I have been going to Dr. Ingleton on and off since 2007/2008. She is excellent, prescribes the right medications and doesn't oversell the chemical peels too much. My issue and the reason I am not returning ever, nor is my fiancé or my two friends I referred, is that she is ALWAYS late and when its brought to her attention she is nasty. I came early to an appointment, had to leave work 2 hours early to be there and she had me waiting for 55 minutes. When I decided I waited enough, I came out to the waiting room to reschedule and she came to get me shortly thereafter by saying "I can see you now, you can't stay?". When I said no I couldn't stay, she rolled her eyes and mumbled something under her breath like sorry bout that. Respect for everyone's time is key, especially since the office will cancel and/or charge you as a patient for tardiness. Its really a shame because I like Dr. Ingleton a lot and I think she is thorough, but I refuse to tolerate disrespect and lack of empathy from someone I am paying. She is not providing free treatment therefore a little humility and common courtesy would be nice. And for the record, this was not a one time thing, this has happened repeatedly over a number of years and I am done. read more

Indeed this is as good as it gets...for us of the darker pigmentation it's usually searching for a needle in a haystack adventure when it comes to good skin care...my search is OVER and yours can be too..Dr. Rosemarie Ingleton is the answer. She has the solution to your skin care problems. I saw her in September 2018, masked under layers of makeup which covered hyper-pigmentation, scarring from ingrown hairs, old bumps and new upcoming horrors...I looked dreadful. By the time Dr. Ingleton had calmly examined my face, I was so motivated that it did not take too much prompting for me to remove the makeup for her to expertly administer to my immediate problems. She prescribed a regimen of facial skin care which I followed faithfully and as of Nov.19th., my most recent visit to her clinic located at 14 E 41 St N.Y N.Y 10017, I am literally makeup free. No more hiding under tons of foundation and powder. There is a spring in my step and my smile is wider cause my skin is cleaner now. I have been a patient of Dr. Ingleton's for almost 10 years, and she has clearly discussed my options with me and treated me in a very personalized way. I first went to her for a second opinion after another dermatologist had recommended laser treatments "because you are turning 40". Dr. Ingleton discussed my options with me, explained why laser treatments would be too harsh for my skin and diagnosed me with rosacea, which the other dermatologist had missed although I had been his patient for 4 years. Since that first visit, she has discussed smaller, less invasive treatments to treat my skin as I age, and made sure they 'fit' who I am and the face I want to put forward to the world. She has never forced more aggressive treatments on me or made me feel pressured. She has always explained why she recommends a certain procedure to me, and left it up to me to decide if I want to have it done or not. I have been a patient of Dr. Ingleton's for close to 9 years. She was recommended to me by a coworker, because I was looking for a dermatologist to work with my skin issue. She listened to my concerns, because I had gone through a bad experience with a previous dermatologist who left my skin discolored. She explained each step that she would take to help me and within a matter of months, my skin was clear. Dr ingleton has been my dermatologist for years until an unfortunate incident. Her staff is incompetent and rude. Jerome and Mary in particular. After going to ingleton for several years and referring SEVERAL friends to her it is a shame that i had to end my relationship with their office. Jerome disclosed medical information without my authorization AND did so over the phone. Not only is he NOT a doctor who can diagnose, he violated more then one HIPAA law. When I asked to speakwith dr ingleton about this she refused to take my calls and just ignored the whole situation. While my initial complaint was not with dr ingleton directly, they are her staff and she is responsible for their actions and when you treat one of your longest standing patients as if they are expendable there is definitely a problem. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, adept at allaying concerns, speaks "with" me about existing issue(s) and treatment plans as if I am in the room and am an actual thinking, breathing human being....... these are just some of the reasons that I have continued to be a patient of Dr. Ingleton's for several years. Prior to seeing Dr. Ingleton, I tried other dermatologists that simply did not meet her standard of practice. Over the years I have been treated for a number of issues, but at times I just needed a simple skin care regimen to follow. I have never been disappointed at any time when I sought Dr. Ingleton's services. I have referred friends, who have referred their friends and families, and never have any of my referrals reported a less than favorable visit. After reading some of the other less than stellar reviews, I did not believe they were an accurate representation of my experiences and I felt compelled to share my relationship with Dr. Ingleton's practice. I arrived late to my last appointment and the staff was kind enough to squeeze me in. My hair was thinning and damaged, making me feel insecure. After a consultation, Dr. Ingleton suggested several methods that would address hair regrowth, and we decided PRP would be the best for me.The staff and Dr. Ingleton were so kind,listening to my concerns about my hair and other skin issues. Dr. Ingleton always remained confident in her methods of treatment and encouraged me to be patient while I waited for my hair to show signs of improvement. Several years ago a friend referred me to Dr. Ingleton. It is one of the best gifts she has given me. Dr. Ingleton and her staff are the epitome of what exceptional service is meant to be. I gave 5 stars because Dr. Ingleton is attentive and cares for her patients. She listened to my problems and even gave me a hug during my first visit. And on top of that, her recommended regimen worked! I've been to other dermatologists where I've waited an hour in the waiting room and another hour in the exam room but then the doctor only came in for 2 minutes. My issue was not resolved. For those of you that are complaining about prices of visits, go where your insurance is accepted. That's what you have insurance for. Anywhere you go without insurance, you're going to pay out of pocket, and its definitely going to be expensive. I love the staff, the atmosphere and the expeditious care I receive when I go to Ingleton Dermatology. Dr. Ingleton is very knowledgable in the field of skin and currently treats both my son and my daughter one for acne, the other eczema. Both my kids look forward to their visit. I think they like the free samples they leave with also lol. Dr. Ingleton diagnosed my mom back in 1995 with cancer of the lymph-nodes when the doctors were telling my mom it was a pinched nerve, she also diagnosed a friend with lupus. I can't believe all the negative comments I read about Dr. Ingleton. I was referred to her by a good friend who is her patient and raved about her. Although it took over a month to finally see her, my experience with Ingleton Derm was very pleasant indeed. Dr. Ingleton had an excellent bedside manner and was very thorough and answered all my questions/concerns. She was very detailed and pretty upbeat for a doctor that had been seeing patients all day...my appointment was at 4pm. I love everything about this practice. The office is very cozy and sophisticated, unlike other medical offices that I've been to. The staff is super nice and always professional. I usually see Dr. Ingleton but sometimes it can be difficult to get on her schedule, which is understandable since she is the owner of the practice. I have also seen her partner, Dr. Kihiczak and have never been disappointed. Both doctors are wonderful and really take care of me.
