    Oct 2019: I can't even remember how I got it into my head to do 5D, 4D, whatever tech this is, but it got into my head! This was the closest place I could find. The other place was Maryland, and no way was I going to stamp my passport for that. Making the appt was easy enough. They educated me that there was a specific week where you see the baby the best. And to drink tons of water. FYI DRINK TONS OF WATER. You're basically wasting your money if you don't drink enough water. They took my cc info over the phone, which was required to hold the appt. You check in and pay first. I ended up upgrading our package. We got the expensive package that came with a take home video. Impulse purchase. I wore shorts under a loose dress and brought a blanket. When it's your turn, they call your entire group in. You don't have private time to change. I had my hub, older son, and my parents. So come wearing shorts! The room is really pretty! Lots of space to lounge. As for me, I hopped onto the table. I'm pretty sure we had the owner. She was really good! When the time starts, it's kind of nerve racking because you don't have much time... but she knew how to give directions for me to move so she could let us see the best views of the baby. I got to see everrrything at 27 weeks: jawline, ears, puckering, him doing duckface, sucking his hand, kicking his feet to his ear. I loved it! Is it necessary? No. Is it fun? Yes! I had access to the best hospital imagery as well throughout my pregnancy and this is better than hospital-grade live views. Their technology is better, prob bec this is a vanity item. I did think their thermal prints that they gave me were kind of junky. The value for me was in the video. I made my hub just make me screenshots from that. Like my pic attached here is a screenshot from their video. 27 weeks is lettuce. I had to Google bec I couldn't remember, but isn't the detail insane for lettuce?!

    I went in today at 16 weeks for a gender reveal. They have plenty of parking so parking should not be an issue! I appreciate that they was so understanding of me running late. Even with me being late I still only waited about 10 minutes in which I couldn't believe! I was greeted by Maria and her front staff (don't recall name) but they was both nice and very welcoming! They have a nice sitting area (pic attached) also a play area and the ultrasound rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable! My how technology has changed! Our youngest is 18 years old so he was speechless doing the entire ultrasound. The prices are worth it! Dad already set us for a return visit when our baby is bigger

    This place is simply amazing in every aspect. The front desk/tech was very friendly, the atmosphere was beautiful, clean, and very inviting. I do want to take a moment to acknowledge Ms. Maria (the owner of the facility). Maria has got to be the nicest, most comforting person I think I have ever come in contact with. I was having some issues and started to feel a little emotionally un-attached to the pregnancy. Maria spoke to me on the phone at one point and really eased my nerves on a more personal level. I decided to book a 3D scan with her about a week later--hoping to feel more attached to my baby and body. Maria was such a sweet heart from the moment I spoke with her, to the moment I saw my little guy on screen. She was constantly making sweet comments about how beautiful my child looked, and how special he was. Every little kick, flip, or smile my baby made, was celebrated by Maria, in turn, making me feel so much better about my pregnancy and child. I thank her for the support in such a difficult time in my life and for allowing me to have such a positive experience when all I had been receiving were negative experiences from my medical providers and sonographers. Thank you again for your amazing heart and customer service. I plan to be back for our 3rd ultrasound with you in a few weeks!

    Worth it. Easy to park easy to locate. You check in and sign a small form and show proof of prenatal care. You pay up front and then head back. The room is so spacious with beautiful decorations and there's a large screen on the wall. Lights shut off and the video and pictures begin! Maria is such a wonderful woman. So entertaining and she is very exciting and encouraging. She explains everything you are looking at in detail. She'll have you get on your side if that will give you a better view of baby. All you have to do is wear a loose shirt and some loose pants. She will put a towel to tuck into your pants so the gel won't get everywhere. Wow. My husband and mother in law loved it. Afterwards we got a USB with the whole video of what we saw during the appt. Printouts of baby's best takes. I can't recommend this place enough. I was 32 weeks when I went. I would've done the 5d package for three visits if I found this place sooner. I am so happy with Maria and the whole experience. Thank you so much.

