He said ( in more detail) that the girl who cleaned the shop hung herself in the bathroom because she was obsessed with him and his wife thought they were sleeping together and something about mail order brides being a good thing. Not only is the tattoo a poorly done tribute tattoo that doesn't scan, the artist, who is the owner, made multiple sexual remarks to me in front of my father, while complaining about masks, refusing to wear one with his other employee. I messaged his wife about the experience and she gave a simple apology with no intent on making it right in any way. He recently got a new one for $100 that looks exponentially better, can be scanned, and is bigger. The cursive one is from this shop. Worst tattoo experience ever. Very unprofessional and unclean, the shop looked like it was falling apart; the ceiling had holes all over, the floor tiles were all busted and the floor looked like it was covered in years of grime, the bathroom was half painted and the door was barely hanging on by a screw, the shop smelled musty and gross, and Chris made us super uncomfortable. At some point, I saw him with a loaded weapon shoved in the back of his pants. He made super inappropriate comments about women and sex. I got my second nose piercing redone, rook and my industrial here. The piercer decided to tell me how poor my current tattoos where and was saying how he could fix them. I understand wanting to promote your business and your coworkers work, but telling me what I payed money for and permanently have on my body is bad is so disrespectful and unprofessional. Besides this he was an overall nice guy, but these comments ruined my experience here. I also asked him to re-Pierce my nose where the old hole used to be, there is a very obvious scar so it's hard to miss. He pierced significantly lower than that, which I am not a fan of how it looks because it is basically on my nostril. After finally figuring out what I wanted and where I wanted it, I researched who I wanted to do my tattoo.the first artist I saw shared that his specialty was really black and white and after 20 minutes of strong persuasion, I had set up an appointment. Took a "gaggle" of pre-teen and one teenaged girl for various piercings along with all their moms to Chris after school (it was a full room) and he was absolutely amazing! He was more than patient with them while they all hemmed and hawed about who would be the first to go for at least 20+ minutes. Went in for a double piercing the second piercing Chris did was crooked and went to deep into the Areola. I pulled the piercing out a few hours later and was met with discomfort and black discharge. I cannot recommend this vendor for piercings especially as a first timer. They were friendly enough, but I made an appointment just for shits and the guy wasn't even there when I showed up. I had to sit around for about 15 minutes and wait for him. Very unprofessional. I also went here to ask about how to gauge my cartilage ear piercing. The guy just did it for me for free (I tipped him, though) which was nice. I've gotten both tattoos I have by Adam. I absolutely love them. My 1st was a complete walk in. I wasn't even planning on getting one that day and he had me in the chair probably 15 min after I got there. I was a lil nervous at first however, not so bad that I couldn't go through with it. My second one was quite a bit smaller from the 1st but I had called Adam and setup a time.I got my daughters name on my wrist but if I read it, it says her name but if someone else reads it , it says family. I am totally going back for my 3rd which he's already told me was gonna be about 15 hrs.... so I've been a total chicken about it and have gone but I hope to go soon and get it started. The studio was clean and cool looking with different art and frames. I got a tattoo on a very sensitive spot and he was very light handed and precise. They got me in the same day I inquired which I love, and also there's nothing better than a family run business. I went to inkwell tattoo yesterday for a tattoo, I walked in and no one gave me any paperwork to sign or asked for identification, also no one introduced themselves so I had no idea who anyone was. When I got started one man seemed like he didn't know what he was doing so another man took over. This guy seemed cool and collected, but his skills were quite the opposite. He did my tattoo in 3 minutes leaving one word bolded and the rest barley filled in. The second he was done he ran over to his other patient and barley even looked to see if what he did looked good.
