I don't usually take the time to leave reviews, but Sierra Carpet Care really impressed me. Very good service and professional results. They were great at getting pet odor out of the carpet, but what really stood out to me was that I asked for a "ballpark" estimate as to what it would cost to remove the pet odor. The man told me the range of what it could be from low to high depending on how bad the odor was. I secretly rolled my eyes because when a service company gives you a price range it almost always lands in the upper end of what the estimate was. Not the case this time. Sierra Carpet Care responded quickly with a general estimate and additional information. After going over the information received from a few different companies I decided to go with Sierra Carpet Care. Scheduling an appointment was easy and they were able to get out a few days later. Brian came out and confirmed the estimated price, the only difference was I ended up having an area rug and an ottoman cleaned that wasn't in my initial request, which added to the cost. Extremely professional and great business. They were on time to the scheduled appointment and even called when they were about 10 minutes away. It was nice that I was able to get an appointment in the same week I called. The prices are fair and competitive. I used a coupon in the value saver but I have a feeling it still would have been decent pricing without that coupon. I have 6 year old carpet in great shape so I wanted to have them cleaned since we just moved in about 8 months ago. They cleaner was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, he did a great job in a timely manner. If you are looking to get your carpets cleaned I highly recommend them, I'm not sure how all their services are or how well they can take deep stains out since I didn't have any. Mike is AMAZING! I messaged him this morning on Yelp and he was able to fit me in within a couple of hours for a red wine stain. He was completely up front in that the stain wouldn't be completely gone. He did a wonderful job and it is much lighter after treatment. He even cleaned the rest of the carpet in our living room just because he is such a nice guy. We had them out to stretch our Berber carpeting and clean them as well. We have a large home and 85% of it is Berber carpeted. This was a major project which took them 5 hours. Brian & Mike did a terrific job. Berber is a very stiff and difficult carpet to work with but the results were amazing. In addition they had to move some very heavy furniture. I wanted so badly to love this local business, but our experience was terrible. The guy refused to wear protective booties over his shoes and had a general bad attitude the entire time he was in my house. As he looked at the sizes of our rooms he made gestures as if he was doing us a favor to do his job. The guy was like a bull in a China shop and caused several dings to my walls and even chipped off a portion of my stair railing. After the carpet was dry I noticed several areas where the guy failed to clean (he left large gaps between strokes). I will never use this company again! read more

I got my carpets cleaned a couple weeks ago and they're still sparkling clean. I live in the Citrus Heights area so we had a gentleman named Mike clean our carpets. He was punctual, professional and friendly. My carpets had heavy traffic areas that I thought wouldn't easily get up. I was impressed, our carpets looked brand new. Only issue I had was the carpet took overnight to dry due to the heavy traffic areas. It was a moderate inconvenience but we survived. read more

Gave me a 12-2 window for carpet re-stretching. Tech arrived 20+ minutes past 2 which threw off my afternoon plans. That being said, did a good job and carpets looked much better. Bryan was out to repair 3 spots in my carpet where my dog dug to make a bed. He also repaired a spot where three seams were supposed to come together. He was right on time (a bit early even). He is very knowledgeable and is VERY good at what he does. You can barely see where he pieced in new pieces of carpet, and the surrounding carpet is 7 years old! I got my carpet, tile/grout clean last Friday June 3. They were on time. Bryan did an excellent job on tile and grout. I am very happy with his work, The carpet was done by other person.... there are some heavy traffic areas that looks like not that clean. At the time he left the carpet was still wet so did not show how clean it was. When I called Sierra they will come back to redo the area that looks not too clean.
