I'm still having mixed reviews about this salon. It's very clean and cute, however some of the staff are just plain old rude. Nikki did my friends nails a couple weeks ago and she was so pushy, short, and rude. She seemed annoyed we were there and she was having to do her job. Unfortunately, when I went to have my nails done this weekend I ended up getting Nikki. I had a picture with the name of the gel polish I wanted and when I showed her she kept saying look at the books and pick a color. I said I don't need to look at the books because I have my color right here including the name of it and the brand. She rudely said "do you want me to pick out for you or something?" I kinda just looked at her in disbelief. You WORK here and know the salon better than I do? She was rough with my hands and just seemed so annoyed. No sense of humor what so ever. Definitely going to look for another salon with technicians that don't seem like they hate their job and are annoyed that you're there and Nikki should try putting a smile in her face and being a little more kind. read more

Amazing. I have been getting the dip done for about 3 years now in Sacramento but moved to Nevada for work. I'm so glad I finally found a place close to home that can do the dip and do it right! I've been driving to California every two weeks but now that I found this nail spa I won't have to. Mai was very funny and did such a good job on my nails. I just moved to Reno and this is the worse pedicure I have ever experienced since moving her. Owner(Maya) was by herself. When I walked in, I asked if they had time for a walk-in. She said yes and to pick my color. I sat on the pedicure chair for less than 2 mins, soaked my foot for less than 1 min and she began working on my foot. I simply pointed at the problem areas of callus build up on top of my toe and OMG...!!! I guess I asked the wrong question. With a stern voice, het response was, "you need to relax and let me do my job" and continue to mumble and talk badly about my request. I was merely POINTING (not touching just pointing at the callus near the top of my toe to explain what I would like done. She kept mumbling and repeating herself that I need to wait and let her do her job and that I don't need to tell her what to do. WOW!!! So I kindly asked her to stop what she was doing and will pay for the 10 mins I was there. She continued to talk out loud and states, I wasted her time. I actually saved you time lady and paid $20 for the 10 mins I was there. I've had pedicures for 15+ yrs and never been spoken to or treated this way. Salons usually ask what I would like done and listens to my request: I hope this is not typical for nail salons in Reno. read more

I started going to this location when it was Highland, but I am impressed with what the new owners (Miya and her husband) have done with the place. Infinity is nice and clean, and they accommodated me as a walk in without any wait. Miya did excellent work on my nails, and she is FAST! Literally took her about 45mins for a take-off, acrylic overlay, and gel polish. She shaped them perfectly, and they aren't thick -- even with the overlay and several coats of polish. read more

I am giving 1 star based off of a recent experience. I traveled to Reno with my sister and was so excited for her to come to my favorite nail salon that I had been going to for months. Andy has done my nails month after month and I have never been disappointed. When we got there and he started on my sisters acrylic fill and then he was going to move on to do a dip manicure for me. Once he completed my sisters nails he had instructed her to go sit at a pedicure station, and this is where things went downhill. Nancy was instructed to begin my sisters pedicure and for a little background my sister has acrylic on her big toes. My sister requested that the acrylic just be filed and not cut because she liked the way were currently shaped. Well Nancy had another idea and completely denied my sister's request and cut the acrylic all the way down. My sister looked at me and I knew something was wrong. She then sent me a picture of what Nancy had just done and I showed Andy who is completing my dip, and he immediately turned to tell Nancy to ask her what happened. Nancy then continued to say that nothing was wrong and she said my sister's nails were too long and now they were now "perfect" which was far from the truth. (The client is the one that is paying for a service and they should get what they request.) Andy got up and looked at my sister's toes and told Nancy to stop and that he would correct the problem and complete her pedicure. Once my manicure was completed, I sat next to my sister and Andy started working on correcting what was done. While he was correcting the issues, Nancy continued to walk past multiple times and look at Andy's work and look at us with a dirty look. It made my sister and I feel very uncomfortable. My friends, Kelly and Maura, recommended this nail salon. I am so glad they did! The salon is CLEAN and well organized. They use top of the line products and don't take short cuts. The owner, Maya, helped me and my nails look amazing! I used the powder for the first time and love the fact that it has vitamin E and calcium in the powder to strengthen my nails. This place is in a great location (if your in the south end of town) right next to Raley's. I went in on a Sunday afternoon and had to wait about 20 minutes or so before I could get my nails done. No big deal since I was not in a rush. They were short handed. I would recommend making an appointment though. Even though it says "walk-ins welcome" from what I gathered while I was waiting is to make an appointment. The staff was friendly and Tami did a great job on my nails. Awesome service and great selection! I called yesterday for a last minute, 5-person, mani & pedi appointment, and was able to be scheduled today (Sunday!). The salon had a nice atmosphere, it was air conditioned and did not smell like chemicals! Everything appeared to be sanitary. Our 5-person party did matching powder dip nails as well as gel toes and the staff was able to get us all through fairly quickly, without once rushing us. Both my manicurists were very efficient while also very meticulous. All employees are very friendly. There is a bathroom and sink open for use. They had an amazing selection of paints, gels, and sns powders. The dip powders create an awesome effect that seems to be pretty "hardy". It was $45 for a full set with sns powders on tips and $45 for my pedicure ($30 + $15 for gel rather than regular polish). Overall, i'm very pleased with the service and quality and will definitely return in the future! read more
