! They were adorable! They added the perfect fall touch to the tables. Stumbled upon this place when I went to to the eye glass place around the corner and I am so glad! While I am generally not big into sweets this place awesome! They have all the thing I like that can be hard to find and such a huge selection. Whenever I'm there I get some nostalgia ( necco wafers, molasses puff, and chuckles). Their chocolate display is temptingly gorgeous and I will definitely go there for the next gift I have to get. They have a wide selection of licorice which is my favorite in their self serve wall, jelly beans in any flavor your can imagine and both times I've been they are polite and helpful. I like joking with the ladies and reminiscing on all the older candies which you can even buy boxes that are to specific decades starting in the 50's! Terrible customer service I asked for a specific candy, they gave me something else, I didn't notice the mistake until I got home. I called and they said they'd fix it but when I drove back there they said they wouldn't take it back or offer any option. I'm out $40 because I was a trusting customer who figured the sales clerk in a candy store knew something about the products they carry. The absolute rudest group of women working there! I came in about 20 minutes before closing with my two children - there were 3 women working behind the counter. They were packaging items and none of them bothered to say hello or ask us if we needed help. When I approached the counter to pay for our items it was as though I was causing them a terrible inconvenience. If I weren't there with my children buying some treats for them (along with other things) I would've walked out leaving my $26 worth of candy and candles on the counter. While it looks like they do a mail order business, if they are running a retail store they might want to invest some energy into customer service. I will never shop there again and discourage all from doing so. read more

Ordered a gift basket over the phone. The person was enthusiastic, great at working within my budget, helpful with choices and offered good suggestions (like did I want to have all candy or balance it out with other treats, and she suggested some popular options). They gave me a good delivery date and even texted a picture of what they would be sending. They are in the process of rebuilding their website so that we could soon actually order online, but I had a great experience over the phone and trust that the basket will be fab. A nice local candy shop. Last stopped in during the holidays. They were overstaffed, something like 6 people in this big closet, but strangely indifferent to the customers. Good variety. Things are pricey, but not more than similar stores. I didn't like the way they charged me extra for a box for the chocolates. They need to be more clear about that.
