I love this place! Can I just end there? .... no ok fine. I originally stopped in at infusion for a business meeting. At that time I didn't have the opportunity to really dive into all its goodness. I decided that I would be back. So I brought my mother, sister and niece back with me for Afternoon Tea for my birthday. Everything that they brought us was amazing. Please do not let the idea of this being a vegetarian establishment scare you away. I love meat, but I also love yummy finger sandwiches and tea! They also have a little shop in the back of the restaurant with the cutest items. They have lots of trinkets and some cute things for kids or gifts. This was a very nice experience. The food was perfect for the four of us, I ended up taking one cookie home for my son... because that was all I could salvage! This little gem is absolutely adorable and perfect in every way. I came to this location for a baby shower and they accommodated everything. We came to tables set up beautifully in the back area with flowers and everything. We were even given an extra table to set up the gifts for each person coming. As soon as everyone arrived, we were served teapots with Earl Gray and Berry tea. Both were absolutely delicious. Next we were given little towers with blueberry scones, chocolate chip cookies, sweet fruit-and-nut bread, and finger sandwiches. Half of the sandwiches were on white bread with cucumber, and cream cheese. The other half was filled with sun-dried tomato spread, cream cheese, cucumber and spinach. The sweet fruit-and-nut bread had cream cheese, herbs, walnuts and dried cranberries. Honestly I loved everything, but my favorite was the fruit-and-nut bread, it melted in my mouth and fit perfectly together. What made it really cool was the stuff they had in the side to sell, you could probably find just bout anything you need for decorating your tea party if needed. I also loved that it was open to anyone wanting to come in to the store so it allowed for their other customers to be happy :) read more

I've been wanting to check this place out forever and I definitely wasn't disappointed. We came for afternoon tea and had a really nice time. I got the vegan tea meal, which was delicious, and my boyfriend got the vegetarian. We forgot to order his nut free, but they happily swapped out the nut bread for something else for us which was SO SWEET. The employees were great with suggestions and super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed all our sandwiches and snacks and our tea that the staff suggested. $30 (usually $25, there's a $5 upcharge for vegan on this experience) for a few sandwiches and snacks is definitely a little steep if you're only considering the food, but this is one of those things where you're paying for the experience of afternoon tea, so I think it was pretty reasonable. Overall a super lovely experience in a really cute little spot and we'd love to come back for special occasions in the future. We randomly got enough reward points for a free latte just from buying tea, too, and my latte is delicious as well. read more

My friend and I found a Groupon for afternoon tea for two, so we decided to give this place a try. It's a cute little tea shop/restaurant right off Edgewater. We had the option of picking any tea of their menu list, they probably had about 30 to choose from. We decided on the watermelon oolong tea iced. As we waited for them to bring over the tea we found a place to sit then looked around the shop area a bit. They had several trinkets (wall declarations, frames, coozys, etc). They then brought us a three tier display of sandwiches and biscuits. Everything was vegetarian/vegan. But all delicious. Pretty extensive menu they had, but we just stuck with what came with the afternoon tea. I think the only thing that would've been nice is if they told us what came on the platter before hand or had an option of things to pick from. Because we had no idea what was coming with it. I've been coming here for years and there's a reason why! Infusion Tea will always hold a special place in my heart. The food here is always delicious and fresh. I wouldn't consider the menu to be different or adventurous; with classic dishes, Infusion Tea has mastered what they serve and I'm always presented with constantly good meals. The lime burrito is my go to and I've been ordering that since it made its first appearance on the menu. The chili is really good and all the pizzas are great. Of course, all the teas are wonderful. I generally always just go with the iced tea of the tea because I like to try something different and they give free refills. I've seen some comments regarding their afternoon tea, and I have to agree it's not the best. But I'm spoiled and go else where for afternoon tea. I think you're better going to a traditional