No telling me "My wife had to be there for the initial visit" (That is also a timeshare selling tactic) No Special "back to school pricing" gimmicks. No buy one get one free. No LYING and saying the competition makes inferior windows (Then when you see what Window universe does it is actually better than the other company) I got 18 quotes for work on my house 5 window quotes. so I am tired and cranky. I didnt call Window Universe intially. (my mistake) I had one company (Who I wont review) that was all the way up to getting a downpayment from me. They seemed good initially but I had to fire them when they didnt show up (it was a fourth offence) Too bad. Well I called Window Universe they came out fast. The quoting process was fast. The person (lance) who came out was very personable. Now I didnt realize this but their quote was 1500 less than the other guy I fired. Also Lance is a dialed in person. He called Provia on my door and he told me that the door I was getting was not compatible so we had to switch. The previous guy was going to give me that door with the side lights. (Was it going to even work??) yeah so there was that. The appointment took minutes. We also talked about basement glass block windows. Their prices. Right on the sheet AND they were really good about 1/2 what I expected to pay. So I am going to do that too before the winter. Anyhow when all was said and done Window Universe was less than the guy I almost used and Lance double checked he got the proper sized windows and sidelights. Great experience and I still have 3+ weeks before the windows show up. Ill come back and add some pictures after it is done. I know it is going to be great.

This gutter leaked over my head as I came out my door and went on to leak worse until today it froze over and every last bit they put up came down the week I finally paid it off. 5 years &7000 dollar for one side of the house. This company is horrible! I had a total bathroom remodel. The end results were disturbing and…read moreugly. I had bathroom done at the end of Sept 2022. I am still waiting for them to fix everything. They have tried on several occasions to fix the vanity ( all drawers are crooked)not align as they should. They want to redrill the hole to make the faces of drawers straight but thats it.And in the process of the remodel they bent the pipe on my radiator which is my heat source. The radiator now leaks and ruined the new floor they just laid. At first they were very apologetic and said they would pay for the repairs. Now they are claiming that they didn't do the damage. I have receipts from my hvac company stating they were just out at beginning of Sept for full system inspection and states there were no leaks or bent pipe. Unique homes still will not help resolve the damage they caused. I have a bbb claim at this point but seems useless. This company also offers 100% guarantee that the customer will be completely satisfied or they refund the sale price - wrong - they do not stand behind their work or guarantees. These are only a couple of main issues and there is a Ling list of repairs due to poor workmanship they did. This company is not consumer friendly, once they have your money - they are done with you & don't care if their services are horrible. Run away from this company... I would attach photos if possible so you can see my nightmares from this company.

Mark replaced a window because the seal was broken and water was coming in. Mark came out and I pointed out the issue, he denied responsibility but he agreed he would come back and flash the bottom of the window so water wouldn't come in. After two calls we set up an appointment for him to return. The next day he didn't show up when after setting up an appointment. I called him he said he had forgot and he hung up on me. He never showed up nor did he return my call. Would you want to do business with a company this company ??

I was told it would be up to 8-12 weeks until receiving the products so I told them I'd have to return to Ohio for it to just give me a couple of weeks notice. I ended up getting a call that they wanted to install the next day after only 3-4 weeks! That was fast! But I wasn't able to get back there that quickly and had to make arrangements for someone else to let them in. My not getting to be there I have no idea how it looks or works. According to my tenant, the sliding door wasn't shutting properly or locking and the paint needs another coat or 2. I called Empire and they went out at my tenants convenience and fixed the door/lock. Awesome service! Great pricing. And we will see how the quality holds up after a winter and a summer in Ohio. I have a great feeling that Empire being a family business will only be a phone call away if needed and I love supporting those businesses! These are the only pics I have so far. I went on the roof with him and he noticed damage in some areas. My insurance company sent out one of their inspectors and he noted the damage. As always my insurance company nickel and dimed the situation to do the bare minimum of repairs. The Restoration Guys know what they are doing, they got me a full roof replacement . It took some time and some fighting with my insurance company, but they guided me through the process and in the end the whole roof was replaced for just the cost of my $1,000 deductible. It looks great! And I highly recommend them Just be patient through the process.
