Ehhh. The atmosphere felt kind of hostile. I was expressing it was my first tattoo and the guy (yogi I think) was just like rushing me to the point when I asked questions. They were having a deal on palm sized tattoos. I came with a palm sized tattoo, and they said it was too intricate, and it couldn't fit the deal. I asked if they had any pre made palm size tattoos (like flashes). He said no. Now, I'm not a tattoo artist, but my tattoo was not THAT intricate. It was an outline of an elephant that had zero color or shading. I honestly thought my tattoo was overpriced, but I really wanted it, so I paid. It just seems weird how they don't have a standard guideline for palm-sized tattoos, so they just arbitrarily decide what fits under the deal and what doesn't. My artist was cool, I guess. I don't remember his name, but he made an inappropriate joke that my breast was too big (tattoo was on my chest by neck area) and it made it hard for him to tattoo because his arm couldn't rest well. He asked if he could take them out of the shirt. Like I said. This is my first tattoo, so I don't know if it's normal for that, so I almost agreed, but he was like "Nah I'm joking". Not my type of joke. Got the tattoo and it's fine. One of the lines on the tattoo got thicker than the other, but it doesn't bother me too much. But for a damn outline of an elephant for $250 I'd expect the lines to be perfect. I wouldn't go back. I like my tattoo, don't get me wrong, but the environment just was uncomfortable to me because everyone came off rude. read more

So i went in to get 2 small tattoos...the guy at the front was super friendly and joked around with me...i was having a nice experience till i got "placed" with an artist cant remember his name but he was the first artist behind guy in the front ...rude as all hell ...i explained what i wanted he said to pick a font i asked him what he thought would look nice im not a tattoo artist and was looking for something that would look nice in a small size ...he basically gave me a nasty face so i picked a random ass font i thought looked cute ... now ive got 15 tattoos and every single one ive gotten they shave the area tattoo it cover it up tell me to leave it for atleast 2 hours or whatever aftercare that artist recommends... he tattooed me then sent me on my way ...only thing he told me was not to put my ring back on (which was obvious) ...would not go back just to not risk getting him again ...he did have nice hands (like the tattoos barely hurt the one on my wrist or finger) but it wasn't worth his attitude... read more

There's a reason why I knew to stay away from this chain of tattoo shops. Inkaholik is like the beauty school of America for tattoo shops. About a month ago I was looking to get a matching tattoo with my sister and I stumble on Homer's Instagram. Surprised at his work I decided to give the shop a try. I reached out to Homer and showed him the simple crescent moon I wanted and he said he could fit me in that same day. As soon as I arrive he pawned me off to another tattoo artist because according to him and I quote "he's a manager now he doesn't do small tattoos" umm that would've been great to know before I came to this shop only because of the work I saw he did. Anyways I asked him if this tattoo artist I'm being pawned off to can do the same work I saw in his Instagram page which was the reason I came here. He laughed and assured me he was even better than him..... I should've known better but I thought a small crescent moon how can everyone messed that up? WELL I was deadly wrong. Within a few days from healing I started noticing my lines were completely off and there was no shading inside how I indicated even though I saw him shade in it always didn't take. I reached out to Homer incredibly upset at this outcome and he offered to fix it for free. But I'm sorry after the lies and poor work I received there was no way in hell I was going back. My tattoo instead of a crescent moon looked like a broken nail. And I'm not even describing my sisters which looked like she hand poked it herself. But kids there's an upside to this story. Thank god my tattoo was small enough to fix and I did end up going to another shop and fixing the horrible mistake of Inkaholik. Lesson to be learned kids don't go to the corporate tattoo shops that only show pictures of their best artist but then pawn you off to their newbies. I was so excited to get my tattoo it meant a lot to me to get it and they first said I didn't want the tattoo I showed them which I did it meant a lot to me and they didn't seem to care or understand it's my choice. Let alone when I first walked it it felt like I was walking into some gang. Now I know tattoo places can seem intense and cool or whatever but I felt out of place and NOT welcome whatsoever... so rude no one welcomed us. And then they tried to completely overcharge me because my family member got the same tattoo from the same company but it was at a different location and it was much less. If you like generic tattoos, then this is the place. Went to get a retouch on my current tattoos and I would never go back. Paid a $150 deposit to lock in an appointment, pretty standard procedure. When I showed up for my appointment the artist wasn't sure who she was tattooing. After chatting with the artist next to her while completely ignoring me, she took some time to show me what she was going to do. Once we decided on a design, she told me she had to leave for a minute to get more supplies. She showed up a half hour later, but by then I lost interest in her and the establishment. I asked for my money back. They reluctantly gave it to me but kept the $150. If you're going to get a tattoo and something is telling that this ain't the place, listen to yourself. I asked over the phone just to make sure that they were doing the 3 for 10 dollar piercing deal and on the phone they said yes they would do it anywhere except for the genital area. I went in person and then the guy tells me they were only doing the deal for ear piercings. He charged me regular price which was 50 dollars!!! I have paid less for piercings before! The red hair guy was super rude and serious and did not say a word. He had like an attitude and when I confronted him about the false advertising on Instagram , he just left me on SEEN because he knows it's true. Very overpriced. Received a tattoo from them and had to make another artist cover up the bad tattoo. Paid $100 for a bad tattoo on my finger then $80 for it to be covered. When I came back for cover up touch up was harassed for a review. In return for the review I was going to get a shirt. He went thru my phone and noticed I had an instagram and snapchat and told me to follow them when I said no he told me it's required for the shirt even though the shirt was mine already before that for allowing him to leave the review. I gave him his shirt back and changed my non self written review. He sat directly next to me with no mask on at that. Worst experience. I found you guys online for the $5 special. I didn't know what I was getting into when it came down to the piercer. She is very unprofessional and inexperienced. You'd think at a place of high volume you'd gain knowledge of piercing. That's not the case with that chick. She's all over the place. And ignores you. I asked her to pierce my belly (that's been pierced twice before with no infections) how is that I already have an infection??? She angled it poorly when my scarring was soooo obvious. Got my tat done here by a pretty cool guy named, Jesus! He was in the booth all the way to the back, on the right. Awesome, awesome guy! I was a little nervous, but he had a steady hand and made me feel comfortable. The quality of the tattoo was probably better than some of the others that I have gotten in the past, elsewhere. Was almost embarrassed to show them my other stuff. Anyways... the staff was welcoming and were all friendly. I was alone and felt awkward, but Jesus made me feel comfortable. I'll definitely be going back for my next tattoo. Oh, and I let them put one of those awesome Inkaholik bumper stickers on the window of my Benz, so if that doesn't prove that I love their work, nothing else will. STAY AWAY!!! About a week and a half ago I went to this location to get my tragus piercing switched out to a new earring. I had gotten a double tragus piercing over 2 years ago and had never had any issues with it. A few months ago I decided I wanted new earrings for it so I got them online and was able to switch the bottom tragus myself but the top one was too tight which is why I came to this place to get it switched out. When the piercer was switching it out I noticed that he didn't sanitize the new earring when he took it out of the bag, which I thought was unusual but figured he knew what he was doing. It also took a few tries for him to get the earring in because of the location of the hole and the whole process was very painful. A couple of days later my ear was in so much pain that I went back to them and told them to take the earring out. A couple of days after that, my face was swollen and I was in so much pain I had to go to the Doctor. He put me on antibiotics and told me to come back 4 days later, when I came back I was told I had to go to a dermatologist ASAP to get it drained because otherwise it could be very dangerous. I didn't sleep for 4 days from the pain and wasn't able to work. I decided to go back to Inkaholik and told the manager what happened. He pretty much brushed me off and said it wasn't their fault, he said that they never sanitize earrings when the piercing has already been healed, which makes no sense because if the piercer pinches into your ear (which is what happened in my case because it was hard to get the earring in) it can obviously cause an infection (which in my case it did). He made up all this different scenarios of how my piercing could have gotten infected, not considering that it could be their fault, and didn't care to give me any solution. My hope with this review is that they take into consideration what happened to me and start sanitizing the earrings people bring in. read more