British tea room for a better afternoon tea experience. If you are sharing tea you can also purchase as a pot/pitcher for $6. You can also purchase loose leaf tea to take home. They also have local honey available to sweeten your tea. My normal order is the combo half tempeh chili and half the taco salad with the tea of the day all for about $9.50. You can choose half of a soup, salad, wrap or tea sandwich. Portions may look small but they are filling. Food is always fresh and healthy. They do take a bit so be prepared to wait or make sure you order ahead. I am giving the place a solid four for a ridiculously good taco salad and a world of food options. I came during the week and got their lunch specials which is about $9 and comes with half a sandwich or salad and tea as well; you get to choose from the tea(s) of the day. A good amount of food for $9. When I came in I was surprised to find out that the place had two Dessert cases (one was mainly chocolate). Everything looked amazing but I did not try anything because I was staying away from sweets. After devouring my taco salad I realize that it's not the healthiest salad in the world but it's definitely worth it! The salad came with black beans, salsa, a cream based dressing and tempeh so; I don't know what they put on the tempeh but it was so good. For the other half of the combo I got the avocado sandwich, honestly wish I didn't there was nothing good about it. The tea was served cold they will serve it hot in requested and it had a good flavor to it. They provide honey and sugar as well to flavor the tea. The decor was okay, kinda cute. The place has a very hipsterish vibe, one might say a little too much just because it had a grimy feel to it but it wasn't dirty. Staff was very helpful and attentive even through being busy with many phone in orders while following safety guidelines and wearing masks to ensure that all guests are safe during this pandemic. Tables are spaced out to allow distance between customers. They also have a small shop of tea related items and local small business household items. I highly recommend the Pick two combo- Pesto Cauliflower Grilled Cheese as the havarti cheese melts in your mouth with the right amount of spice. I LOVE the tempeh chili that has cashews that adds a little crunch to the savory soup. The pick two combo also comes with an ice tea (changed daily) or hot tea of choice as the flavors change daily. I picked the coconut ice tea which was so tasty and is refilled upon request. Simply outstanding food! Admittedly, I went in with low expectations thinking that a venue that specializes in gourmet teas is unlikely to have good food. Fortunately, the food was not only good, it was outstanding, and most certainly worth a repeat visit. We had the hummus & pita bread as an appetizer and the Southwest Burrito and chips as the entree. I love this vegan spot! Its my go-to lunch spot when I'm in the college park area and not eating meat. I usually get their lunch special which is a you pick two similar to panera meatless options but you also get a tea choice of what they have selected as tea for the day. I usually like to order their taco salad with either a sandwich or soup, usually pick the sandwiches to somewhat switch it up since I like getting their taco salad with something else. Their tea choices are abundant, I usually have a hard time picking one so the staff there are really good with giving recommendations. I prefer to try new teas and find it hard to pick a favorite but noticed I usually prefer green or herbal/citrus teas. I don't have a preference for hot or cold teas which this place is always willing to accommodate whatever I may be in the mood for. The service there is nice, there is usually a line during lunch time and they also have a reward system, so ensure you check in and register so if you become a regular you get some discounts. Lastly I like some of the merchandise you will notice in the shop, usually very cute and quirky items you may not find anywhere. I would have preferred a 'buttercream' type frosting over an "icing' on my cupcakes because it just gets way to sweet and its just a chunk of sugar. Its also a reflection of all of their desserts which, aren't all vegan and aren't all gluten free. Everything is just a bit of something, so its not exactly aligned with an actual vegan mission. I had been thinking to visit this place for a long time. Finally me and my friend we went there yesterday. The menu looks good but I am not sure the taste is as good. What an amazing little tea shop in College Park! I wish I had discovered Infusion sooner. I feel like I've been missing out my whole life. They has a great assortment of really delicious sandwiches and salads, plus a wide variety of teas to fit any taste preference. I often frequent this place for lunch