We waited in line for about half an hour just to figure out that you could pickup your order from the counter. Too bad I couldn't get to it because people kept coming in and blocking the way. By the time we got our cookies, they weren't even warm anymore. The setup in there is very confusing... the line goes around the inside of the store but there's no dividers so rude college kids just cut in line and we get nowhere even faster. No matter where you are, insomnia cookies will never have a dedicated parking area. They ALWAYS place their stores in the middle of cities where you have to either park on the street and pay for parking or park in a city owned parking lot that makes you pay 10-25 dollars to park for 5 minutes to go and spend 15 dollars for 4 cookies. Absolutely ridiculous. Forcing their customers to pay for parking and then charging people 15 bucks for cookies is ridiculous. Me and a few of my friends were in the mood for a late night cookie stop. We go to TCNJ and it was a quick walk over to the cute stop. The store is relatively small stop in Campus Town, and they have a lot of good options. Considering how many of us were there, the service was quick and all the cookies were amazing. There was only one employee in the store and she seemed a bit stressed out with the number of people ordering, but got everything right and made things easy. Insomnia cookies are very expensive, this particular store is extremely small with nowhere to sit. They were out of several ice creams. It was nothing special. The only thing different between them and crumble is that they have ice cream. And to be perfectly honest, I prefer crumble, they are not as expensive. The people working there were very young and impatient. We went for a free scoop of ice cream when the website said it was free two scoops. Located right near tcnj. Store is super tiny, parking was free. They were out of 2 types when we came in but staff was really friendly and upfront on what was sold out. Ordered a six pack and one deluxe cookie. 10$ for 6 pack and 3.25 for the deluxe. Deluxe cookie oatmeal chocolate chip was massive but I didn't like the cinnamon flavor and wasn't as soft. I really liked the double chocolate chip and regular chocolate chip! In my opinion it's expensive for cookies. They were good but I wouldn't make a special trip to get them. Came here to satisfy a late-night craving, but more specifically because I just recovered from some type of stomach bug and had dropped several pounds over the past few days due to a loss of appetite, and I did not want to lose any more weight so I needed a few extra calories in my day. (What a strange reason for doing something, I know.) It really wasn't worth the 11:00 PM drive. I got the "delicious duo" of two cookies with a bottle of milk. I chose the snickerdoodle and sugar cookie, and the whole milk. Though they still had an hour left til close, and multiple employees on site, the cookies were handed to me cold and seemed to be in the beginning stages of going stale as they were a little hard. I have had Insomnia Cookies in the past, and a hallmark of these cookies is that they are served warm. It's an absolute defining feature of Insomnia Cookies. Though I didn't eat them until I got home, I specifically felt the cookies in my car before I pulled off, to see if they were warm. They weren't, and I couldn't be bothered to go back in and ask them to warm the cookies for me. Not good. Won't be back. Considering that two cookies and a tiny bottle of milk cost me more than $7 with tax, it just isn't worth it. If my grocery store was still open 24 hours like they were before COVID, I would have just gone there and got the same packaged-cookie-quality snack with the tiny milk bottle for probably $3. Insomnia cookies is tucked in at the college of New Jersey, right when you pull in the main entrance. I missed it a few times! Small store front with a menu to the left, three bar stools to the left with a counter from the wall and the cash register right next to an ice cream freezer. I ordered a a chocolate chip brownie and it was hot and ready within three minutes. Quick and friendly service was a plus. They deliver daily until 3AM. Okay first of all - the concept is dangerously genius. Fresh cookies on demand!? Come to mamma. On Friday night, a girlfriend and I had an old fashioned girls night, complete with wine - and halfway through the bottle, we started to crave something sweet! We were so excited about the perfect opportunity to try out Insomnia cookies! Around 8pm we ordered a '6 pack' of 2 chocolate chunk, 2 m&m, and 2 pb cookies. Partially because we wanted leftover cookies, partially because we couldn't decide on just 1 flavor, and mostly because we had to meet the $6 delivery minimum. The website was super easy and seamless - we were told cookies would be ready within 45 minutes. I live 1.5 miles from TCNJ according to Google Maps, and it took approximately 1hr and 10 minutes to get our cookies. The wait doesn't bother me, however the cookies were not warm at all when delivered - I thought that was the whole point. The cookies themselves were pretty basic - tastes like run-of-the-mill mass produced cookies. Neither the best nor worst cookies I've had in my life, but a great solution to our sweet tooth. Personally, since I'm a baker - I probably prefer my own concoctions, but that's the pretentious baked good part of me. The were pretty expensive, I believe our total was about $13 dollars, which included a $2 tip. Still, $11 for 6 cookies is steep. Insomnia cookies has been taunting my sweet tooth for months as I patiently waited for the campus town location to open up. When it did,my friend and I ordered a 6 pack delivered to the house. The cookies themselves were good- nothing to write home about- but the delivery took over an hour, which seemed long for such close proximity. The peanut butter cookies were hands down the best between the three types we ordered (peanut butter, M&M, and chocolate chunk). Ive been a college students at TCNJ since 2016 and I've witnessed this insomnia from start to current day. I will say they have not mat my expectations overall. There were times like junior year that I would get my cookies in less then 15 minutes and they would be lookin boom af. But I lived in campus town and there were also times when they just completely forgot about my order. Recently they seem to be short staffed (at least late at night) and I've waited over an hour the past few times I've order for delivery. I just called the store, waited on hold for 10 minutes to find out they only have one delivery driver working on a Saturday night! I know that Covid is causing a lot of problems rn but you should have no excuses if you are a delivery/ takeout establishment. Just picked up my order which was said to be ready at 9:45 and when I walked in at 10:00 it hadn't even been started. So I waited. Not a huge deal. But on top of that, out of five customers in the store while I waited, not a single one wore a mask or maintained 6 feet distance. Even the workers weren't wearing masks or gloves (one put his mask on for about 10 seconds and then took it off). And then one of the male customers proceeded to pee on the building. In public. He left the store and as I was walking out, was peeing on the building. These people should've been kicked out of the store the second they walked in with no mask as it's a state order. I haven't been to insomnia in a year or two and decided to come back tonight to get some for my girlfriend. We got a 2 boxes but the cookies fell apart once we picked them up . The cookie had a nice cooked outside but when we bite inside .... Yes still good but it seemed like it may have not been fully cooked unless I just haven't been in a while . This is probably the most unorganized insomnia location I have ever dealt with. I have ordered food twice this week from them and waited 2+ hours for my food to arrive. When my food did not arrive I called them and they told me that my order was on its way and will be there in 20-30 minutes. I then proceeded to wait another 30 minutes for my food to just not arrive at all. I spent over $15 for cookies and waited 3 hours for them to just not come at all.
