We recently had the siding replaced on our house. After this was complete, there were a lot of nails poking through the walls in our garage. Our garage is unfinished so the nails that were used to hang the siding came through to the inside of our garage between the studs. For aesthetic and safety I decided to hang some wall panels which is another story. Anyhow after the panels were up this is where the idea comes into play. I wanted to give the panels some support behind them but didn't want to pull them off the walls. First I thought about spray foam but then figured that I would probably need dozens of cans or more. So then I thought what about packing peanuts? I thought this was a great idea. So I started looking on line and at office supply stores. While I found some, the price was more than I thought it should be. That is when I found TwinSource. A 14 cubic foot bag was just over $20 or about a third of the price anywhere else. I thought how could the price be that much better? Did I figure the amount needed incorrectly? Well I placed my order and received a follow up email within a few hours that my order was ready to pick up. TwinSource is located in an industrial building. The process was super simple and my bags were waiting for me when I arrived. Turns out TwinSource is more than peanuts. I…read morespent 20 minutes trying to give them the opportunity to fix this mess, but after being transfer to the THIRD person - who was as clueless as the other two- I gave up. It took over 4 weeks to get the materials- that were "in stock". They couldn't find a somewhat decent hardwood installer up their ass with both hands on their cheeks. If you know what you want, can carry it out the same day, and install it yourself - have at it. Otherwise, save yourself the grief. You can thank me later. The guys there were cordial and helpful. Enough so that my client, whom I had accompanied to the showroom, placed an order for a little over $8000 for a combination of hardwood and laminate flooring under my professional account. This review will concern the person they sent to set up the installation of the hardwood, who may not be the guy in the showroom who sold the flooring, but is an employee of LL Flooring - and therefore reflects directly on the company and my potentail use of LL Flooring for materials in the future. "Dan" was absolutley THE MOST rude and condescending person I have ever dealt with in my nearly 18 years of contracting. Not only was he rude in his texting, but he also felt the need to call me right after my text to him at 10.30am requesting he please not change the time again - and when i answered he screamed "YOUR CLIENT PICKED THAT TIME Have a good day" And. then. he. hung. up. on. me. whoa. the epitome of professionalism there, Dan. /s First of all, my client did not "pick" that time - that was the time DAN gave. Second, when you are talking to the contractor who is coordinating the project FOR the client as well as installing the laminate, along with being the one who suggested LL FLooring to the client to begin with, you do not want to piss them off. That is the surest way to get not only the hardwood installation bid cancelled, but the entire materials order cancelled as well. According to DAN, only HIS and my clients time were "important". I was "not needed or necessary". Got it. OK. I also do not need, not will it be necessary to use LL Flooring, or recommend them to any future clients.

I called several towing companies looking for a rough estimate and some guidance on getting rid of my 2010 Toyota Corolla. Since I wasn't familiar with the process, I had a lot of questions, but most places seemed uninterested and weren't very helpful. I found Sell A Junker through Google, called, and spoke to (if I remember correctly) Riley, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain how everything worked, from the assessment and towing to the title transfer and payment.
