Since we took our honeymoon a year and a half into our marriage, we decided to renew our vows, and thanks to the incredible kindness of the innkeepers, it became a truly special moment. Brian and Audrey went above and beyond to make our renewal ceremony unforgettable--Audrey provided us with a beautiful bouquet and sparkling cider, while Brian officiated on the rooftop. Their warmth and hospitality made our trip feel magical, despite the weather. We're already looking forward to returning in the summer to fully enjoy the pool and rooftop under sunnier skies. In the meantime, the cozy lounge, endless games, books, puzzles, and thoughtful amenities ensured that every moment was enjoyable. The plush robes, 24/7 tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, delicious food, bikes, and even the beach towels and chairs made us feel completely taken care of. The highlights were definitely the food and tea. Everything was delicious, and I appreciated that my dietary restrictions were accommodated without any issues. There was also ample parking, and our server was pleasant. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the murder mystery itself. We've attended several murder mystery dinners over the years, and this was the least engaging cast we've experienced. The acting lacked the energy and immersion we were expecting, especially considering the cost of the event. Since the performance is the main attraction, we had hoped for a much stronger production. While our server was kind, the service could have been more attentive. We had to ask for water refills and for our tea to be replenished with hot water. Those are small touches that guests should be offered rather than having to request, especially during a tea service. I was also disappointed that wine was only available by the bottle instead of by the glass. Lastly, my companion and I spent a great deal of time creating our costumes for the event. We stepped away briefly to explore one of the beautifully decorated rooms, and during that time the costume contest was held. We either didn't hear or weren't given a clear announcement before it began, so we completely missed the opportunity to participate. Better communication would have made a big difference. Overall, the venue, food, and tea were excellent, but the quality of the performance and some aspects of the service and event organization left us disappointed. With improvements in those areas, this could be a truly memorable experience.

Everyone was super accommodating. Two blocks from the beach and a parking lot. That in itself is so amazing. No worries about street parking and tickets here. Two badges per room, beach towels and outdoor shower area and hose for feet, chairs etc. The Bentley has been updated recently with paint and more modern bedding. We were super comfortable and the B&B was really quiet. We were in room 12, we had a King and our own bathroom. That was a must for me... Breakfast every day was a huge variety of danish, breads, cheeses and fruit. Legit enough to hold you over until dinner! Stayed here 6 nights and enjoyed every one. The Bentley is a gem for sure. You can choose how you want to stay whether it's a private bath or a shared. Lots of great options!
