a small portion of the sleeve Colby did for me
Chelsea T.

Everyone here is extremely nice and creates a comfortable and welcoming space to get tattooed. Got a full sleeve done by Colby. Cannot recommended this shop/artist enough !

Absolutely amazing job done by Shauna... now I hope my regular shop doesn't see this review because I am surely not cheating on them... I swear I was just here with a friend and so happened the tattoo gun fell onto my alarm for an hour and a half and tattooed me I promise it was not what it looked like... This is my girlfriends regular tattoo artist and we were going to get some matching tattoos, well matching themed I'm not making... Ok well I wanted a 'salt and peper' tape tattoo and I saw this cute needlepoint they gave me this idea... When I showed her she loved the beer so I decided to split up my two part tattoo and one for each of us... Now we gave the artist a very vague idea of what we wanted and based on each of our opposing style tattoos we each got something quite different and yet very much of the same everything went great shop was clean and follow protocols tattoo is healing up very nicely and everything is looking really great

Great people and a great environment. Jessica does a fantastic job and I will continue to go to this shop for my tattoo needs.

Word to the wise....don't go there drunk or you will get charged $100 for this.....Colby does good work there and has charged me accordingly in the past. This however was not done by him and I'm pretty sure my 8 yr old could've drawn better...lol live and learn I guess

The love of my life!

My artist was Eric Quale. This place is easy to get to, clean inside. I enjoyed Eric he was a pleasure to work with and I enjoyed his company! He took an existing photo that my lovely wife had taken and transposed that onto my left arm. This was a very positive experience. I would recommend working with Eric. My only negative is Eric is not quick to respond to communications, and he was late to my appointment due to transportation issues. I held out for him because he has a history of portrait tattoos and came recommended by another artist.

This is the tattoo I got on my arm of Priest Lake, Idaho. It came out great!

I had a great experience at this studio! My friend and I came in for a few walk in tattoos and Colby met us at the door and was quick to get us started. He was really nice and welcoming along with the rest of the artists and did an amazing job. The shop was very clean and and not at all intimidating. This was my first tattoo and my friends third and Colby and the other artists there did a great job of making us feel comfortable. Both my friend and I are very happy with the experience and the results and we will definitely be going back.

My awesome tortoise by Dean :)
Misty S.

I am so happy with my latest Dean piece. It's hard to believe it all started with a terrible MS Paint picture of a tortoise in a hula skirt playing the ukulele that I had scribbled out at work and emailed off to him. It's great that he has a sense of humor! This is my third "sweet tat" by Dean. He is super talented, creative, and can draw. That means, he'll take the ideas in my brain, make it look good, then expertly transfer that to my skin in permanent form. He and the couple other awesome guys that were there are just cool to talk to too. Being in good company, listening to good music, making jokes, telling stories, and having Dean tap his foot like he's playing the drums really helps pass three hours. My husband and I are already having talks about who gets to see Dean next.

Colby is the man! He executed my vision perfectly, was super friendly, and his pricing was beyond reasonable. He took one of my sketches and made it exactly how I wanted it. I finally found my artist

Where do I start with this place? I had called on a saturday morning about a tattoo idea I have had for months. Asked if there was any way I could get in on that day, because well...I wanted a tattoo on 01/02/2010...it's the same number forwards and in reverse...ANYWAY, called and the receptionist(forgot her name) said she would give me a call if they had any openings. Thus I began a rabid search for other places to get into; I had found an available artist at another parlor but wasn't sold on his portfolio online and cancelled. BUT THEN!! I got a call from Infinity and was told that Rich Cuellar would be available at 2. So 2 o'clock it was!! I went in with some scripts that I had found online but was told that they were too small. So Rich worked his magic and found me some AMAZING fonts to choose from and helped me cut down my quote so that it could fit on my inner bicep. Rich's craft is impeccable. He's fast, but efficient and I have nothing but praises for this man!! And I never felt out of place here. I have had some bad experiences with the holier than thou mentality, just because I wasn't covered with ink. This being my first tattoo, I was definitely up for that. But the environment is chill. Props to the family at Infinity, I'll be going back if I ever decide on another tattoo!

