First time interacting with clinic was during a Pre-Purchase Exam. We were from out of town, they…read morewere professional and made us feel they had our best interest in mind. Communicated with our home vet, trainer dedicating ample time to ensure everyone was comfortable. The results were accurate and noted what we have experienced. Dr's were very professional, thorough and patient. One recommendation would be to ensure the assistant is knowledgeable and able to perform desired activities to ensure a proper evaluation. My 14 yr old daughter needed to take the lead rope during the evaluation.

I'm sure they must actually be a great vet since they were recommended to me by multiple people,…read morebut considering the vet and two techs came to my barn, performed 2 physical exams on my horses, and left charging me almost $300 while not giving any vaccines I requested, and instead tried to upsell some wellness plan (to the tune of $450+ per horse, not counting call fee), I feel as though I've been fleeced. I was given an unreasonable explanation about them wanting to wait a month to give vaccines when I told them that my shows start earlier here and I cannot put in entries without up to date records. If I was going to have to wait a month, why did they not have their office person ask for records ahead of time so that this whole ordeal could have been avoided? They wanted to do a Potomac booster, so I'm not sure why they wouldn't give the first shot the day they were here and come back to do the second one with the rest of the vaccines on the timeline they wanted, which left me feeling like the only thing they were actually trying to do was to get not one, but two more call fees from me. I understand that vets need to make money, but this was such an incredibly off-putting experience for me that I've never encountered with any other large or small animal vet.
