Got a gel manicure yesterday. 4 out of 5 nails on my left hand are chipped. On my right hand, the nail polish has somehow completely come off two nails. It's been less than 24 hours.... This is my second day coming to this place and I've been disappointed each time. First, they are incredibly slow. I made an appointment for both times and the first time I went, no one worked on me until an hour after my appointment. This time around, they started exactly when my appointment was but, I didn't get out after 3 hours (I had dipping powder manicure and a regular pedicure). Both times, my nail technician was either Facetiming someone on her phone while working on me (first visit) OR watching TV on her phone (second visit). Mind you, I worked with three different nail technicians each time. Finally, the quality. I had bumps on my pinky and my nails had ragged edges. After telling my nail technician multiple times to smooth it out, she didn't understand what I was trying to say because she thought they looked fine. If I am paying $65 for my nails to get done, I would hope that the edges would at least be smooth. The massages, which are typically my favorite part of the experience when getting my nails done, during the manicure and pedicure were terrible -- it was rushed with no pressure at all! I am highly disappointed and I usually never write reviews but I felt like this place is overpriced and had low quality service. I know this review sounds rude, but I was very kind to the workers here and even provided tip because I know that it's the best that they can do. I just wanted to write this review for the people who may be new to this area who are trying to find a place with good service -- try somewhere else that is cheaper and better quality. After booking my appointment and going to this spa for a year one day before thanksgiving I made my appointment to go after work I went and And by the check in disk no one acknowledged I sat down waiting to be checked in then this white woman walk in they asked her if she had an appointment she said no but she need a pedi they put her in the chair so I stand up and said I made and appointment for pedi and dipping powder nails they said oh someone will be with you they had two trainee give me a pedi in less than 10 minutes and messed up my nails cause none of them I've ever seen before so I went home and cried because I've never witnessed such racism before I stopped going after that and buy at home kit to do my nails my self read more

I've visited this salon a few times since it re-opened in Phase 2. It is very clean and I originally really liked it. They do online scheduling, have a nice assortment of colors, and the manicurists are very nice. The first couple of times I went I was asked to fill out a form and sign it related to Covid, but I was not asked to do that this past time, even though the forms were still there. I was seated directly next to someone else for a pedicure last time I went, not socially distanced. Other places I've been seat customers every other chair at a minimum. Today when I was there I observed two clients not wearing their masks at all times. Disappointed as I liked this place but will not return as they have gotten sloppy on Covid safety measures. read more

Hands down best nail salon around!! My best friend, our daughters, and I have been getting our nails done for years. Just found this gem. Lei and Liyah are amazing and actually care about your nails health, soft touch and beyond a thorough job. They make sure you are happy no matter what and if you bump your nails, they won't let you leave until they are fixed. So many places say 'no, we dont do that...' but _here_ they do pretty much anything!! Nail dipping to ombre to foil to marbling... to nail designs, etc... Lei is so creative.. just say 'do something that looks nice' and done!! And pricing... same as the other nail places! Such a very friendly atmosphere. Can spend all day easily! Right next door to Starbucks, so convenient for a lovely few hours of pampering. And of course you could just enjoy complimentary wine, soda, water, etc... This is it, our new home for nails. I've been going to Infinity since it opened. It has become my usual nail spot despite some cons. Katie does the best dip and design manicures! Her work is always stellar! Dao is the best for pedicures. He is so friendly and kind to everyone which makes the experience even better. Some cons to note about Infinity: it takes a huge chunk of time. I've had to wait long beyond my appointment time & with multiple customers techs are doing multiple people at once. expensive -- the quality of Katie's work is worth paying the 60-80$ (dip with gel design, no acrylics) however sometimes it seems steep in relation to the design & work. so be prepared to pay a good amount if you want designs. Worst customer service of my life, never ever stepping foot in this place again and I recommend anyone who is new avoid this place they do not value new customers run to another place. It was already 10 minutes past my appointment and it was actually my nail tech Katie. Who didnt bother to ask me what I needed. She was BEYOND rude, barely made eye contact with me. She looked annoyed that she was going to do my nails, and then proceeded to tell me that she was waiting for a table. However, two people were sitting there waiting for their