Worst customer service ever! I didnt get the name of the guy who answers for them around 5pm but he was the least bit of help. I was trying to get information for pricing on a small neck tattoo behind my ear and mind you I'm disabled so I can leave the facility I'm at just for a consultation. He wouldn't recommend any artist so I can send them a picture of the size and placement. So I called the westchester location and she did more to accommodate me and my request. She did a quick job of it without complications thankfully! My sister got her first tattoo here and I can't stop recommending Yuniel for his color work. Not only does the staff talk to you as if you should know everything about piercings and tattoos but they make you feel stupid. I have had piercers and tattoo artists be able to explain things and not belittle at the same time. These people are money hungry and don't care about the service part. I went in with my nephew and they were trying to overcharge for such a simple small tattoo. We came an hour before close to take advantage of the "specials" they have (don't waste your time trying to get the $20 simple tattoo special is a super small sheet of paper with like 3 tattoos to choose from) and they make me fill out the waiver and download their shitty app and wait 30 minutes to tell me it's late and there are "no tattoo artist" wtf. I hate to be this person but the quality of my tattoo is so awful and disappointing that Im not even going back for the free fix The tattoo artist was very limited in skill as he said we had to do it this way for it to look good snd yet this is what my tattoo looks like 3 weeks later. I used Coconut Oil to keep it moisturized as recommended by my previous artist from Almost Famous. . The customer service was fine but I was not given any after care instructions . Highly do not recommend this place, I am so disappointed. This tattoo is simple yet so special to me, DAIMOKU is the buddhist word for prayer..I cannot even tell what the tattoo says. It's embarrassing that a finger tattoo was done so poorly. Lesson learned, do not go the cheap (not really though bc it was $60) or essy way for tattoos or the things rhat matter to you. Post review: after educating myself more from other tattoo artists I learned that this tattoo could have gone wrong this way with skilled artists. Although, the work was still poorly done--the fading could have happened even when perfectly done. Where Inkaholics made their biggest error was their lack of educating me as a client and setting expectations. Furthermore, their customer service was less than professional. I've been contemplating a new tat for a while now. I finally decided on what I wanted and some friends told me about Inkaholik's special on "simple" tattoos for $20. I checked their website and apparently that is not an everyday special, but it was being advertised in their IG story for that day so I was in luck! When I walked in I was warmly greeted by a very nice gentleman. He asked what I wanted and I explained; then he handed me a clipboard with two simple forms to complete. Once I was done I handed it off to another gentleman who was sat at a desk there and took a seat. After a couple of minutes he called me back up and proceeded to pull up my tattoo image on the computer. At first he told me the tat was going to be $30. I then asked about the $20 "simple" special and he explained it had to be the size of a quarter or smaller. That is exactly the size I wanted so it was all good. He then explained that the special was only for certain areas of the body. I was having it done on my left wrist which did qualify. He took payment and a copy of my ID and then I sat again. I waited about 15 minutes and while I waited the guy at the desk checked in with me and let me know that an artist was working on my drawing. Another gentleman who may have been a manager (not sure, but he was kinda walking around and looked to be overseeing) checked in with me too, asking if I was alright. I said yes and he then offered me a t-shirt, which I thought was so nice. He picked a cute black one with pink lettering for me, which was cool. Finally my artist, Riu, came and he was sooooooo awesome! Some artists can be a bit serious and unfriendly from my experience, but NOT Riu. He had a calm, friendly ease about him and gave me a warm greeting. We made some small talk while he worked. It was very quick, since it was such a simple tattoo. Once we were done he told me how to care for it and answered all my questions. I was really impressed with this place, from start to finish. I have had a few small tattoos from different places throughout the years and Inkaholik's honestly provided the most professional experience of all of them. It also was VERY clean. They put plastic cellophane on all the chairs after each person and the guy showed me everything come out of the packaging. If the itch ever happens again, I will definitely return to Riu and Inkaholik's! read more

