I contacted mike to do some after market led lighting on my car. I called him during business hours listed however, he informed me that he wasn't even at his shop!! Red flag#1 Then we spoke back and forth about possible lighting we could do with the car. After being satisfied with the discussion I informed him that I would come by the shop by 3:15. Please keep in mind that he asked me to call him to tell him my time of arrival so that he could make sure he was there. So I drove 30minutes to get to his shop. I contacted him at 3:09 when I arrived and he did not answer the phone and his garage "shop" was also closed. But no problem, since I told him 3:15 I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I contacted him AGAIN at 3:22 (past our appointment time) and still no answer . Red flag #2 . So after driving 30miles to see him I left extremely disappointed and upset . And of course at 3:45 he finally returns my call and with not a single "I'm sorry" bone in his body, he says he didn't hear his phone ringing and he hadn't been at the shop . Then he has the nerve to ask if I'm still around after making me wait 30 min past our appointment time !!! Wthh Red Flag#3 I said no maybe next time and he quickly says okay and hangs up . Woooowwww. Here I am reading these fabulous yelp reviews thinking this guy is probably a stand up man with great customer service and expertise but Nope!! Not even close . I just had my second sound system installed by Mike (first one almost 2 yrs ago and still going strong). Everytime I've interacted with him, he's been the friendliest and has been real straight, nothing shady. Both installations were fairly quick (less than 3 hrs) and I just waited in the customer lounge. With $10 dollar in parts, Mike made a piece that saved me $250 bucks so I could install a backup camera to a stock navigation. This place is great, I had a problem with one of my HID headlights on my 2015 Honda accord. They were not bright and they kept turning off after 10 mins. I went to back to the shop I original got these lights from since they were under warranty on them. The other shop gave me run around saying they were busy and they had no time to check them out. After a few days I decided to just show up. The guy who worked on my car pretty much said it's not that kit it was my car. I had a hard time beliving him since I've seen many Honda accords on the road with hids on them. So I decided to get another opinion I searched yelp and came across innovative motoring. I called them and explained my situation. A guy by the name of mike said that he has done several hid kit on Hondas and he would take a look at my car at no charge. So I immediately went there Mike was kinda of busy but took the time to look at my car. He told me the installation was very poor and the quality of the product was the cheapest on the market. He explained to me the difference between AC good quality kits vs DC poor quality kits. He even brought out one of his hid kits to test them out. Wow was it a day and night difference. At this time I really didn't care about the price and just told him to install the new kit since I was leaving out of town for the weekend. The installation Mike did was much cleaner from the previous installer no wire shown everything was tucked in and the best part we testes the lights out for 30 mins and NO PROBLEMS. Now time to pay I asked Mike what the damage boss. The price was very fair. And much cheaper from the other shop I had went to first. I previously used Mike several months ago for a radar detector install. Well, I brought another car to Mike to have the same type of remote radar detector install. Mike's quality service hasn't changed. We agreed on one location for the dectector unit but he found another place which was better and sent me a picture of the proposed install location to my cell phone. It was easy to picture by seeing a photo than by him describing it. Mike has great workmanship, great customer service, and definitely knows what he's doing. Not only that, I got quotes for the same work from two other shops and Mike's work cost 1/3 to 1/2 of the quoted costs from other shops So not only are you getting Mike's quality work and great customer service, you're getting a great value as well. Very very nice person! It was a Sunday afternoon. My light for fuel cap loose came on and I was around his shop. He left the shop already but I was able to get in touch with him. He said he needed to come back to pick up a part and he could check my car. He connected the machine to my car and tried to read the error code.
