The flatbread is actually two whole flatbreads and the dip was the size of a dinner plate. They were kind to get us an extra loaf of bread to go with the dip because we ran out. Their kitchen closed at 8 even though they were open until 9. That was about annoying because we considered ordering an additional dish but worked out fine since the dishes were so large.

Tonight was another Saturday night date night. But this was a special one. My wife just retired and…read morethis was our retirement celebration night out. So she chose the Christmas lights of Chagrin Falls and "Odd Fellows Restaurant" which looks out on the Gazebo and all the lights of the square. We arrived at the restaurant and immediately were seated at a comfortable table in the center of the room by a very professional young woman. Very shortly after, the sweetest, most bubbly young lady greeted us and introduced herself as Bianca, our server for the evening. I can't say enough about Bianca. She was absolutely extraordinary. Friendly is an understatement. She had a beautiful smile that never left her face. She was so personable you could not help but feel comfortable in her care for the evening. Throughout the 2+ hours we were in her hands she just kept getting more impressive. If you decide to give "Odd Fellows" a try you would be doing yourself a great service by requesting her as your server for the evening when you make your reservation. Our initial order included refreshing drinks from the bar along with great crusty bread and excellent "Roasted red pepper soup". Very nicely done. We followed that with our entrees. I ordered the "Sesame Tuna" which was very nicely prepared. My wife and sister-in-law had the "Walleye" and they loved it. My brother enjoyed the "Shrimp Bucatini". I must say the kitchen did an exemplary job all evening... Kudos to the entire kitchen staff. We followed dinner with excellent coffee and very nicely presented desserts. This is a "below the sidewalk" establishment and gives off a smokey, speakeasy type vibe... very classy. As you enter you will discover the hostess is at the far end of the room where the entrance from the rear parking lot is. Evidently that is where the majority of customers enter. I prefer the front... no matter. She saw us right away and immediately walked over and greeted our party. We were quickly seated at our table for the evening. A nice gentleman introduced himself as Christian, our server for the evening. He was quick with a smile and full of knowledge and energy. We placed our drink order and began to peruse the menu. The regular and evening specials menus are more than satisfactory to make any pallet happy. We began with "Deviled Eggs" topped with Caviar, need I say, they were marvelous. Also, the "Oysters Rockefeller" were excellent. The choice of entree's are very nice. My wife chose "Chilean Seabass" Spice Rubbed Carrot/Ginger Puree Haricot Verts Almond/Yuzu Chimichurri. I went with my absolute favorite, "Lamb Chops" Herb Crusted Dijon Crispy Gnocchi Green Peppercorn Jus. So did my brother. And his wife ordered the "Sea Scallops" Roasted Beets Humboldt Fog Pistachios Orange/Saffron Butter. Everything was exceptional as always. KUDOS to the entire kitchen staff. We followed dinner with a fine cup of coffee and shared a couple orders of "Whipped Chocolate Mousse" infused with chopped hazelnuts... fabulous.
