Living in an older, established neighborhood, I never worry about pests. But, never say never. Last week, I was taking my garbage bins out to the street when I noticed that my driveway was infested with large black ants! Not a few, but several hundred! I had never heard of harvester ants before, but they are ugly! I saw that they were making nests in a corner of my neighbor's yard that abuts my lot (he's got a lot of junk), and coming over to my yard to pick up nesting material! I fought valiantly with Raid, but these things were voracious! I called Insectek based on previous Yelp reviews. I wanted somebody who would get to me quick and solve the problem. They did! Bryce worked me into the schedule and had a technician out quickly. The tech was very thorough and it looks like the problem is gone. I wasn't thrilled with being told that I needed to sign up for their 365 Pest Prevention Program, or with having to give them a credit card for a $40 per month fee, BUT in hindsight, I saved $50 on my initial service, and get 4-6 visits for the year. If the ants come back, so will Insectek. If you don't have a big bug problem, I suggest cost comparing them with a few other companies, and see what you think. However, peace of mind is important, and knowing that these guys solved my problem quickly and that they have my back for a year is the kind of peace of mind I'm willing to pay for. The technician, Matt Calabro arrived on time, wore protective floor coverings and explained the process for indoor/outdoor spraying and the termite inspection. They could not help me with my termite issue. I had to ci that other companies to do the job

I have been a customer for five years, so can see there is a problem. We have not had termites in the 5 years since our treatment, but now they are trying to sell us bait stations. I had to request a quote twice and when the quote came, it was seriously lacking, showing 5 bait stations for our home's exterior. They said there was only a 2 year warranty and for that we had to pay a yearly fee. Spoke to a manager about quote, but he never requoted with proper number of stations, like he promised. Sometimes they don't even answer their phone. Beware. read more

We have only had this service for a couple of months, but so far they have been very responsive when we have problems. I will see if the ant problem goes away. We have had some "live ones" inside and outside, so we will see over time if it is worth the money. No extra charge if we have had issues and they need to come back out. In their defense, we prefer not to have anyone inside our house so we have they dose the exterior very good. Lots of dead grasshoppers AND just as many live ones, which is bad. Termites! After interviewing 4 companies, insectek provides the most extensive and safest termite treatment. Pricing is also comparable two other companies. James came out to do the inspection and when I decided on insectek James also did the treatment. The treatment was a combination of trenching where are the active termites were outside at the entry point, dusting in the ceiling where the current activity was inside, and putting bait stations around the perimeter of my home. James also put bait stations around the wooden shed. Insectek is the only company that included my shed. There was one company that gave me a quote on the phone without looking at my property. They used basic information from the County website. The County website does not give correct detail that is needed to do a proper termite treatment. Never trust a company that gives you a price over the phone without looking at your property. This company, the 4th, was the most expensive and gave a 10 year warranty. Termite chemical doesn't last 10 years. I'm not going to play Russian Roulette with my home or anything else! Bait stations are effective and safest for mother earth! read more

A long overdue review for an AMAZING company! I started using Insectek over a year ago for my townhome in Phoenix. Living in the city equals living with cockroaches and other insects, especially during the summer. Once I started seeing the occasional cockroach inside, one of us had to go...and they did. Insectek's product immediately took care of the problem and after the initial 7-10 days...I never saw one in the house again. Also, while they are hard to get rid of, I also saw a dramatic decrease in silverfish. Fast forward about 18 months later and they are now treating the home that I bought in Phoenix. If I could give 10 stars I would. We have a scorpion infestation that isn't being handled by our complex so we took matters into our own hands. Joshua, highly recommend requesting him if you can, was so thorough and kind throughout the whole process. Explained exactly where they come from, what the apartment should do to help prevent with maintenance, and sprayed both a powder and a liquid chemical that's non toxic to mammals. We chose this service because of pricing and reviews. They do a good job coming out and spraying anywhere we need them to and haven't had any critter issues since we started with them. Would have given them a 5 if they communicated a little better on scheduling when they will come every other month. My husband and I both work long hours so when they let us know same week they are coming at a time while we are at work, it isn't great and we have to try and reschedule. If they called and scheduled each service or even sent a scheduling link, or something like that, I'd definitely give 5 stars! read more
