Located next to the Trenton farmers market, this is a cross between a farm stand and Stew Lenard's (although there are no animatronic foods). They have local milk, local eggs, and most impressively, containers of local ice cream of every flavor you can think of (and some you can't). The ice cream is conveniently in the same size containers as a Ben and Jerry's. The milk is constantly being back filled from a back room that you can see into, but the workers cannot hear you so leave the glass alone.

Their ice cream is soooo good. It hits EVERY SINGLE TIME. My favorite is Peanut Paradise.

We first came to Halo Farm three decades ago. My father-in-law had discovered Halo Farm and recommended it to us for its ice cream and dairy products. We try to get back here whenever we're back in Bucks County to visit family. The ice cream is great -- heavenly, in fact! Some of our favorite flavors are Chocolate with Strawberries, Chocolate with hurries, Strawberry Chocolate Chip, and Mocca Chip. Face it, there is no such thing as a bad flavor here.

Definitely lived up the the hype. The ice cream, milk, apple cider, orange juice, apple juice, are all excellent and so inexpensive! Every drink and flavor of ice cream is made with natural ingredients. They buy 2 get one free ($3.80 each), and are not overbearingly sweet but very well flavored. Literally the ice holds the crown for me now. Both normal milk (under $2 for a gallon) and the chocolate milk($2.89) are silky smooth and delicious. They ago down like water, without the strong milk funk that I now detect from store bought milk. The cheeses are also all great. I recommend the cheddar or muenster. If you like smoky, the smoked cheddar is right up your alley. If you are in town or even if you are not, you should absolutely swing by to experience some ice cream heaven.

My go to place to stock up on great tasting and locallly made milk! They have many options of milk such as chocolate, regular, and even an extra creamy 4% milk. This place has apple cider, lemonade, and other juices as well. These drinks come in half gallon cartons which is extra cool. This store also sells many normal groceries such as bread, butter, and various snack foods. They do sell pint size containers of their fabulous and homemade ice cream. The ice creams is fresh, tastes amazing, and comes in a variety of flavors. Many of which can be purchased from their ice cream shop in princeton. The packaging area for the cartons is located in the same building, so you can see them packaging the milks and juices. This is fun for the kids as you can view the process and wave at the workers! An overall fantastic place to go if you are in the area. Fun and fresh!

Drove many miles to this place to get their ice cream...I bought many flavors excited to try them all since a news article I read said they are the best in Jersey. Well....this shit is fucking nasty y'all! Every flavor is just frozen milk with fruits or nuts. Nothing spectacular about this shit! Where the fuck is your manager!

Halo Farm has a live display of filling milk cartons, you can see the production line of milk at any given time during the day. They have variety of milks, juices, ice creams, pops etc., Their Ice creams are delicious... A lot of locals frequent this place to buy milk and ice cream. The prices are less when compared to supermarkets. The ice cream flavor options alone are a reason to go to Halo Farm! The ice cream is made fresh, has the perfect texture and fabulous taste. The prices are reasonable for a high quality product and they also have promotions for the ice cream (See pics attached!). They also have their other retail store in Princeton area off of Nassau street. Definitely visit them if you're near by. They're also known for their chocolate milk. It has yet to meet its match in my book. The location is easily accessible off of route 1 business/local to those who live in Trenton, Hamilton and Princeton area. Quick in and out process and the customer service is always excellent!

As we waiting for our ice cream sundaes to arrive, the servers came outside and gave us fresh popcorn. It was such a small but sweet (and tasty) gesture. The owner came out and gave us our ice cream sundaes and chatted with us for a while about the life of an entrepreneur. She was so kind to give us so much attention and information on her life starting businesses in the local area. The mission of this shop is so pure and you can tell that the ice cream parlor was built with so much love. The ice cream and mango italian ice were both fantastic. I think in many of our cultures, getting ice cream was somewhat of a treat and possibly enjoyed while on summer vacations. In this environment it gets even better. That was my mindset when seeing TIP for the first time. Clean and brightly colored shop with very nice outdoor seating options. Going inside you encounter a clean, colorful and brightly lit space with a few more tables. The counter was plexiglassed ala Covid style. Cases held about 12 ice cream choices, with maybe 8 more ice choices. Several options looked appealing to me. I went with old faithful chocolate and paired it with something I've never had, banana split. While I liked the chocolate, I really liked the split. It did remind me of getting sundaes and such as a child. The flavors were clean in both, and not overly sweetened. A better than average creaminess, but not in the upper tier. I'd get either again, or maybe one of the rotating flavors. The ice cream is not made in house, I was informed that it is sourced from local makers. I have a few suspicions as to who they might be, but of course more research will be required;). I really enjoyed talking with the owner and his two sons. To say this is a family business and or a labor of love is just barely hitting the mark. I'm tempted to tell the whole story here but I think it's better for the curious to just visit themselves. This is a business I would love to see thrive for many years. And as they succeed it could offer hope to other businesses or even families. Trenton needed this.

