In Grano is definitely the best breakfast spot/coffee place in Annapolis. The veggie burrito, farmers market toast, and tamago avocado toast are my favorites. The coffee is solid and the pastries and breads are delicious - especially the muffins and sea salt chocolate chip cookies. The atmosphere is cozy. The prices are reasonable for the meals but a bit ridiculous for the pastries ($6 muffins, $7 croissants), not that that has stopped me from buying them! read more

The aesthetic is relaxing and tranquil with plenty of space to work/eat. I haven't tried their full menu but their sourdough is the best I've ever has. Their coffee is also some of the best in Annapolis without being over priced. Every time I go in the service is friendly and on top of it. Definitely a hidden gem. read more

InGrano is amazing! They're a coffee shop/bistro/bakery. The inside is extremely well put together and aesthetically pleasing. They have a menu that's a mix of French and Asian cuisine with a Wagyu Burger, Bahn Mi (Vietnamese sandwich on a French baguette), & Chinese stuffed flat bread. The one pastry I've had (almond croissant) was alright. It tasted a little old. One of my favorite things about InGrano is their atmosphere, from their tables and chairs to uncooked pasta as straws to being able to see the chefs & employees working on making your food and drinks. read more

Walking into this place, it is clear that the owner cares deeply for his restaurant and especially for his community. We were welcomed by Perry immediately and he recommended his favorite sandwich- a roast beef- which has easily become a sandwich we can't stop thinking about and will return to eat as soon as we can. I'd never think to include pistachios in the slaw, which is something that I love in a sandwich- the unexpected. My husband and I split the sandwich and we were sufficiently full at the end of the meal. The chips are light as air, flavorful, and super fresh. We will be back. Not only did we feel welcome and well cared for in the restaurant, the experience helped us to feel welcome in a community where we will be moving in the near future. Thank you, Perry. I love this cafe! It's so special to have an authentic bakery in town now! I love stopping in for the fresh baked chocolate croissants, and their lunch menu is delicious as well! I highly recommend the Turmeric Chicken Gyro- the pita bread is sooo yummy- fresh, soft, with a nice crisp on the outside and the turmeric seasoning on the chicken is really unique and adds a nice hint of flavor and spice that you wouldn't get in a traditional gyro. I also love stopping in for the specials they run! The menu is really unique and ever changing which I love because there's always something fun and new to try. They're generally quick with fulfilling online pick up orders which is usually what I do and fast at the counter as well! read more

I wasn't able to get any food due to my gluten allergy BUT the staff was very kind and actually informed me of ingredients in a dish I thought I could have. I have gone to In Grano four times since it opened. It's a really nice place off the beaten path. The food is good but not as good as they snooty nature of how this business operates. For instance, it is forbidden to try to order off the lunch menu a few minutes before they switch over. Once you get a very overpriced and messy (guaranteed to get all over your hands) sandwich you may be blessed with one fancy napkin to wipe your hands. Also, plan to use 2 days of your lunch budget to eat here and that's without a drink. A sando and pack of four cookies were just under $30! I ate one cookie and tossed the rest. The open kitchen is very clean and efficient in getting the food out. The baked good are okay but definitely not worth the price. I highly recommend the turmeric chicken gyro but be sure to ask for extra napkins. Stay away from the crispy bratwurst though! If you choose to venture that way ask for 2 extra napkins but they may want to charge you for it. Guys, the little signs all over Annapolis cheapen any appeal one may have. read more

While some Iberian restaurants do cut Chorizo w grd beef, the breakfast burrito tasted like hamburger w cumin added. Mouth feel was grainy, and the picked onions (a la bien mé) did not blend well. The Avocado toast was too thick and dry to cut and had to be picked up, but wasn't that tasty. The pastries were okay, but okay seemed lacking for the price. Delicioso! ... Went to a private party for dinner to celebrate USNA graduate. Could not say anything bad about this gem. The food was very good, and flavorable. Not your every day meals. The service and attentiveness was excellent and to top it off had to leave room for the wonderful chocolate cake and ice cream paired with a lavender latte. Recently had the salmon toast which I give a 8/10, the pastrami seasoning on the salmon was overwhelming and took away from the smoked salmon and dill whipped feta flavor. Vanilla latte 10/10. Best bakery in the DMV. You get what you pay for. I haven't had bread this good anywhere else. I'd gotten sourdough from Whole Foods and other grocery stores for years, and hasn't thought it was very good, but this place drastically changed my perception of it. The croissants are also delicious. The ham and cheese one had actual large pieces of ham and cheese, not some frozen premade stuff with tiny ham speckles, and it was the best I've ever had. The almond one is also great. If you get there early enough for breakfast, I've had their breakfast burrito, which has an incredible ground sausage and scrambled egg combo that wasn't too dry or undercooked, with a mouthwatering salsa. Their avocado toast is very tasty and clean, with a cold Japanese style/tamago scrambled egg, which my mom hated, but I found delightful and refreshing. Their lunch sandwiches are amazing as well. I always looked down on hot Italian sandwiches, but theirs has crispy deli meat, and the best flavored mayo I've had. Their chicken katsu sandwich has a little spice and delicious cabbage on top. The Bahn mi has spicy jalapeños on it, and is great.