I reached out to the manager via Instagram for palm sized tattoos on the back of my arms, and told him I'd go by that day. (February 24th) My friend reached out before that to request a girl there that we liked her work but they told us we had to go in person. We got there and she was not available. Another guy ended up working on me, I'll refrain from putting anyone out there. When he put the outline I told him I wanted it a certain way and he groaned about it, re-positioned them and didn't show where they were placed the second time around. They're placed on the back of my arms so I can't really see it myself, I'm relying on his expertise. He sprayed me in the face with a water bottle at one point, not sure why? Long story short the tattoo on one arm is almost an inch higher than the tattoo on the other arm. I reached out to the manager again (March 9th) and relayed to him my experience and even told him that I'd add more tattoos to make them seem evened out. I waited about a week for a response, which I thought I had yesterday (March 15) to see that it wasn't a response to my message but a mass DM about giveaway tattoos. So we can giveaway tattoos but we can't help me out.. I haven't had a tattoo in 12 years for fear of this type of experience. Now I have to go somewhere else to fix it. read more

The manager is very unprofessional doesn't acknowledge the problem when you speak to him. I went to get a full leg tattoo the artist if you can call him that was arrogant un knowledgeable and his tattoo skills leave a lot to be desired for. Lopez drawing are uneven and unsymmetrical the color saturation poorly and didn't finish the tattoo. I text Lopes the "artist " never responded had to go in person and he just said he didn't want to finish the his job since he didn't feel comfortable working with me, because of the criticism that as the customer and canvas that is being tattooed on I'm entitled to the decision of what I want and how it should be done. Lopez does not take criticism or losing very well extremity professionally and again can't emphasize express, how unprofessional it was of Lopez to just decided that he wasn't going to finish the tattoo, nor did he communicate with me I would not recommend the store or their artist to anybody who is seriously thinking about getting a tattoo that means something to you and you want a good job to be done by a professional. read more

I went there because my normal place was closed. All I wanted was to switch my nose stud to a hoop because it had been 6 months and I thought it was healed. The guy told me my piercing was totally healed but as soon as he tried to put the hoop in I was bleeding and it felt needlessly painful for just a quick jewelry switch. It was worse than the actually piercing. The hoop was too tight and misshapen and it quickly became painful and pinched me. Worst experience EVER!!! On Sat morning I was searching in my area to get some more ink. Went onto their website, pics looked great and A screen popped up and said if you do not have a lot of money to spend I got you text me today. I proceeded to have a text Conversation with the shop I asked if they offered military discount they told me yes come in today and we will hook you up. Then I walked into the shop mention a conversation to the dude in front he said oh I'm not sure I'm just an apprentice you have to ask him I then showed him the text he said I don't know who that is but will take care of you. Then the guy in the front not sure his name did not even look at me in the face. He said what are you looking to get done. I already have a full sleeve and other tattoos as well. I showed him a picture of script that I wanna get done on both of my hands he said OK I could do that for $600. I said $600 it's only script not gonna take that long as well not that much ink I showed him one tattoo on my arm that is about 10 inches big and I said my artist did this for $150. How are you gonna charge me $600 for the small amount of work. Once again he did not even look at me he was busy doing something else I said that's what it is I said have a good day see ya. He did not even blink and I. No counter offer, no response, just let me walk out. I will never go there again, will not recommend the shop to no one.
