Philly fried rice
Zara T.

Stopped in to grab food while our friends were out at the bars. While it was loud, we were able to grab a table and chat above the music. Food was good. I ordered the Philly fried rice, and it was a little sweeter than I expected. It was filling and hit the spot. Probably wouldn't order again, but pleased with my order. Our server was nice, and my experience was good. There's street parking nearby - that I believe you must pay for - and they have plenty of happy hour deals.

The service was fine but our server did not seem to know the specials or menu well. The food was fine but not one person at the table thought their food was good or great. The location was fine and at least the validate parking but even though they said they validate for 4 hours I was still charged a nominal fee. So yes overall just an average experience.

Everything but the kitchen sink

We were staying in Fort Worth over the weekend and decided we wanted a brunch place with mimosas. The food looked really good so we picked Resevoir bar, patio, & kitchen. We arrived a little after they opened. Cute place within the Cultutal Center with outdoor seating and a large bar. Our waitress was super friendly & helpful. I came with 2 other friends, so we shared the Everything, but the kitchen sink & the strawberry French toast. The platters were definitely big enough to share. The mimosas we fantastic & they don't serve them in those rinky dink champagne flutes. They serve them in tall beer glasses. Be careful at 3 bucks each, you could easily drink more than you should. The food was so good, full of flavor, and very filling. The ambiance was nice. I didn't use the bathroom, so I couldn't tell you about that, but the restaurant itself is clean & family friendly. They do have tvs & a couple of sport options were playing, so I'm sure the restaurant can get packed when there are major games. Being from California & reminiscing the days when a brunch with friends was inexpensive, I can appreciate that the bill for the 3 of us was slightly over 50 bucks. It's definitely a favor spot in my book and would come back in a heartbeat. The service and restaurant are top notch.

Really great spicy Bloody Mary and a really nice patio. We actually got the food for free. It was a kitchen mistake so the waiter gave it to us for free since we hadn't ordered food. Can't get much better than that. The waiter went out of his way to do something nice that he didn't need to do. Will definitely be back.

Partially eaten. So good!!!!

The food...OMG! The meatloaf is exquisite. They manage to add different textures to what is usually a bland and soft food. It's kinda crisp but super moist. Fried onion on top like why the added indulgence, and they are what every meatloaf could use. Delicious, fluffy mashed potatoes with brown gravy which should always be the standard. And these beautiful green beans cooked perfectly with a garlic sauce. So good!!!! This dish could literally go for twice as much. This isn't a bar with food, it's an amazing restaurant with a bar. Bartenders are super friendly, too.

Texas beer similar to blue moon that the bartender recommended.

Amazing service and amazing food. I had the meatloaf skillet which I'm still dreaming about.

Mimosa special on Saturday and Sunday

We had a blast! The updated menu and 2$ mimosas were a lot of fun. The mimosas are mainly juice but it's helpful not to get the champagne crash at like 1pm. The portions are Texas grande so if you are with a friend considering splitting an app and dish. The reason it doesn't get the full 4 stars is simply because of the descriptions of food. They aren't accurate to what you get. The surprise factor was there of "oh I guess this is what I ordered" and tbh the food was fantastic. For those who want to know exactly what they are ordering this may be a struggle for you. Have fun and let me know if this review helped!

Burnt ends weren't really burnt. Highly disappointed by that. Would not recommend that. The meatloaf was ok. The sauce on it was delicious but overall it was just ok. I probably won't be trying it again. The service was great and fast

Yall!!! Okay so boom! After my third visit, I can attest that this place is a HIT! I've got the Blackened Salmon Alfredo three times in a row and every time is consistently BOMB! It's savory, flavorful and the salmon is juicy. It's everything! Staff is okay. Setting is cool also (patio vibes) Sidebar: I didn't lick my plate clean but if my stomach had room I would have

Fish tacos

Man service was insanely slow, but the taco Tuesday specials almost made up for it!! I drank one SUPER strong marg, and had the fish tacos. The elotes and fish tacos were S O good, would definitely recommend. It's a bar setting, but the food is really good for bar food.

The Old Skool - 8/10

Great food, cool spot, would highly recommended to anyone visiting the cultural district!

What is the parking situation? Do they validate?

