Our AC went out on Sunday night (of course) during this heat wave. On Monday I called around to numerous places and couldn't get a same day appt. I was getting annoyed. When I called Inland Empire Comfort they did not get me in same day, but I accepted the appt for next day because I was done calling around. Brad came with another individual and got to work fast. Within 35 min the AC was working again. They also closed my windows after they were done fixing my AC and closed/locked the slider. I didn't even ask them to do it, but that was nice of them to do. We used Todd June 2025. The second floor was not cool enough and we thought it needed more Freon. Todd replaced the capacitor and added Freon. We did not notice any changes and the compressor was running differently and louder. We called Todd to come and recheck the system. He realized he wired the capacitor wrong and had to change it back the way it was before. He also stated we needed more Freon because as he stated, we lost the Freon the was previously put in. We paid for Todd's mistake, plus Freon twice for $1000. Normally if a person makes a mistake, they would apologize and not charge you but not Todd. The reason we bring this up now is because we just had our system checked. We have too much Freon in our system. Thank you Todd, you are not a trustworthy contractor! read more

I responded to their Facebook ad to perform a check up on my AC system. They responded almost immediately to set up my appointment for the next day. My appointment was set for sometime between 9 and 10 am and they arrived about 9:15. They sent a text when the technician was on his way. Todd arrived looking clean and professional, and went right to work. My AC/heating unit is the original that came with my 1993 house. This house has had several owners before I bought it about 4 years ago. It runs a little rough and I had the unit checked while in escrow and had it "serviced" by two other companies since then. While checking the unit Todd alerted me to a serious problem with dirt and pet hair clogging the coolant fins inside the unit. There was about a half an inch to an inch of pet hair, dust, and dirt caked on to the intake fins. The previous home owners let their dogs sleep right next to the intake flow vents and over the years the pet hair clogged the coolant fins. NASTY! He also found my capacitor, the 1993 original, was on its last leg and needed to be replaced. While checking the outside compressor Todd found the bottom portion to be caked with dirt, more pet hair, and other crud. Todd spent about 3 1/2 hours cleaning the inside and outside equipment and took the time to explain the issues with my system. Since I had two other companies work on this since I owned the house, I believed they were taking care of things, obviously not! AC unit runs smooth, quieter, and now blows harder than a .......well you know. Regular maintenance is important on your AC/heating unit and you need to be able to trust the people you hire to work on the most important system in your home. Spend a little now or a lot later. I am thoroughly impressed with Todd and Inland Empire Comfort and will call them again for any issues I have with my AC/ heating unit needs. read more

I was having issues with my AC tripping the breaker on hot days. Even after installing a hard start kit, it was still tripping. As was I. Brad came out about an hour after I called and took care of everything. He fixed my wrong installation of the hard start kit (wires are hard okay?), replaced the filters, and cleaned the compressor. My 30 year old system is running great and hopefully my power costs will start going down. Brad was a great guy. Very helpful, explained everything as he was doing it. I enrolled in the annual maintenance plan because I was so impressed with this company. And because I have no idea what I'm doing. read more

The owner answered our call after 8 pm (after having tried multiple companies who were supposed to be opened after hours without response) and he was able to send someone to fix a broken AC unit the next morning. Yes, of course our AC would break during the heat wave! The tech arrived on time, was professional, and gave us a truthful evaluation of our issue. I had previously purchased a maintenance program through another company within the last year, and had always felt they were trying to "look for issues," but I didn't have that feeling with this company. My units are just about 20 years old - and while I believe in preventative maintenance, I also didn't want to create an issue that didn't exist. However, Todd assured me I would be in good hands; and he was right! He did recommend a few parts, but that's to buy more time out of these guys. He fully explained what the detected issues were, why they were issues, and what the recommended fix actions were. At no point did he pressure me - heck, he didn't have to. His clear and concise explanation was all I needed. Service of this caliber is hard to beat. Our entire central heating and cooling system from the 80's died on us and I knew it was time to replace the system altogether. I wasn't in a hurry as the weather was nice so I started out getting quotes. Todd at Inland Empire Comfort had a very competitive quote for a 2-stage system, which I liked. Todd and his team were very professional during the install. They were respectful of my property and took caution when removing the old system and installing the new system. Todd set everything up for me, and at the end showed me how everything worked since it was all new technology as compared to my old system. In addition, Todd helped fix a leaking duct in the attic that he said was a major issue to why the upstairs air pressure was so low. He did recommend having the attic ducts replaced, and I will most likely have him do that work in the coming year.
