I have been going to Dr. Won for a few months now for lymphatic therapy. I initially started as a Groupon customer, but she took her time and care to giving me the best service that I immediately signed up for more. I'm sure many can relate to how rare that is. At the beginning of every session, she asks me how I'm feeling and is there are areas in my body that needs extra attention, then works her magic. I don't know if it's the cupping or the acupuncture, but I always find myself in deep sleep during the session that I get so sad when it's over. I had the Wellness and Beauty service with Dr. Won, and it was truly amazing. For 90 minutes, I was able to fully relax, and both my body and mind felt completely rejuvenated. I have pretty thin skin with a lot of fine lines, but after just one session, I could already see a noticeable difference. When I washed my face before bed, my skin felt better than it ever has before. I've been really stressed and exhausted from preparing for a move, but the acupuncture, moxibustion, and gua sha treatments helped release all the tension in my muscles. Dr Won is the most skilled acupuncturist I have ever seen in 20 years. While other acupuncturist just does the same thing every time you go, Dr. Won adjusts the treatment according to the condition of your body at each visit. Her ability to focus on the individual makes each treatment very effective. The facility is clean, peaceful and she gives attention to having fresh flowers. After each treatment, she offers me a cup of tea that helps my condition and invites me to take time to meditate and relax. She is a practitioner who not only cares about your physical health but your mental and spiritual being as well. I found her through a contractor who hurt his back badly from a fall. After seeing her, he was back at work lifting heavy things in a week. I went to her because of pain, however, she has treated more than just the symptoms. I come away with less pain and feel my health improving. As my body is very weak, she teaches me self care at home using simple tapping and massages. Of course, I also enjoy the benefit of better skin as a result of better kidneys and liver channels. I can't say enough great things about her treatments, how good I feel during the treatments, and especially how great I feel after. Dr. Sumi Won's focused treatment has absolutely helped me with a serious condition with my liver. My liver was severely damaged due to 12 cycles of four cancer drugs, followed by additional emergency surgery that required large amounts of powerful antibiotics. My lab results for my liver function have been extremely out of range for over one year. Although my liver has been recovering very slowly, the recovery has dramatically improved in the past two months with Dr. Won's acupuncture, cupping and moxa treatments. I feel like a new person.