friend, so she didn't even bother to ask them to move so that she could do my nails. Again worst place I've ever been to. I have been coming to the salon for a long time now. I come once every two weeks on the dot for my dip manicure. Not because my nails are bad/chipped by then, but because my nails grow so fast! I absolutely LOVE it here. The place is very modern and looks super clean. I find everyone who works here so much fun and nice. Before I get into my experience I would like to give a thank you to the team the tech grace and Katie. My mother has alzhiemers and still loves getting her nails done but we know she won't be able to get them done for much longer. I was hesitant to bring her to the salon because of her condition and how the employees would react or be able to help her. I should not have had any reservations about it now that I know how they were. They were amazing my mother was placed with a absolutely wonderful lady nail tech named grace. She was so patient and never got frustrated. She also looked out for my mom her and Katie made sure we sat next to each other. She also walked her to the nail drying station but was also open to her just staying next to me. My mom has the tendency now of falling asleep places now and she ended up falling asleep at the drying table. Just in her chair of course. No one bothered her though they made she she got water and were very kind and just went with the experience. I plan to bring her again when she's having a good day again but it was very special to me so thank you. Now for my experience here, My nail tech is Katie and she is amazing I would 100% recommend her. I am adventurous when it comes to my nails and she is always so excited to try something new. I usually work with her on what we should do for the next two weeks. I love the styles and colors she comes up with. We have great conversation it's fun! What's really nice is unlike other places I have been she is not always trying to up-charge me. In fact, it's the opposite! she tried to get it so I only would have to come every three weeks so it wouldn't be so expensive. On many occasions now I've let her try out what ever she wants to do. A lot of the time those manicures are cheaper! What I am trying to say is I feel the techs are really looking out for there customers. There willing to work with you and are open to trying crazy designs or just fun! They focus on you through out the appointment and always check if you like the shape or color/design. The pedicure chairs don't look like they've been wiped down and the walls in the pedicure room are nasty! Floor is grimy. All was surprising being as that it's a fairly new place. The chairs are so damn close to each other everyone is basically breathing down each other's neck. For the price of the gel manicure, I would've wanted at least the polish not to be on my cuticles, basically on my finger! Lady I went too was basically cutting my cuticles and panting my nails with one hand without the other hand supporting the finger (if that makes sense) the whole experience was horrible, honestly. This is one of the newest nail salons in the Reston/Herndon/Sterling area. I went there on 8/23/19 for a gel pedi and an SNS mani; however, after the experience summarized below, I decided not to get the mani and I am unsure if I will return. Pricing & attempt to up-sell:a gel pedi cost $65, which is roughly $20 more then it costs at other comparable local salons. You get nothing extra for the higher price point, and you actually get fewer services - since most local salons charge $47-48 and include paraffin wax. The attendant serving me refused to apply enough pressure to properly exfoliate my feet and instead wanted me to pay more for the callus remover. Since this service is already circa $20 more than elsewhere, something "extra" should be included and I should not have to purchase an extra service to receive basic exfoliation. While the attendant was chatting with her fiancé, I took the pumice and removed the dead skin myself. No chemical callus remover was needed. Service: (Pedi): the attendant was slow, stopped to chat with her fiancé who dropped in and hurt me twice with both the cuticle clipper and the E-filer. And after she hurt me twice, I was never able to relax as you should be able to during a pedicure. (Dirty glass): The salon serves free beverages, to include wine, but they were out of wine during my appt. (since this was a Friday night and the start of the weekend, I thought this was bad form). I requested water and was served water in a dirty glass(particles floating in the beverage). I informed the staff who told me that it was residue from a slice of lemon that was previously in the glass. Ok - that makes sense, but it confirms that the glasses are not properly cleaned. Although they brought me a new glass of water, I decided not to drink it. Salon: the salon is very nice and I can see the intent they are doing for. However, with the higher price point with no additional services or richer experience and being served a complementary beverage in a dirty glass--they really need to work on their execution. Final outcome: the pedi came out fine, but I was never able to relax and enjoy what should have been a relaxing post work evening. The service took about 40 minutes longer than it should have, and after experiencing the above, I was tired and decided to not get the SNS mani. I am not really sure if I will return. There was nothing special about this salon to justify the higher prices and the service was really subpar. read more

