Additionally, we pointed out one tank where one of the fish was being incessantly bullied and another tank with a dead fish, and all she goes is "hmm yep looks like it" and then walks back to the front and continues talking to her regulars. Absolutely no help and her lack of concern for the fish conditions makes me wary about purchasing anything from there. Ended up going to another store that had incredible service and I now have a wonderful set up. Would NOT recommend this place and certainly wouldn't ever spend a dime here out of principle.

When I contacted the owner, I was told that in order to discuss a resolution, I would need to provide the deceased fish, full tank parameters, and the original receipt...even if the fish had already been responsibly removed and disposed of. While requesting water parameters and proof of purchase is understandable, requiring the physical body of the fish after proper disposal is unreasonable. It also feels dismissive to immediately suggest that the issue lies with my tank or tank mates. I maintain a well-established, heavily planted aquarium with stable parameters and compatible species, and I have successfully introduced fish from other retailers without any problems. Based on these experiences, I will not be returning to this business. Not to mention the lady seems to hover over you the whole time you're trying to shop and it makes you feel rushed.

For those complaining about customer service... this depends on how busy they are. Some of y'all forget these are human beings just like you. If someone calls off, or their internet shuts down, or they just have an overall bad day, of course that's going to affect their service. Calm down, you're buying fish, not survival supplies. And you are buying from people like me who probably prefer animals to other humans....... for clear reasons. And if you buy plants and get snails... lol, welcome to planted tanks. Don't overfeed, and they'll control their own numbers. Get some assassin snails, they're fun to watch hunt. As for dirty tanks or sick fish, that happens-- but I see it minimally here vs other fish stores. Overall, most of the fish I've bought here have been healthy, and most issues I have had were usually my fault. Majority of my interactions with the employees have been pleasant, but I recognize most of them as fellow introverts.
