I have a neuroma in my foot that has been causing me pain since December. My podiatrist couldn't fix it short of suggesting surgery. I went to Christine to see if acupuncture would help it. This was actually the worst facial I have ever had and just not a good experience with the business. I went bc I got a groupon. I had trouble finding the place, so when I walked in, I said, "You know, I think you should put the suite # in your address bc I had trouble finding you." She immediately said, "Oh that's groupon's fault. I keep telling them to fix the address but they don't do it." Well, if you know it's a problem, maybe you should mention it when I made the appt. or send some kind of confirmation with the specific address. Honestly, the place isn't that hard to find. I just had trouble and didn't like her response. So I got there exactly when my appt. was instead of a few minutes early like I wanted. Then they had me fill out paperwork. And THEN they said they were going to get the room ready. So now my appt is starting really later than it should have. The girl is pushing the upgrades and told me if I don't get an upgrade the facial I had scheduled really won't do anything. So even tho that was annoying, I figured I'm there and I didn't pay a lot for the groupon, so I may as well pay extra and get a decent facial. Except it still sucked. She put this massage lotion on my neck, shoulders and arms and wipes it off with a towel. Then she goes to use the same towel on my face. When I asked her to use a different towel, she says very abruptly, "I've been doing this for 15 years! I know what I'm doing! Ok!?" And then she explained how she flipped the towel over and used a different section to wipe my face. Um... ok. And then she does extractions. And THEN she does the exfoliation which I paid extra for. Every other place I've been they do exfoliation first and then extractions, but of course, I don't say anything bc she's been doing this for 15 years. My skin did not even feel smooth when I walked out. And the woman at the desk exclaims, "Oh! You look so different! You look 10 years younger!" Right, after a crappy 50-minute facial. So that's the kind of bs they feed you there. read more

There are many acupuncture clinics a few blocks from where I live however I choose to drive a couple cities away to come to Dr. Lee's clinic because she is very professional and friendly. Dr. Lee does a complete evaluation and customizes treatments to get the best health outcomes. I have been coming to Dr. Lee's Jera Wellness Acupuncture and Herb clinic for about a year and a half now. Her clinic is clean and quiet and her tools are all sterile. She plays relaxing nature and meditation CD's during treatment. She always explains what she is doing and why and also what herbs she prescribes and what their function is; this really put me at ease and is one of the main reasons I always come to Dr. Lee's clinic with any ailments I need her to remedy. The herb tea medicine is not the best tasting however they work very well and are all natural and made by Dr. Lee herself for your specific body's needs to treat your specific ailment . I have been to other acupuncture doctors before and I have to say her needling technique is very gentle and more or less painless. She does not poke needles too deep and uses minimal points for treatment; a sign of a great acupuncture doctor (don't be afraid of the needles!). Dr. Lee is very skilled, I highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for natural/holistic/acupuncture treatment. Additionally her prices are very fair and she also accepts some health insurance plans. read more

Bought a Groupon for a facial with my friend. We both had appointments for Friday. My friend upgraded her standard facial to a cleansing facial extraction. I just stuck with the standard one. It was nice and relaxing, they massaged my face, neck and shoulder with various of cleansers and moisturizers. It would have been better if they had more than 1 person doing a facial at a time because originally my friend and I wanted to get it at the same time, but since they only had 1 person there we had to each wait an hr of the other person. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Lee for over 3 years now. I decided to try acupuncture for my migraines because I was sick and tired of all the medication I was being given by my neurologist. It took weeks of me calling before I finally got through to a live person.