during the work week. It's just close enough to Downtown for the working lunch crowd. I first discovered Infusion through a deal on TravelZoo for afternoon tea. Mother's Day was coming up and my mother loves tea, so I decided to take her out for a little mother/daughter afternoon tea time. Infusion does tea time right. A three-tiered tray of some of the most amazing tea sandwiches, scones and cookies I've even had the privilege to nom. You are allowed to pick a tea from their very large selection and they brew a pot for you to sip while you enjoy your food. I also had a warm cup of Vanilla Latte, I was tempted to get a tea since they have so many amazing flavors but I can NOT resist my espresso and vanilla!!!! Next time I promise to check out some of their awesome tea selections. They even have this cute tea timer on all the tables. It gives you the option of Strong, Medium and Lite strength for your tea. All the teas are also fresh and not packaged. You can buy the teas in bulk to take home as well. Aside from the fact that I am so grateful to be so fortunate to live just a few short blocks away from this place, Infusion is simply the right spot to grab a bite and have a unique experience. Simple menu, basic stuff, well made, flavorful and healthy. I usually try to have something different from the last time, and have yet to be disappointed. Alas, I started a diet today. I have lived well and now my gastronomic adventures have to be curtailed just a bit. More specifically, I am dropping 20 pounds before I indulge again. Fortunately, just because I am trying to lose weight, I do not need to forego all culinary pleasures. Accordingly, I used my diet as an excuse to visit Infusion Tea in College Park today. I am a vegetarian, so the menu would have appealed to me even if I had not been on a diet, but I knew that a vegetarian menu would give me a multiple of options. There were three in my party, four if you count my dog who joined us for the ride. No one wanted to overindulge so our order was rather small for three people: Two gazpachos and one order of the soup of the day, a fresh tomato and bleu cheese bisque, all washed down with tea (of course). One in my party also ordered a mini "apple" from Chocolate Provocateur, which shares space with Infusion Tea. The gazpacho was easily the thickest gazpacho I have ever had and while most gazpachos I've had have been based on a tomato base with fresh vegetables added, the gazpacho at Infusion Tea is so thick with fresh vegetables that it is about an ounce of liquid away from being a salad! Heat it up and it would be a stew. Whatever we might call it, it is DELICIOUS and very filling--perfect for a fellow just starting a diet. The Tomato Bleu soup was very thick and smoky. The tomatoes tasted almost fire roasted but there was no indication on the tomato chunks that they had ever been on a grill. Clearly, this was a soup that was made on the premises and, just as clearly, the chef brought his A-game to its creation. Chunks of tomato and bleu cheese floating in a smoky tomato jacuzzi. Very special. Both soups were served with a couple of crunchy pieces of garlic toast. The toast was very flavorful but a bit too crunchy for my taste. I like to hear my bread when I bite into it but I do not want it to shatter when I bring my teeth together. The teas were wonderful, as one would expect. I was pleased that they had a wide selection of decaffeinated teas and was quick to order a decaf breakfast tea. One of my party ordered a berry tea, iced with sugar and the other ordered the berry tea iced with "a little sugar." Both enjoyed their tea but found that each cup had more sugar than they would have liked. (I suggested that perhaps that was a sign that sugar does not belong in tea!) One of my party also devoured an apple "mini" from the Chocolate Provocateur's counter. I have enjoyed those in the past (and they are perfect for dieters since they are fat free). My companion loved hers as well, but I shall write more about that experience when I comment on Chocolate Provocateur in a separate review. The staff at Infusion Tea is remarkably pleasant and helpful. The proprietors should take note that they have such a good staff because that will be very much an incentive for me to drive the 16 miles to Infusion Tea the next time I want a bite to eat. After a drive down I-4, a happy server can do wonders for the spirit! I found the price of my food a Infusion Tea a little steep. Will I pay the price again? Yes, most certainly. Nevertheless, just because I am willing to pay a little more, does not mean that I think the prices are on point with the value delivered. That may be my own ignorance of the bulk price of loose leaf tea, of course. No matter--Infusion Tea is a wonderful place to relax and to enjoy a light meal and a special cup of tea. You should make a point of checking it out the next time you are near College Park. read more