They have their own free parking lot. It's not huge so if its football sunday it could probably get full

Is there a happy hour on Saturdays?

Indeed there is.

And with their membership and rewards program, you accept the challenge of trying to visit every location that exists which led me to this one several weeks ago. Out of all the Pluckers I've set foot in, this one is probably the loudest. No tables were available so we walked around the bar area before snagging a few seats from a couple that just left. The bartenders immediately got us some drinks although it was hard to hear them cause of the noise. After some beers, I tried the Michelada since that was part of the challenge in the rewards program. It's quite large with a nice spicy (taijin?) rim. It definitely put me on my ass afterwards so I had to tap out and close the tab out upon finishing it. I would order it again cause it's a powerful one. The wings are alright; my friend and I each got a 5 wing snack (spicy ranch for me). Wings are good size; these were a bit crispier than most. I noticed many of the wings came out that way; maybe the people at this location like it like that? It's alright, nothing that some bleu cheese can't fix when dipped in. I chalk up the noise and atmosphere to a Friday night with mainly college students around. Maybe the next time we come here it'll be less hectic so we can actually hear ourselves talk.

We asked for the check, and was told there was a "corporate situation" where we had to leave a review to receive the bill. I couldn't believe it, so I repeated, "we have to leave a review just to get the bill???" The answer was yes. Our bill was being held hostage. We were stunned as our waiter told us we'd "get points for reviewing" (not restaurant points btw, these are Google points) and pressured us to scan the QR code and stood there watching to make sure we had put 5 stars on everything. When he saw I was hesitant to do so, he said just one of us could do the review to get the bill. This is unbelievable business practice and extremely uncomfortable. For this reason alone, I cannot recommend this establishment and will not be returning.

We all enjoyed the waffle cheese fries, mozzarella logs, & boudin balls. My friends had the lemon butter chicken, both said the flavor was good but that the chicken was a bit dry, they did enjoy the cheese corn grits. Pasta alfredeaux, my friend thought it could use more seasoning. I had the cajundilla, it's a heavy entree. There's a lot of flavors in there but they needed more than just onions to bring some freshness to it. I did enjoy the red beans & rice that they came with. Seemed like the sides were better than the main part of each entrée. Cleanliness 4/5, nothing is ever going to be perfect but the restroom needed more attention than what it had been given & our seats where kinda "eh" upon being seated. Staff & service, 5/5. Excellent! Shantiva was our waitress. She was attentive, polite, patient, & was knowledgeable about the menu. Great personality! Really any staff member we interacted with was super nice including the hostess & the servers that helped being our food out. Easy to pay by QR code, very convenient. Prices are fair, with lots to choose from on the menu. Overall a good experience!

Buffalo Wild Wings is a restaurant chain that provides a great gameday atmosphere. Honestly, I…read moredon't come here for the food (especially the wings), but if I want to enjoy a game with a crowd BW3 makes my list. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Return) Atmosphere - Buffalo Wild Wings leans into the sports theme pretty heavily. There are TVs all over the walls. If you're looking to watch a game, there's a 90% chance it will be on TV. If it's not, just ask. I made my visit during the World Cup and NBA Finals, and our section was pretty full. Speaking of which, BW3 appears to have one section with bar height seats and tables and another is standard height. 1 Star. Service - I read many of the 1 Star Reviews, and they all complained about the service, but I've never had bad service here. Upon entering, the host/hostess asked how many were in our party and then directed us to a seat with a perfect view of the game. Then we met our server, who was very friendly, attentive, and always smiling. We felt very welcome and never had any issues with getting help, even as our section was getting crowded due to the NBA Finals on TV. 2 Stars. Food - Ok, I don't like the food here. I come for the atmosphere, the wings are over sauced, and all the appetizers are fried. That being said, their Cheesesteak was decent (cheese + beef always a good combo), and the toasted roll held it all together, but it was the only thing that was good. Even the desserts couldn't wash away the taste from everything else. Wings may be in the name, but I'm not a fan. No Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I don't come here for the food. BW3's great for watching sports and cheering for (or against) the teams on TV. It's a fun experience and is cheaper than going to the game in person. Playoffs are fun and I'm betting so is the World Cup. 1 Star.

The Ceviche ($14) was made with pez dorado (mahi-mahi), tomato, lime, jalapeños, onion, and avocado.
