I had an absolutely great service here for my iphone. Starting from the staff to their handling of my iphone was amazing. I dropped my phone and had many cracks and my face ID stopped working. Took my phone in for repairs and the staff walked me through the process while also advising me on what to get fix to save the most money. It felt like they were watching out for me and making sure i get the best support. During the fix, they communicated with Apple constantly and ended up getting me a brand new phone for no extra cost. They fought tooth and nail for me and I really appreciated it. I would highly recommend anyone to come to them for any technical repairs. read more

The folks over at ITC were great. Super fast, friendly and they aided me in ordering my own parts online and installing them to save me even more money. They are willing to work with you on all levels of computers old and new; especially with computer models that the Apple Store doesn't want to service anymore. They were even able to help my dad with his computer and he is not well versed in technology. They were also very quick and the turn around time in my case was virtually immediate. Customer service extremely unprofessional from the moment I walked in the door. Left unattended in lobby for 15 minutes. Eventually decide to walk back and see if any one was even in the building once my appointment time had already passed and was rudely shouted at by an employee. Another few minutes passed as I sat in the lobby (Air Conditionless) the same employee came out to process my ticket and initially apologized for the outburst but proceed to rudely handle the conversation. She was very hostile and I refused to give them my business solely because of her. I was in for a corporate device that I would not even be paying for the repairs myself but refused to be talked down to by this woman. No one should be in customer service with the level of disrespect this employee approached me with. They probably do good work there but I won't be back to find out. read more

I dropped off my MacBook on Friday, they ordered and received the part over the weekend, and they completed the repairs by Monday afternoon. I was very impressed with the speed of their service as well as the transparency of the process / communication provided via their ticketing system. I should also note that I was covered by AppleCare+ Coverage during this time. I can't know for sure whether that impacted the level of service I received from ITC, but I do know that it is the reason why I didn't have to pay them a cent. read more

I am a proponent of customer service. Hospitality is a virtue, and unfortunately, it was not extended to me as a paying customer when I arrived to pick up my device on Wednesday September 8, 2021. I had been driving for a while before I received a phone call from Mike telling me my computer is RFP (Ready for Pick-Up). When I arrived at the Information Technology Corporation in Paramus, NJ, I asked the front desk receptionist Sophia Galarza if there was a bathroom I could use. She did not answer my question, instead, she mumbled and responded to me by saying "Due to Covid protocols/restrictions, they can't". Someone is paying you $218.00 for a service they could have completed at any location other than yours, and you refuse to let them use your bathroom due to some made up policy? How about the fact that I also entered the ITC facility maskless? Is that not an ITC policy? Is the ITC following CDC guidelines as a business? Perhaps not, as Galarza was maskless as well. I will never use this center again for service on any of my Apple Devices. This is not to criticize the repairmen who are responsible for getting my device up to date and operable again. My device is working as it was before it needed repairs, and I am satisfied with the repair, but severely disappointed with the service which is an extension of the ITC. This review is anything but an all 5 star experience. As a principle, I am obliged to share my experience with the public. I appreciate the service @John Sagaria, but I was insulted by the lack of hospitality and dismissal Sophia gave me upon a simple request. Although I cannot cite the quote insinuating your company values its customers, posted to the right wall of your door upon entry of your facility, I can tell you this treatment was a contradiction of that. read more

I would put zero stars if I could. My daughter's MacBook was having issues charging so I got on a chat with Apple to see what was going on. The technician quickly was able to determine that it needed a new battery after having me make a few clocks and seeing that the cycle count was very high. We are not in warranty because the laptop if close to 6 years old. They sent me to a window which gave me choices to schedule an appointment and I booked one with Information Technology Corporation the next day because it had the soonest availability. I wish I waited the extra day for an Apple shop. I brought the laptop in thinking I would just be getting a price since we already knew exactly what was wrong with it. I came in and was speaking with a very nice employee. I had to wait awhile in order to get the WiFi password so I could turn off the "find my" on the computer. We chatted while she waited to get the password. Even once we got the password, we chatted some more and I was thinking to my self how nice she is. At NO point during this interaction was I told that there would be any diagnostic fee nor was there any sign saying this on the counter. By the time I left, I was probably there like 25 minutes so it wasn't a quick stop. I signed a ticket to drop off the laptop and there was nothing to show me that there would be a diagnostic fee. The body of the ticket even had an area that showed in/House OTC & Support with a Qty of 0.08 (don't know what that means) and item no. was labor, unit price $0.00, extension $0.00, NJ Sales tax n/a and Total $0.00. In smaller print at the bottom was some info that I didn't look at while there because I never would have though there was a fee to give me a price for a battery when I already knew what needed to be done. I was quoted a price of $381 to replace the battery and notified of that via email. I declined to fix it because the computer is old and it does still charge and we're getting my daughter a new one in a few months anyway. I was shocked when I got a message saying I could pick it up, but the fee was $79.97. I messaged back asking what this fee was for and was told that it's a diagnostic fee that's charged if work doesn't end up getting done. I inquired how that's possible that I wasn't told about a fee and I was directed to the bottom of the ticket which in the second sentence says. Evaluation Fee Desktop/Portables - AppleCare Warranty Pays for Parts Replacement only. No other work. If no part if needed to be replaced customer agrees to pay a $75 evaluation fee. Looking at that after the fact was still as clear as mud to me because it reads like it's meant for AppleCare Warranty customers and we are out of warranty. The owner got involved and still kept insisting that I'm liable for this payment for absolutely nothing. I got Apple involved and they are still investigating at this time because they also did not tell me that third party locations could charge a fee. Regardless, I was stunned that the store wasn't going to waive the fee since I was not advised about it. There was ample opportunity to be told while I was in the store dropping it off. I didn't see any signs and was not directed to that part of the ticket with the badly worded sentence. What's ironic is when I picked it up, a customer and his son were being helped in front of me and they were paying a diagnostic fee for an iPhone and were clearly told and charged up front for their fee. I understand it's a different product, but it was clear. Had I been told there would be a fee, I wouldn't have dropped it off. I would have had my daughter's boyfriend replace battery. When I paid and got a receipt, it's funny that I received a paper thanking me for being a customer and in this paper was an explanation of their evaluation fee. It would have been nice to have received something as clear about the fee when I dropped it off. I would have no problem paying an evaluation fee if I was advised about it or if I felt the laptop needed to be diagnosed with an unknown problem, but we knew what it needed. I would not recommend this business for lack of transparency and even when presented with my issues, they stayed firm and I had to pay the fee. If a technician looked at the laptop which I'm sure they did, it couldn't have taken more than 30 seconds since that's how long it took me to click and find out the cycle count was very high. I would normally always recommend a small business over a big company, but not in this case. read more
