For those of you who don't know me, I have a serious sweet tooth. If it contains sugar, I'm going to eat it. Especially cookies. Who doesn't love a hot chocolate chip cookie right out of the oven with a glass of ice cold milk? If you don't you're straight cray. Anyway, my husband was not enjoying his stay in the hospital so a good friend of ours brought him two boxes of a mixed variety of Insomnia Cookies. We ate some immediately as the box was still warm. Ahhhhh...so comforting. She got us the following types of cookies: -chocolate chip -chocolate chocolate chip -chocolate chocolate chip with mint -snickerdoodle -white chocolate chip macadamia nut -peanutbutter -m&m -oatmeal raisin I've tried at least a bite of every cookie and I love them all. Each cookie is perfect in its own way. I see on their menu that they also have brownies and ice cream. Definitely going to have to try those next time! You do not have to have the cookies delivered to your house if you prefer to venture out and get them at their shop. They are more expensive than if you made them yourself at home but that's the cost of having someone prepare them for you. They can't be free people sheesh! The best part about Insomnia Cookies is that you don't have to bake your own cookies and you can still enjoy them hot out of the oven. Overall: YUM! Give this place a try. read more

Fresh, gooey. What more can you also for? I tried a double chocolate mint cookie, a sugar cookie, and a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie. All were great! They also have ice cream and will make a cookie and ice cream creation for you. Best place to go when your having a "sweets" crave!! I got the jumbo triple choc cookie and the smores deluxe. They were fabulous! They are warmed when you receive them which makes them so much better! Definitely a great place. The prices are a little high but definitely worth it! read more

I am very pleased with Insomnia Cookies' quick turnaround time for placed orders in addition to the fresh, delicious cookies. However, for the first time doing business with the company, I felt uneasy, as if I was doing the employee servicing my order a disservice. After receiving a call from Ben, he asked me what building he should be delivering to, in which case I told him building number as indicated in the online instructions. He then asked me if I could come downstairs, to which I replied: "Are you not able to come upstairs to deliver to my apartment? The buzz-in number is provided in the online instructions for delivery." He said, "Usually, we aren't able to get in the building." At this point, I was slightly upset and told him that I would meet him downstairs. When I exited the elevator, there he stood with the cookies. I paid for the order in cash, and, when I gave him the money, he said: "How much do you want back?" This question came across as if he was entitled to have all of my change for his "not yet decided" tip. To make matters worst, he bluntly stated that his job only pays $5 per hour as if that was a queue to let him keep all of the money paid for the order. He gave me $4 back from my total order, but He did not provide an explanation as to why he didn't return the rest of my change. This was not a great experience for me, and I hope that other customers do not feel this way. It is not for the employee to decide how much he or she should receive in tips, after the customer has paid for product. And, it is not appropriate to indicate how much your hourly wage is. Delivering to the specified address ensures that the product is successfully delivered to customer every time. I just felt that this experience was an unpleasant one and hope this never happens again. read more