    I had a very concerning experience with Washington Radiology regarding billing and patient…read moreinformation security. I called their office to ask how and where I could pay my bill. The receptionist provided me with a phone number for billing. When I called that number, I provided my credit card information, but the call suddenly went silent. I tried calling back several times and received no answer. I then contacted Washington Radiology again and explained the situation. To my surprise, I was informed that the number I had been given was incorrect and was not associated with their organization. As a result, I had unknowingly provided my credit card information to an unknown party because of the information provided by their office. I repeatedly requested to speak with a supervisor, but I was told that no supervisor was available. The receptionist assured me that the matter would be investigated and that someone would follow up with me. Since this occurred on a Friday, I called again on Monday to check on the status. I was told that the supervisor was still investigating the situation, but no updates, explanation, or resolution were provided. What is most frustrating is that I still do not know the correct amount I owe, and the only options offered were to call the correct billing department or pay in person. I was left concerned about the security of my financial information and disappointed by the lack of urgency, communication, and accountability shown in handling this matter. Patients should be able to trust that they are receiving accurate billing information, especially when sensitive financial information is involved. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling unsupported and worried about the protection of my personal and financial information.

I physically watched them fax the order to them, oh well. So today, we drove over there in person to schedule an appt. and they told her, "oh, we don't perform that MRI here and then never offered to help her schedule elsewhere". That piece of information would have been helpful before we drove all the way over there from Chantilly. The person at the front desk said that she was "too busy" even though my mother was the only one at the front desk at the time (approx. 1:30pm on Tuesday February 3, 2026). My friendly and mild-mannered mother told the woman at reception that "in her (88) years she had never received such poor service" and walked out the front door. I didn't just feel bad for my mother but I felt bad for all the elderly people that must go thru something similar. It's not easy to get out at that age and drive across town thru the cold and snow, just to find out that (MRI of Reston) CAN'T and ultimately WON'T help you. They say that there's "no second chance to make a first impression". That was never more evident than what we experienced today. For those who seek a better choice, (Rayus Radiology of Fairfax).     I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Fairfax Vascular Center has been so consistently…read morefrustrating and unprofessional that I feel obligated to warn others. For the past several months , we have been actively trying to move forward with a necessary treatment. What should have been a straightforward process has turned into a drawn-out, exhausting ordeal marked by incompetence, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability. To start, they lost our medical records (a fundamental failure for any healthcare provider). This alone caused delays, but it was only the beginning. When attempting to resolve the issue, I was met with rude and dismissive behavior from reception staff, including being yelled at and, on multiple occasions, given information that later proved to be outright false. It is deeply concerning to be treated this way when advocating for necessary medical care. The internal coordination appears equally broken. At one point, the doctor failed to submit his notes , further delaying treatment with no proactive follow-up or acknowledgment. Meanwhile, I have been repeatedly promised callbacks that never happen . Each time I follow up, I am met with excuses or forced to restart the explanation of our situation from scratch. I have escalated this issue multiple times to supervisors, yet nothing meaningfully changes. The pattern remains the same: poor communication, missed responsibilities, and zero ownership of mistakes. At this stage, I am left with no confidence in this organization's ability to provide safe or reliable care. My next steps will be to formally escalate this beyond the practice: * Filing a complaint with Inova Schar , as their association with Fairfax Vascular Center reflects poorly on their reputation and standards of care * Submitting formal complaints to the Virginia Board of Medicine , which oversees physician conduct and professional standards * Reporting the administrative and patient care failures to the Virginia Department of Health Professions, which regulates healthcare facilities and licensing * Considering a complaint with the Joint Commission , which accredits healthcare organizations and investigates quality-of-care concerns Patients deserve competent, respectful, and responsive care--especially when dealing with serious medical conditions. Unfortunately, Fairfax Vascular Center has demonstrated the opposite at nearly every step. I strongly urge others to think carefully before entrusting them with your care. Note: I have escalated this within their office and have only been lectured how they are not responsible for any of the failures. So, when you see them respond on Yelp with a response that says "we are so sorry; please do call us" please do know that this is completely their marketing hype. They don't care and guess what? I do - no way will I let this go.
