They only acknowledged their regulars. By the time the lady FINALLY asked us what we needed, she couldn't even answer our questions because she kept stopping to talk to her regulars. Really made us feel unwelcome and like we were interrupting her social time. Additionally, we pointed out one tank where one of the fish was being incessantly bullied and another tank with a dead fish, and all she goes is "hmm yep looks like it" and then walks back to the front and continues talking to her regulars. Absolutely no help and her lack of concern for the fish conditions makes me wary about purchasing anything from there. Ended up going to another store that had incredible service and I now have a wonderful set up. Would NOT recommend this place and certainly wouldn't ever spend a dime here out of principle.

The grooming manager asked to talk to my sister outside, and I'm assuming this is when Melissa purposely cut him up. Both of his eyes, nose, chest, groin, and left testicle are cut badly. He's just been lying down, refusing to eat or play. We are VERY unhappy with this service and the customer service. We also regret not checking the reviews. This is nothing unusual at this location.

I honestly learned more in 15 minutes talking with him in the store than I did after spending hours researching forums and groups trying to solve issues with my FX6 filter setup. It is rare to find someone who genuinely cares more about helping you succeed than simply making a sale. I had been going to PetSmart for about a year for my Cavapoos grooming. I decided to switch it up…read moreand try Petco. The cost seemed to be about the same. We walked in and I noticed a lot of dry pee spots throughout the store an a LOT of barking as we neared the Groomers. I was starting to be a little hesitant to drop him off but after waiting in line a good 8 minutes or so, we both calmed down a bit. I made an appointment online for the brush n bath and knew the price was going to be about $80. I told the gentleman at the front that my pup also needed his nails cut bad and he upsold me on the Essentials plus. (They really do try and upsell here and will try to get you to do the membership package and bill you every month.) My total grooming was $93 but let me tell you it was THE BEST GROOM my pup has ever had!! His fur is so soft (even after a week) Bailey did the best job. I don't want my pup to loose his curls so I just like him to be air dried. I've requested this before at Petsmart an he was given back to me damp with no real type of cut what so ever! It was horrible! I will continue to go to Petco and ask for Bailey!! All the dogs that came out from being groomed looked great! You even get the 8 groomers free! Thanks Bailey!

I have to admit, the lure is mesmerizing when you see those adorable cute puppy faces!! The place was very busy with potential puppy parents, and the salespeople were extremely respective (not aggressive). If you approached a sales person, they were pleasant, maybe offer you to hold a puppy (in a contained safe area) and if you seemed interested they would explain the purchasing process and the benefits of buying a pup from Petland. I was able to see each dog eye to eye through glass, it was a wonderful experience (see my pics). Now, let's be honest: Petland is a sensitive topic. Their reputation is...well, let's call it "controversial." They're known for being pricey because they sell purebred puppies, which naturally cost more than the mixed-breed cuties you find at shelters. Toss in their business model--fancy warranties, extensive health checks, and a marketing budget that could fund a small movie--and you've got the recipe for a luxury puppy experience. Critics claim their dogs come from puppy mills, but I haven't fact-checked that. While I was there, I chatted with a customer who'd just bought a Maltese puppy from Petland and was waiting for her complimentary microchip. She raved about the process, saying Petland offers a bunch of services with their puppies. She seemed thrilled and said her puppy has been healthy and happy. Even if you're not in the market for a dog (note: they only sell dogs), the store itself is pretty impressive. I've included in my Yelp review pics, rows of toys, colorful leashes, food bowls and more. I left happy with a Texas-made leather-scented Circle E candle that I'd been hunting for ages. So, I didn't leave with a puppy, but I did leave with a hard to find candle ... and a slightly more open mind.

She almost died , the Creekside vet saved our dog, but she spent 3 days at vet . I reported to Humane society in McKinney . Stay far away, McKinney Pet Land is terrible.
