We had my bachelorette party at Maison di Amis - roomy enough for the 12 of us, reasonably priced and close to the action. My only problem is with the space being advertised as bachelorette party friendly. We were on the porch after 10 PM on Friday and Robin came INTO the house to yell at us about breaking curfew, threatening to kick us out. She also sent a text saying she has never had such rude guests and if we dare break curfew again she would remove us. Kind of a buzz kill, and I just don't think that jives with advertising the place as they party pad. Good for a weekend of quiet fun! read more

Booking was easy and the accommodations were just as described, We rented both sides of a French Quarter Duplex for a Bachelor Party. Everyone had a great time. Robin did have an issue with some towels and a sheet set that were not washable after one of the guys guys drank one too many hand grenades. She was very concerned with their welfare-fearing it was a serious illness. The charges were totally reasonable and she could not have been nicer saying that since we are being responsible and taking care of the charges with no argument, she would rent to us again. Many places would have tried to gouge us. This was something one of guys in our party did, and was not the fault of Robin or Inn the Quarter. Robin was nothing but gracious and reasonable. The location was amazing-close to all the fun on Bourbon Street. The units are kept up very well-being spotless when we checked in. There was some construction going on the patio. The guys working on the project gave us advise on an excellent place to park for free. They also told us about a local street festival going on outside the quarter in the Irish Channel. We had a great time. It really is a great value-and is highly recommended. read more

We rented the St Philip Suites and Cottage for a Bachelor Party in June 2010. We had a total of 5 in the group. The 2 suites were perfect for 4 of us as we each had a bed. We put the bachelor in the cottage by himself. The location is perfect since you're only a couple steps away from Bourbon Street and all the action. It was also nice to have Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop next door... literally next door. We also met one of the residents who lives upstairs. He was very nice and I hope we didn't make too much noise when we came back late at night. My only complaint: The air conditioning unit didn't seem to put out much air even though it was running constantly. We couldn't even figure out how it turned on and off and I would definitely take that into consideration if visiting during the summer months again. read more

Just got back from New Orlean's for my sister's bachelorette party - we stayed at the Maison d'Amis, which was PERFECT for the number of girls staying (10 total). We were close to the shit-show that is Bourbon Street, saw a parade and fireworks from our balcony (who knew Bastille Day would be such a big deal?) and had more than enough room to get ready (4 bathrooms with 10 girls is KEY). The kitchen definitely helped out, eliminating the need to dine out for every meal. All-in-all I think this was a much better arrangement than a bunch of hotel rooms... we were all together and had an absolute blast. Robin was also very helpful when it came to restuarnt and activity recommendations, so be sure to ask for her advice when booking. Would recommend making reservations through Inn the Quarter to anyone heading down there! read more

I have to agree with Jody...I really wanted to love this place because the house is beautiful and location ideal (5 stars), however, the manager completely ruined the experience (1 star). First of all, the 10 pm curfew somehow turned into 8pm when 5 of us were sitting outside and chatting (without any music on) and received a call from the manager asking us to go inside because the "neighbor" (who I suspect is actually the manager) couldn't hear the tv over our voices. This was a complete buzz kill and was completely unreasonable and outside the scope of the "contract" which she frequently referred to. Second of all, when the air conditioner broke (for two nights in a row- not cool, for the southern june heat), the manager came over and was extremely intrusive. She examined the apartment and asked questions such as: "Is that a wet towel hanging on the railing?!" We ended up receiving a refund for one of the nights with the broken air conditioner, however, I don't believe that was fair compensation for two sleepless nights in unbearable heat. Overall, the property is beautiful and would be perfect for a quiet family reunion, however, this house is NOT suitable for a bachelorette party and should not be advertised as such. Furthermore, before booking the house I confronted the manager about Jody's yelp review and she told me that the review was inaccurate and that I had nothing to worry about. After being told to leave the balcony at 8pm, I am fairly certain that I should have heeded Jody's warning. read more

I had an experience similar to Anna and Jody's with the property manager, Robin. Do not consider staying here if you want a party place or a place with decent customer service. She will suck the party out of anywhere. She will NOT allow cancellations of any kind even during a global pandemic when non-essential travel is banned and it's a health risk to travel (3,000+ people are dying per day as I write this). She kept our money even though we gave her 2 months notice that we would not ask 20 people to travel. There are many other great places in New Orleans to stay instead of here! read more

I have been renting from this company the last few years. I just rented from them again. It is very easy to make reservations with them.... always have great recommendations for us. Their properties are immaculate, bed linen is clean from the bottom sheet to the duvet. I don't worry who slept here last like I do with other properties.... you can feel the clean air!! She had the "in" at all the restaurants and tours we were interested in - she was happy to help with all our accommodations in a timely manner. If you are a tame group for a bachelorette party, this house is perfect. However, if you have any loud talkers, or any rowdy friends in the bunch, odds are, this might not be the location for you. I loved it personally. The location is great, it was big enough and spacious enough for our whole group, but the manager is pretty strict about the patio/balcony curfew of 10 PM. The houses are pretty close together, and you will get a call or a visit if you break the curfew. I personally don't think this should be advertised as a "bachelor" or "bachelorette" location simply because of the strict noise policy. Most people don't go to NOLA for a quiet weekend, especially when it's for a bachelor/bachelorette party. Just a warning. It has that NOLA flare, it's walking distance to the bars/restaurants/Bourbon St., and I love the balcony. I'd go back there in a heartbeat! read more

We rented out this entire house for a bachelorette party for 11 of us. While the house is older, and many of the appliances are old and don't function very well (the oven specifically) you can't beat the location and set up of the house. We were all very happy with the house overall. read more

Spent the weekend with 3 friends in the St. Philip Duplex. You can't beat the location of this cottage!!! We were an easy walk to anywhere we wanted to go. The layout worked great for our group of 4. We each were able to have our own space. Robin was very helpful and detailed in her instructions for check in and check out. We had plenty of keys, towels and recommendations to help make our stay perfect. Highly recommend!! Would absolutely stay here again the next time we are in New Orleans. read more

My experience with Inn the Quarter was second to none and I would recommend it to anyone looking for rental property in New Orleans. From the first inquiry I sent, Robin called me and we talked through location/ bedrooms/ etc and she made a couple recommendations to me. She was professional, easy to get in touch with and helped throughout my entire planning process! I planned the trip for 12 girls for my friends bachelorette party and had never been to the New Orleans. She booked a swamp tour for us and coordinated everything, she put us in touch with a caterer who brought in breakfast one day- she really assisted in getting everything up and running! One of my favorite touches was that I was able to send a shopping list before we arrived so the house was full with beer and snacks for a nominal fee. We had a couple in our party arriving before check-in and she let them leave their stuff at her office while the cleaning crew finished up. The properties themselves were clean, well equipped with everything that we would need and modern. I wish all trip planning was as easy as it was working with Robin at Inn the Quarter! read more