I am very disappointed in this place. They overcharged me for a small tattoo, there was so many creepy men in that place staring making us feel so uncomfortable. Although it came out good, (as it should because it's literally tracing the lines) I went to another tattoo shop in Florida City called Squirtin Ink and asked how much they would charge and they said $120 compared to $300 that I spent. They have false advertisement for their free piercings and charged my cousin $120 for a nose piercing claiming it was to send over paperwork because she is underage. Got a piercing on my lip. It was marked correctly so I was excited. He wiped my lip both inside and out with an alcohol pad. Disgusting but I thought he knew best since he was the piercer. Then clamped my lip with a clamp I didn't see come out of a fresh autoclaved pouch and pierced through the back of my lip. The needle came out at a different point than marked. After that I was kind of rushed out so that he could take someone else. After talking a better look I could see clearly where he pierced wrong. He also pierced with a curved jewelry that wasn't long enough. He said it was because I had a "big lip". I called to ask if it can be redone and they told me I would have to pay to get it redone. I took the piercing out immediately after especially because of how swollen it had gotten. Looks like it was going to be infected. Would never go back here. read more

Very grateful Yilver_inkaholic for hooking me up this past Sunday. I was impressed by his stations cleanliness & professionalism. He also had an apprentice that did an excellent job translating for us (I don't speak Spanish, he doesn't speak English). I'm grateful I got him for my walk-in tattoo. I did notice a slight mess up on my tattoo but it isn't so bad that I'd raise hell about it, just a reminder that our artists are continuously striving to be their best and do a wonderful job. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is CDC compliance or noncompliance, moreso. Whether we are vaccinated or not, masks still ought to be worn, both client and tattooist. I didn't see a ton of that plus there was a gentleman who was coughing pretty badly when I first walked in. It was concerning. I am here leaving my 3rd day update. read more

Tragic. Leo couldn't pierced my lip correctly, did it 3 times and bled a lot. The next day I noticed the bar was way too short and my lip was eating my jewelry. FLOPPED.. I got a piercing from these people and the piercing was stuck in my ear and when i tried to go back after it was 6 weeks they tried to charge me 10$ just to get the piercing taken out. Customer service was horrible and service was not good at all. I came into Inkaholiks a while back to discuss finishing my tattoo on my ribs. It's a dual koi fish tattoo so I asked for the Japanese artwork specializer at this location. Ronny. Remember this name. If you want a tattoo, GET IT FROM HIM. I was placed on a two month wait list (early June) after leaving a $100 deposit. On a random Saturday morning, I decided to give them a call and see if a slot has opened up or if any one has canceled. They checked their appointments and said no but no more than 5 minutes later called back and told me to come in within 30 minutes due to a cancellation. I show up, and instead of finishing up my koi fish tattoo, I decided to be wild and get my sleeve that I've been waiting till June to get. Ronny walked through with me step by step on exactly how I wanted this tattoo, the many different ideas we can do with the trees and even showed me a BETTER way to receive this tattoo. He flipped the image of my wolf horizontally and by simply doing that, I could still see the wolf's face when my arm is down as opposed to before. He placed the largest tree right underneath the face (wrist area, thumb side) and boy did it make a difference. I'm not going to type much more because his artwork is going to speak the rest for me. 6 hours and a dinner (we took a break because we got hungry, lol) with Ronny later, flow-y wolf in a snowy evergreen forest, done. IM IN LOVE. The details on the snowy evergreen trees, the amazing flow of the wolf and the details within every stroke of his tattoo. I'm 100% coming back. Well, I have to because there's a part 2 to this tattoo and I'm DEFINITELY going to finish up my koi fishes with him now, seeing the work he did for my half sleeve. read more

I don't feel like line work tattoos should cost anymore than $60 especially when all I asked for was six letters to be tattooed. My first issue was i was corresponding with mr. Colombia via email because i liked his work and thought i had set a tattoo appt up with him. When i got to my appointment they pawned me off on some other artist they thought was a "better fit" I was going through my quarter life crisis and that is my only possible explanation for why i agreed to pay over 1,300 dollars UPFRONT for a quarter sleeve right off the bat with no draw up or anything. My artist beat my arm for 11 straight hours the first day and like 7 the direct next day. Low and behold the tattoo healed super bled together and faded. This place is all about money and turning out tattoos without much care for the customers needs/wants or the outcome of the tattoo it seems. This tattoo is from March of this year. I still can't get over how overpriced my tattoo was, and for no better reason than "it's got a lot of lines in it." Because I was depressed during that time and looking to make a change to myself, I really wanted this experience to be a good one. $200 for this is outrageous. The guy then tried to tell me that the $50 special for palm sized tattoos is only for traditional tattoos - he told me to google them. I did and those tattoos are way more detailed. Period. How can a detailed tattoo cost $50 while mine was $200! It was palm sized too! I don't want to say don't go there but definitely be careful because they like to swindle.