What a quaint and beautiful little spot on Edgewater! Usually when you're in downtown Orlando or nearby it tends to be hectic and crazy (traffic, parking, people rushing, busy businesses...), but then when you get to Edgewater everything kinda transforms with the lakes and the nice community. Driving by is that we spotted this place and as tea lovers we couldn't pass on an afternoon tea. Right next to it they have like an Art shop which makes the ambiance very "book club-ish" if you know what I mean. As soon as we walked in we noticed you need to place your order with the cashier and take a seat, the attendants bring everything to you. We got a Strawberry white tea and a Moroccan mint green tea, plus a Chocolate Chip macadamia cookie and a Pistachio baklava! We were dying to try the Afternoon tea for 2 for $16 that gave us tea, pastries, tea sandwiches and more, but we had just had some lunch. The teas were delicious and you can accentuate them with raw honey or light agave provided on each table. I ate the baklava, but my husband had to take half of that huge cookie home. I've been wanting to check this place out for a while now (it's talked about frequently by fellow vegans), so when my friend said she was having her birthday dinner here, I was very excited. Walking in, I thought the décor, the look and feel of the place was super adorable it looks like you've just walked into someone's home and you're in their craft studio. The fact that they serve tea, makes it even more "home" feeling. Moving to the menu, I have to say, I was expecting to find something that was going to blow me out of the water but I didn't really say anything that was of the WOW factor. There was salads and burritos and pizzas and wraps, I mean, yes it goes along with the place but it's not something that I would consider "buzz worthy". If that makes sense? So I ended up getting a salad... The Milton Special. The Milton Special was really good, I enjoy the variety of ingredients and flavors, it had beets, hummus, and tabbouleh. Surprisingly, they all worked very well together! I enjoyed my salad. For dessert I had a chocolate cupcake and some tea. Also, really good. The reason I'm not giving this place 4 stars is because the lady in the counter seemed to be having a very bad day and was letting that frustration out on the customers. She wasn't very welcoming, she had us wait almost 10 minutes in line (there was no one else in front of us), she just seemed like she didn't care at all to be there. I have come to Infusion Tea a few times now given my recent move to College Park. I have enjoyed it every time! I have had the Tea menu with my family and really enjoyed it. I have also come for lunch and I've ordered dinner to go. Each time the flavor was spot on! This is a great place for all kinds of diets. They have something for vegans, health-conscious, or just hungry. My favorite is the Capress bowl with tomato and avocado. The lemon is just right. Of course there is also Tea and many kinds, check out the daily special which they usually offer a sample of as well. I have also enjoyed the paninis and wraps. We went for afternoon tea on a Groupon deal. I love tea and my husband planned this for a special date. When we walked in we weren't greeted by anyone, even though two workers were present. I was happy they offered GF options for my portion of the tea, but for the price (even with the Groupon) the food was lacking. Having recently moved here from Doral, Florida (by Miami) where the idea of vegetarian makes most residents confused, angry, smirk or laugh and make fun of you, having a place a block away that has vegetarian options makes me very happy. We had been very excited with the reviews and on our second day in the area strolled over for something to eat. We are also huge tea fans and found out that we can find Hierba Mate here too. It is very cute and we managed to hit it at a time where the "ladies who lunch" crowd were in. We didn't know what to order so we decided to have a couple of things from the lunch menu were you can choose two 1/2 size portions. This way we could try a couple of different options. I had 1/2 the Avocado wrap and Chili, my daughter had the Quiche and Broccoli and Cheese soup. Everything we had was delicious, including the teas (one was Mango and the other I forgot the name but it was citrusy). The soup and the Chili were quite tasty, I loved both, almost took my daughters soup from her, it was zesty and delicious. We came for dessert last night - one gelatto and one piece of cake $10. Just okay. I got the açaí bowl and chai tea. The açaí was the same you buy in the frozen section at Publix. It is all packaged and not made fresh. The chai was also not made fresh. read more