El autentico sabor de Guatemalteca!…read more If you know what I mean. This tiny Guatemalan casa sits in the same location as the former Tierra Maya. That owner has departed, but the same people remain in the kitchen and are now running the show. Their orientation is somewhat different in that they have added a broad selection of ice cream and cool fruit drinks, both perfect for the Central American-type heat we have had this week. But, the food is still top notch, despite the extra refrigeration in the shop. Only 4 tables, the menu offered traditional comidas, plus Mexican platas for the growing Latin population in and around Trenton, NJ. I had the Carne Asada Tacos today. Three double tortillas, filled with sliced and diced thin grilled steak, onions, and hot chili peppers. Radish, Cucumber and Lime wedges for each taco, plus excellently grilled Jalapeno and Scallion on top of the whole shebang. Delicioso! The Chips and Salsa seemed homemade, as the corn crispies came out hot and scorched, with freshly made red and green Salsa. Really good! I also had a Bastida de Pina (Pineapple Shake), made from fruit cut just for me, milk and crushed ice. So cool, tart and refreshing. $3. Fabulosa! All this for $9. And, I rather enjoyed being the only Yanqui in the house.

I first noticed Panorama Musicale while picking up lunch at Italian Peoples' Bakery next door. From the outside it still looks like an Italian shop from Chambersburg's heyday. But, walking in you realize you aren't in Jersey anymore. The language is Spanish, and the environment is Latin Café. I was there to see about lunch. The friendly owner showed me what was cooking in the water table, and I chose the fried chicken and rice. I noticed the other customers were drinking coffee, and soon understood why. Behind the counter was a copper classic expresso machine, complete with large dome and spread eagle on top. A work of art from another era. So, the chicken was dry and overcooked, and the rice only passable. I wouldn't return for their food unless desperate. For that alone, they would get two stars at most. However, I wasn't gong to leave without testing that awesome contraption, and ordered a latte to go. I watched as the process unfolded. Valves were turned. Steam pipe immersed. Foam poured. Impressive bit of engineering and design. And, the latte was excellent, too! Far better than the average joe, and at a reasonable price compared to the better known beaneries. If it had been served in ceramic, on a tray, and with a cookie, it would have garnered five stars; but given the styro cup delivery, I just couldn't get that far. Panorama Musicale could use a thorough cleaning and a little panache around its wonderful expresso machine, but as it is, it is a surprising find for superior coffee in the heart of Jersey's capital city.

A friend recently moved to Morrisville and I found myself in the area at lunchtime after a visit. I wanted to try a few things but it looked as though the steak was a big one, so I just had that. The fries that came with it were very good too. As was foretold, the steak was one of the best I've had in years. Let me start with the roll, long seeded torp that had a light toasting. ALL steaks should be so lucky as to have this as a delivery vehicle, most sandwiches too. The beef was tender and nicely seasoned and cheese and onions were evenly distributed throughout. The portion size/cost was very fair, this was 2 meals for me. My only critique would be on the Cooper American cheese used. I would prefer a sharper cheese, Cooper sharp or even provolone. I'll inquire if there are other options. Even if there weren't, I'd still get this anytime. I saw several other lunch items of interest to me, and in the right frame of mind and early enough several breakfast options too. Service was friendly and fast. I'll likely be back next for the shrimp tacos, or just another steak. I'm at a 4.5 with just the one visit, stay tuned....