I went when Infinity Spa and Nail first opened. At the time, they were running a 40% off promo for groups of three or more. To be safe, we (my group) took a picture of their promo when we made our appointments and booked referencing the promo. Check in When I was checking in, a woman was upset at the counter. I was unsure what the concern was about it was an interesting first impression. Also, I was not acknowledged for 5-10 minutes due to the issue even though there were other staff members available. I even held the door opened for the lash technician who later ended up doing my service. Service Full set of lashes | 2 STARS - 2 Hours - The lash technician had me look at pictures of lashes on her phone, we discussed the look that I was going for and two hours later I had a full set. I LIKED not LOVED the lashes. Essentially, they lasted 2 weeks prior to needed to be refilled... After day one, they were already falling out. This is a no no in my book- lashes should last three weeks, especially with a 2 hour appointment. -During the appointment, ANOTHER tech kept coming into the room to: -ask my tech questions -get items -interrupt... Towards the end, the tech quietly asked my lash tech how much longer as they were attempting to work out the need for the room. -Unprofessional | GET OUT | Work out the kinks | Am I at a spa? I did not say anything, but was truly stunned that they other tech had interrupted my appointment SO MANY TIMES and even attempted to rush my service. -Aftercare: The directions were texted to me. Typically, I am a digital gal, but when one is paying for a $200 service an aftercare card should be an option. Especially, when your appointment is being rushed, your tech's English is limited and this just seems CHEAP. Understaffed One of my girlfriends, who had an appointment, still hadn't gotten her nails done 2 hours after my lash appointment. Why? She had an appointment. The manager, who was very sweet, was working on another client and eventually got to her. Tiny Bit of Drama At some point, the owner arrived and attempted to state that he would not honor the promotion he had posted for 40% off. He then would not speak to anyone. This greatly stressed out a member in my group. When it came time to pay- the owner did begrudgingly honor the promotion he had posted. However, his lack of professionalism really took away from some of his patrons experiences. Some time has passed and I still have the bitter aftertaste of this experience. I did not love my lashes, the salon was understaffed, my appointment was not ontime and interrupted by staff, and I truly dislike owners who exhibit the mannerisms that this one did. I went here based on the proximity to my house and the positive reviews. Well, I came in and it was empty but I still had to wait. I had some waxing done and a really sweet lady named Sabu did a great job threading my eyebrows, lip and chin. I also got a gel Mani and pedí. I was only offered water, but they were offering others treats and wine. The lady getting a pedicure next to me had a menu of what kind of nail services she wanted, I was not offered options. I had a gentleman do my nails. Barely looked at me in the face, nor did he speak hardly any English I think. He was so rough and I felt like I was being rushed. He missed a few spots in my toe nails and he seemed confused on what I was trying to ask him to do. One lady was making sure if everything was alright and that was very nice of her. I paid $70 for a regular polish mani/pedi, and the technician didn't even cut or shape my nails which I found super odd (and I definitely needed it done, I only get my nails done once a month) -- basically just cut cuticles and put polish on. Facilities are really nice, it was easy to get a same day appointment, and it's easy parking, but I didn't think the technicians were very professional. My technician kept complaining constantly about wanting to get off work early and then proceeded to say some incredibly inappropriate things to me (literally asked me out of the blue if I had hypertension, for no reason) and it was pretty off-putting. Pros: salon encouraged me to come back and have my gel redone on nails that chipped 2 days after having them done. Salon is clean, staff is friendly. Cons: after 3 gel manicures I can say with confidence that they just don't last here. Each manicure chipped on several nails within three days. While it's nice that they were open to repairing the nails, I simply don't have the time to maintain/re-maintain my manicures that often. My previous salon's gel manicures lasted 14 days or longer. I seldom had an issue. I'm not sure if it's the gel or the application that is causing my manicures to chip so quickly but I'm not comfortable paying a premium for gel that won't last. read more

