We discussed what our main problem was, and he set up an appointment right then. When Scott showed up, this man knows his stuff. He found the last company, had cut the filter in half, and just stuck it into the heater, he just put in 6 months ago. Then he showed us more WRONG things that were 75% of our problem. So he said, he would write an estimate and drop it off. He could have emailed or text it to us, but he was front and center. The I kinda procrastinated about the price, with my Dad. In which, after about a 10 days or so. I let Scott know we where on. So Scott and Joaquin showed up Monday morning and got to work. Any questions I had or anything one or the other had the answer. Needless to say, they did the work in 4 or 5 days. And WOW, our home actually gets cold, and we didnt need to purchase a 15,000.00 AC. Scott and Marissa are awesome. Scott came out right away and assessed our system. It is a fairly new system that we had put in about 3 yrs ago, but it wasn't cooling the house down very well. We called Scott, and he came out and checked it out and found a freon leak. Well, he sealed it, and it got cooler instantly. He also checked the cooling vents inside and told us our system was good but was only running at 65% capacity. So if we changed our registers and added a couple more ducts, we could get it running at full capacity and save money on our utilities and also better for the system(which we did) We did not feel any pressure at any time like we usually do with repairmen to do anything we didn't need or want. He is very friendly and explains everything to you and lets you know what you can do and doesn't try and make you feel like you have to do anything you don't want or feel able to do. They offer payments as well. This is good for when you can't swing the whole thing as we sometimes cannot. Marissa is also very helpful and is always there to answer any questions and concerns. I got quotes from 4 companies but went with Scott Heady even though his quote wasn't the cheapest. I learned so much from him about what my house really needed. Unlike the other companies, he spent way more time measuring airflow in each room and designing a super efficient system that could handle my high humidity problems (lots of aquariums in house) and also having an energy efficient system to save on energy bills. In the end I'm 100% convinced I got the best bang for the buck by going with them. don't get caught up on HVAC guys trying to sell you on "specs" and also don't make the beginner mistake of chasing the cheapest bid. Most knowledgeable, kind and capable hvac engineer who *literally* saved us during a August heat spell when our a/c up and died (it was 86 degrees inside). Turns out my avg $350mo summer electric bill is probably due to an inefficient system installed by the builder, and replaced -in part- 4 years later. Scott got my a/c up and running now, and we're planning to keep the existing furnace and replace the a/c system in the fall. Came to my house charged 85 fee to diagnose to tell me I needed a new air conditioning unit. Ok so how much? $11000. He is charging me 9,000 in labor and I am saying I buy a very expensive unit. Just a complete rip off. Overcharging like this is criminal. For $11000 my whole house should be changed not just 1 AC unit and the inside portion. Got someone else to come and it will be $4000 way more realistic only trying to make 100% profit not like this company which wants to pocket 500% profit. To answer the owners response noone here is doing anything illegal nor cutting corners. Never asked for this so please dont make up things to explain your unjustifiable cost. People should know you charge more than other legal, permitted and certified companies so they dont waste $85 like I did. I can't say enough good things about this business, specifically Scott and Marissa. I was away from home while a family' member was staying in our MoVal house. Of course 2 days after we left (in the middle of 100+ degree days) the AC decides to only pump out hot air. It was 87 in the house. I used my most excellent Yelping skills and went looking for someone that could take a look at the unit. I am so thankful I found Scott Heady Air Conditioning . Marissa was so prompt in returning my call within just a few minutes. She worked with my sister and managed to get help the same day. Scott and Marissa are the BEST! My HVAC system was old and duct work was full of holes. I requested a quote from him and about 10 other companies, (in approx. April) months before I was able to move forward with a new HVAC and duct system. He was, by far, the most impressive and knowledgeable out of all of the companies. These other companies were mom&pops, I found on Yelp, to Costco's HVAC contractor. This is a big purchase for a home and I wanted to make sure that I made the correct choice. I bugged him and Marissa over the next few months with random questions. They were always very informative and helpful. Many times, Scott would even want to meet face to face to make sure that I fully understood the answers to my questions. During this whole time he was never pushy and never asked if I was ready to get the system put in. I was finally able to move forward with the install in November. Their communication and timeline of when the install would take place, how long it would take, and how much everything would cost was right on. If Scott was not available, his wife/assistant, Marissa, would keep the communication open and also, answer any questions that I had. During the install, they were courteous of my home, my family, and my pups. He finished on time. The system passed its tests and permits with flying colors. We have had the system installed for about 3 months now and are extremely happy that we trusted Scott and Marissa with this investment. They are the best and worth every penny. read more

As luck would have it my AC died on the day our heatwave started - My daughter started calling around to find someone who would come out asap-ish. Scott and his wife were very helpful in helping me troubleshoot and fix my AC system during the hot Riverside summer! They first had me try to fix the system myself by washing down the condenser and changing out the filter. However once this didn't work, Scott was out on my property the next day trying to fix it. However he did not have the time to fix it that day so we rescheduled for shortly after! The next time he was very quick and professional. I just wish he would've been a little cleaner with the job inside when fixing the orientation of an AC vent as it left a bunch of particles on the floor. My air conditioning stopped working 8/24. Got on Yelp on 8/25 in the morning and got a reply back from Scott in about 6 minutes saying he was available today. Gave them a call and the appointment was set between 10a.m. to 1 p.m. Marissa called at 11 to tell me Scott would be at my house in 15 minutes. He arrived at 11:15 and took a quick look at my system and quickly fixed it with a part change and then checked all the voltages and cleaned up the condenser unit. Its working nice and sounds way better. Then I asked him several other questions regarding making the system more efficient and from there he went into details of how the HVAC system properly installed and maintained should work and I was very impressed. I not only got a great repair man for my air conditioner today but I think I have a new friend. What a wonderful, smart, and truly honest down to earth person. We have had two service calls with Scott Heady Air Conditioning this year. Both were fantastic experiences. The first call was this past winter when our aging FAU blower motor died. Scott returned my call promptly and was on site later that day. He identified the issue and had it up and running in no time -- even after running out to get a replacement motor. Scott's pricing was extremely reasonable as I couldn't have sourced a motor and done it myself for much less than he charged. The second service visit was completed today for the A/C compressor that seized up two nights ago. Scott was able to come earlier than expected and get the unit swapped out and purring like a kitten. Scott and his staff are very professional, clean, and respectful of the environment in which they service. Calls are are either answered right away or a return call is received within minutes.
