After contacting them to ask about a service, Debora reached out to me telling me it would be X price for a certain number of treatments. I was interested in moving forward and started setting up a consultation. While I was making the consultation, a separate email came a couple days later, also from Debra, responding to my inquiry with a completely different price (almost 50% more expensive!). I tried to clarify that I would be willing to pay the first price, but not the second one, and asked if that was ok. This is when things got weird - when I brought up the two separate quotes, instead of apologizing Debra got defensive and refused to answer which price she would actually charge. She said I would just have to wait and see about the price until I came in for the consultation. Her responses seemed very rude and condescending to me. For example, when I asked why the price changed she responded "Our promotions change from month to month and quotes can be valid for two weeks". Since it was still less than a week since I was sent the first price, I tried asking whether the first price would still be valid if I came and paid for it within two weeks. But she refused to answer - I asked directly "could the price be different depending on whether I come in before the 2 week period?" and "is there still a possibility of getting the first price if the consultation goes well, or are you only offering the second price now?" She flat out refused to answer these questions and just said I would need to come in to find out (without any clarity on whether I should come in within the two weeks.) As someone with a busy schedule, I don't want to come in for an appointment if she is no longer considering the originally quoted price. Why waste everyone's time? Obviously things can change during the consult, but no other medispa has ever had an issue discussing their specials and base prices with me. I found this entire exchange super frustrating and I don't understand Debra's motivations unless she is trying to pressure me into paying more than I'm willing to, or just intentionally being rude and defensive about her mistake of sending two separate prices. I feel that she has wasted my time by telling me different things and making this simple discussion needlessly complicated. I can't imagine what she would be like to deal with if an actual issue came up! NuMe has offered the same service at the lower price quoted from Debra, so I will be going there. It was very easy to discuss this same information with them. It's a shame about Debra's poor customer service because I was looking forward to trying this place.

After a Sculptra laser treatment, I was told it was safe to return 11 days later for a HydraFacial. During that visit, the esthetician upsold me on a 20% salicylic acid peel and red light therapy. The moment it was applied, my face started burning intensely and had to be neutralized multiple times. Despite being told peeling wouldn't happen, my skin peeled badly and I was left with visible burn marks and discoloration. A dermatologist later confirmed that combining these treatments so close together is not considered safe (even a quick google search or chatgpt search will say its UNSAFE) When I asked for a refund on my remaining balance (I was sold a laser/hydrafacial package), the clinic refused to consider it unless I came back to be evaluated by their dermatologist -- after they already injured me. They stalled, passed the issue around, and took zero accountability. They're happy to upsell aggressive treatments, but when something goes wrong, you're on your own. Protect your face and go elsewhere. I still have multiple treatments outstanding that I already paid for that I will not be getting.

An hour before my appt time I receive an email saying that the appointment has been moved 20 minutes later and was shortened to a 25 minute appointment at the same cost. The facility is clean and very nice in the middle of madrona area. My skin was not prepped nor cleansed and product was applied directly to the skin without any prep. During the treatment the esthetician left midway to answer a phone call and kept mentioning another service they provide- a skin focused facial that would answer all of my skin needs, not the concern I was visiting the spa for. My appointment had started at 10:20 (time I walked into the building to check in) and at around 10:55 the aesthetician said we were done and I should get dressed. I received my receipt via email at 11:09. Post appointment, I didn't feel like the usual "de-puff" feeling I get when I get a lymphatic facial massage with other spas. I received a discount of 20% for being a new client (check their Yelp page) and was asked if I wanted to schedule the suggested skincare treatment. Potenza I decided to try Potenza thanks to their grand opening discount. I felt incredibly pampered with the skin prep before my skin was numb enough for the treatment. While I have had years of microneedling done in the past, I actually found this treatment to be completely painless. My skin looks tighter and has been glowing since having it done three weeks ago. They recommend a series of three to see the best results, and I am considering resuming the treatment after the summer, since you need to stay out of the sun and wear sunblock for a week post-treatment. Shurink Lifting 300 This is the newest treatment at K Beauty, and I decided to give it a try. I went with the 300 shots to focus on my chin and jawline. I found this one to be the spiciest skin treatment I've had in a while, despite the numbing cream! Aside from that, I'm only three days post-treatment and I'm already seeing a difference in my jaw and chin definition. I have also received a lot of compliments on how much my skin is glowing, thanks to the combination of this and the Potenza. I was told that I'll see the full results in two weeks, and I look forward to seeing them then! What I really appreciate about K Beauty is that they do not push products or services on you. Instead, they give you their honest opinion. In my case, I was asking for product recommendations for anti-aging and collagen production. They were honest and told me I would benefit more from a service instead of purchasing a product, which is what led me to booking my Potenza appointment. Even after that appointment, they suggested I observe the results first before deciding if I want to book another one in two months. That alone makes me feel comfortable knowing they truly have the best interest of their customers in mind! If you aren't sure which treatment is right for you, I highly recommend booking a facial. While all of their skin treatments come with a skin analysis, booking a facial is a great first-time step to see the current state of your skin, as well as to figure out the best treatment plan to follow.