I came as a walk-in, and was told that it'd be a 10-min wait. After 25 min, a few people came in with appointments, so I asked if the wait would be much longer and I was told it wouldn't be. After waiting for 40 min, the owner finally said the wait would be an additional 30 min AFTER I had to ask her again. Just say you're busy and that you can't accommodate walk-ins rather than making people wait forever. I will say even the ladies with appointments were taken 15-20 min late while I was waiting. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!! I went this week with a friend after work because they were offering a grand opening special, which was 30% off your service for you and a friend. When we walked in, it felt like no one was there but a woman asked us what we wanted done. We both asked for SNS manicures. Then, we proceeded to wait 20 minutes for us to even be taken to a table. At 5pm, you should have more than 3 nail techs working because that is prime time for people to come in. At this point, I was no longer able to get a manicure because I had to be somewhere an hour later so I just got my former SNS removed. I noticed an hour after leaving there were bumps on my fingers from areas that the base coat was not fully removed. Meanwhile, my friend was given the wrong color, and the technician caused her to bleed TWICE! And when they took off the foil and cotton on my nails, I had a gross amount of dead skin that I have never seen happen before from a year's worth of SNS manicure removal. Lastly, they did NOT honor the promotion we came in for, so both of us paid full price. read more

Ive had very good experience at Infinity in the past, but after today I will never return. I went in for a gel manicure, which was rushed. When I went to pay, I showed the woman taking my money how bubbled three of my nails were. She rolled her eyes and told me I needed to talk to my technician. I spoke to the technician, who told me (demanded) I sit back down so she can fix them. When she was fixing them, the woman I had paid came to the chair I was sitting at and slammed down the $60 cash I had given her (I just asked for $7 back when I handed her $60) along with a ticket that said "Paid" on it. When the woman was done fixing my nails (one was still bubbled, but she was so flustered I just didnt bother), I asked why I got all of the cash back and why the ticket said "Paid." The woman who brought the cash came back to me, very aggressively said "you asked to speak to your technician after you paid??" (whatever that means.. no I hadnt, actually). At this point, both of these two women were incredibly flustered, and were being embarrassingly unprofessional. I understand some customers might be difficult, but not every customer is. Some just want what they pay for. When I pay $45 ($53-$55 plus tip) for a gel manicure, I do not expect it to be bubbled, to my cuticles to be covered with paint, etc. I *for certain* do not expected, nor do I tolerate, being treated unprofessionally. I really wanted to like this place. It's close, convenient, and has a nice atmosphere. I made an online appointment for after work for a spa pedicure and a paraffin manicure, no gel just plain nail polish I had brought myself. When I got there, I had to repeat what exactly I had booked. It's almost like it wasn't in the system or the girls at the front didn't want to look for it. I couldn't remember so I had to dig back through my emails to make sure I relayed the right info since there are like 5 different manicure and pedicure options. I was then seated in my pedicure chair and Vi went to work. One of my gripes with this place is that a spa pedicure here doesn't include paraffin wax. What spa pedicure anywhere doesn't include paraffin wax???? I didn't want to pay the extra amount for the next level pedicure that included it since I was already paying $80 for both this mani pedi combo (remember, not even gel services). The pedicure was overall ok. I've had better for cheaper, it just felt like a basic pedicure. After my pedicure, I went to the next room for my manicure. The room is set up weird, just not like any salon I've been to. It felt kind of cramped. My manicure felt a little rushed as there was a group of ladies waiting for their services that came in during my pedicure. I kid you not, my manicure didn't even make it 12 hours before it started to just peel away. I didn't get gel because I've had a bad prior experience, but every time I manage to do my nails myself my manicure can last at least a week before showing any wear... this is what bothered me the most about this experience. I was leaving for a trip the next morning with 5+ chipped/peeling nails. I was SO incredibly annoyed!!! My 14 year-old just had her eyebrows done today, 3/27/21. She told the eyebrow technician not to use any products or creams as she has several chemical allergies. She said this 4-5 times. After her eyebrows were done, she felt cream being put on her eyebrows and lids, she looked up and the technician was putting Neosporin on her eyebrows and eyelids!! She is the most allergic to Neosporin! I just looked up Neosporin and it's not even meant to go near the eyes because it's toxic to the corneas! I'm calling the Virginia Department of health tomorrow and reporting them. read more

Always keen on trying new places. But this place is a no no. The guy who did my nails was very clumsy. He almost didn't pay attention to my nails at all and cut some of my skin off when he cut the nails. I have to ask him to stop because he kept poking on my skin. Ouch that hurt a lot. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CUT THE NAILS IF THEY ARE SHORT. But he simply showed no care whatsoever. It made me very nervous and uncomfortable.