Getting inked by Alice
Kayt D.

I often suffer buyer's remorse. That car I bought? Should have gotten an all-wheel drive. My first house? Should have waited until housing prices went down a little more. That tuna sandwich? Maybe I would've been happier with the fish and chips. I am happy to say that I am perfectly ecstatic with my latest tattoo from Infinity. As an art director I'm picky-picky-picky, and Alice worked with me to fine-tune an idea I had into a brilliant one-of-a-kind piece of art. I'm already booked for another larger piece with Alice in a couple months. She books WAY in advance (think 5-6 months), which actually works with my remorseful tendencies just fine.

I loved my experience at Infinity Tattoo! I got my tattoo done a couple of weeks ago by Leah Greenwood after calling in earlier that day to make an appointment. The environment was very welcoming and Leah was extremely nice. The design was based off of my mother's handwriting. It only took 6 min and it turned awesome.

My finished product by Paul Zenk. I love it!

Jared answered the phone when I first called before my trip into Portland to visit a friend,…read morebecause after searching some shops, New Rose seemed like the best! My friend and I were wanting matching plastic vampire teeth tattoos since it'd be Halloween weekend and he was so kind when I told him what we wanted and mentioned he hadn't finished his flash sheet so he'd add in the teeth, (spoiler, they were PERFECT). The day we were planning on coming in was their planned flash day so we knew we had to anticipate a potential wait. The rainy Portland weather was in our favor because, even though we were unable to make our way in at 10:30AM as he recommended, we ventured in at 3PM and still got a spot in line. Jared was great, adding the text I wanted to my flash, and even touching up a small hand/wrist tattoo that was poorly done by someone else in a different state prior. Truly, so thankful he answered the phone that day bc I got a great vibe from him. He was also able to successfully turn my "splotch" knuckle tattoo (my loving nickname for it) to a beautiful black skull that ACTUALLY STAYED PUT (it was the 4th attempt over an old scar I had and he was the only one to successfully have a tattoo stick on it without it looking weird once healed). Since Jared was short on time before an appt, Ali did my friends matching fangs and they both turned out amazingly. Overall, I now fully intend to make the journey from Sacramento to Portland anytime I want something done so I can specifically have him do it or his shop-mate that does phenomenal portrait style flash/tattoos (she was diagonal from us when we were there - blonde long hair and beanie). The shop was super clean, artists were all super friendly, front desk apprentice was easy on the eyes, what's not love? 100/10 could not recommend this place enough!

She didn't know at first but this was for my daughter, and it was the perfect art work to honor her that fit me perfectly. She also did a tribute tattoo on my other arm for my mom that was in perfect fine line that looks like it was hand written in one strike. She was easy to work with, really fun to talk to, and somehow made 4 hours fly by. I didn't think I'd want another tattoo for awhile but I'll definitely be back to Scapegoat to see Virginia soon. Thanks again!

Sarah listens closely to what you want and then finds a cute, stylish way to make it work. Her placement is precise, she has a firm yet gentle touch, and her use of color is fantastic (both color theory and saturation). I've never been hip and now I'm getting old, so I'm quite used to feeling anxiously out-of-place in tattoo shops, but Scapegoat is more approachable and welcoming than your average shop. They go out of their way to offer water, space heaters, heating pads, masks, or whatever else might make you feel most comfortable. The artists seem to support and treat each other kindly. The bathroom is a work of art. Everything is clean. It's easy to find unmetered parking a couple blocks away. And this is a vegan business to boot! I couldn't ask for more.

Conversation flowed easily and he had a killer music playlist going. Even his partner Hanam was a great guy and seemed vested in the quality of the work being done! Where he really shines, however, is his amazing attention to detail and the incredible quality of his art. I've had this tattoo planned for a long time and he seriously nailed it! Blew every expectation I had for it completely out of the water! Every small detail pops and the color and shading came out amazing! Seriously can't recommend this shop and Toby's artistic ability enough!!

