What a nightmare!!! Look at my pictures. Horrific experience with Ra'Chel. She microbladed my eyebrows, leaving one eyebrow 1/2 inch longer than the other eyebrow and way too dark. Completely different shaped eyebrows. I've been to 3 eyebrow professionals since, who all recommend laser removal, because my eyebrows were so horribly done. Initially, Ra'chel offered to "fix" her obvious mistake. (Only on her timeline). The fix was to over extend and further disfigure my eyebrows. When I contacted Ra'chel about her horrific mistakes, she refused to accommodate me and became extremely unprofessional, aggressive, adversarial & rude. Al I can say is wow! I had been wanting to get microblading done to my eyebrows for months. I was so nervous , after all a mistake would be permanent and on my face.... Rachel was amazing! I was early and she was waiting for me. Her area was very inviting and clean. She took her time explaining every step of the process. She explained that microblading was not a good investment as it only penetrated one layer of skin which causes fading and loss of color and the need for more frequent touch ups. She explained her technique penetrates two layers which typically produces a longer lasting brow. After completing the paperwork, she began the process of drawing on the template to my face. She uses a great tool that helps her to get an absolute perfect match of your brows. For those thinking about getting your eyebrows done, let me explain to you the difference between microblading and micropigmentation. Ra'Chel does micropigmentation. Microblading: Microblading is a manual method in which one uses a manual, sharp hand-held blade to cut small hair like strokes into the eyebrows and fills them in with pigments. Microblading fills in only the top layer of the skin. Many people feel, the colors fade over a few months. Micropigmentation: Micropigmentation, also called semi permanent make-up, is applied using a medically developed micro insertion machine. The micropigmentation machine allows pigments to safely go into the top layer and second layer of the skin. This results in a lasting, fuller, more natural appearance. The Procedure: Ra'Chel will numb your brows. She uses a special tool that measures your face structure and then draws out your brows. Absolutely hideous job on my eyebrows. She made them so thick that I look like a clown. She did not follow my natural arch--she made up her own, so when I actually am surprised, it looks like I have 4 eyebrows. I have had to buy about 8 eyebrow pencils and spend 15 mins a day (5 more mins at lunch break for a retouch) to fill in the thick outline she made. Rachel microbladed my eyebrows and added semi-permanent eyeliner on 7/5/19. I was instantly disappointed but she told me that my own opinion was wrong and she refused to refund the money. I have waited 4 months to write this review because I didn't have the heart to do it. Rachel seemed so cool and so friendly, but she made up her own idea of what my face should look like and she was not interested in what I thought about my own face. When her daughter walked in and saw how my eyebrows turned out, Rachel's daughter even said "not your best work." I teach middle school and I have seen my students make fun of my eyebrows. All of my friends were appalled at how they look. I had to cut bangs and hide half my face to cover my eyebrows. My right eyebrow faded faster so I can show that side of my face but my left eyebrow looks like it was drawn on with a marker. The eyeliner was flat out crooked so I had to cover it up every single day. Going to ink'd cosmetics cost me hundreds of dollars, hours of time trying to cover up her poor work, and so Mitch embarrassment. When I asked for a refund, she said no, just come in and let me add more. She did not understand that I didn't ant them thicker. I can not say enough good things about Ra'Chel! When I was younger eyebrows were not "cute" if they were thick. Thin eyebrows were what was in. As I got older and thick eyebrows became the new norm my options were to color them in or get the bold solid (mostly light colors) permanent make up tattoo.. I was never a fan of that so coloring them in is what I did. Then came along "micro blading", I followed so many people, saw so many post and wanted it so bad! I tried to let my brows grow out but only about half came back from all the thin plucking, but I knew one day this was something I had to have! I instantly fallowed her on Instagram and knew it was time to make my appointment. I was extremely nervous, A. This is my face and B. It's a little costly (but so worth it!) but I knew it was my time. The day I had my first session I laughed, felt at ease joked and knew I was making the perfect investment for myself. Ra'Chel went over everything so perfectly and patiently.. Explained that this was micro-pigmentation and all the steps. She made me feel extremely safe, comfortable and super excited!