Update: Toby and Nisha had their attorney send me a very aggressive and threatening letter in an…read moreattempt to bully me into removing my review. I made the terrible decision to be tattooed by Toby. I went in to start on a full sleeve, although it wasn't technically a full sleeve but a 3/4 sleeve. I have a tattoo on my upper arm that takes up half of my upper arm. During my 1st appointment we discussed that we are going to keep and incorporate that one. At my 1st appointment Toby told me that it would take 3 sessions since it wouldn't be an actual full sleeve. I paid for a full day session. He told me at my 1st appt that the stop time will be once I tap out. Our first session he ended early and said that his kids were sick. He specifically told me that our next session won't be the same. He also said our next session wouldn't take as long to get started. I went back in for my 2nd session yesterday at 10am. He showed up late like he did for our 1st appt. It wasn't until about 11am that he started drawing on me. It took him about 4 hours to draw on me. Keep in mind we haven't even started on my upper arm. He was drawing on my lower arm. Finally by 3pm we get started tattooing. The table wasn't working properly so he had to reset up a new one. Then some random person walks in looking for a tattoo. He stopped tattooing me to go chat with the person. Then throughout my entire session he purposely inflicts maximum pain. He seems to think that I don't have any large or decent pieces. I have my entire back done. I also have portraits and pieces on my legs. I have good quality work in those areas. I only mentioned to him that I wanted my back covered up, but because I don't like it anymore and don't have those beliefs anymore. It's not due to the quality. The tattoos that he was starting to cover on my arm are much older tattoos that I got when I was younger. Based off of that I suppose he thinks I don't know any better. My ex is also a tattoo artist so I understand needle groupings, heavy hands vs light hands, dry wipe vs wet wipe etc. Throughout my entire session he never finished a single area. He jumps from area to area throughout the entire process. He would randomly jump from my wrist, elbow, side of arm, just all over the place. He opens up the area and works on it for a while, then moves to another area for like 20min or so, then moves back to the area he opened up. He inflicts serious pain. I hinted to him several times that each time you do that it hurts much worse. He never listened and continued to do it. I told him from the start that I wanted to work in a particular area first. He didn't listen. He is super heavy handed intentionally. He dry wipes with a paper towel the whole time. He inflicts maximum pain to attempt to get you to tap early. At the very start of our 2nd session after the marker was drawn on, I flat out asked him will you be able to finish this today to which he yes. By about 10pm he said we should call it a night. I literally only had maybe 1/2 of a half sleeve. There was so much work to complete still. I told him no I want to keep going. He didn't want to but I was persistent. So we get back to tattooing. I asked him flat out why did you tell me that we would have this finished today if that isn't the case. He said well there are a lot of factors like the way a client takes pain. I told him he put me in a ton of pain but I never once stopped him so what do you mean. I told him I feel lied to, taken advantage of, and just how unhappy I was by this and that I won't be continuing with him. I was planning on getting 2 full sleeves, full chest piece, and a cover up on my entire back. I told him you literally told me that for a full day session that it means we stop once I tap out. He got extremely combative. He said that in the fine print says he only tattoos 7 hrs max. I said why did you lie to me then? He ended up calling me an asshole and threatened to stop my work mid session to leave it. He said it's his right to do so. I said that I'd leave a review about this and he said that's "thats fine, I don't give a f". I'm not sure if he ended up texting his family or people or what. But suddenly around midnight all his people showed up at the tattoo studio I guess to try to intimidate me. I paid $ 3,225 in total and I don't have a completed half sleeve. I don't even have a single section of my arm that is complete due to him jumping around constantly. Literally not even one single area of this "half sleeve" is completed. During our argument he scoffed at me and was the mentality of how dare you .. but he admitted flat out a full sleeve is 5 grand. I said okay and I've paid over 3 grand now and I don't even have a completed half sleeve. He refuses to take accountability. He is a very selfish mentality, a liar, and he will gaslight you the entire time. He pretends to be a nice person but he is absolutely not. He takes advantage of people and rips them off.
